  Congratulations on getting a new phone! If I am not mistaken, you want to know how to change the name of your iPhone. If this is the case on the head to the settings app > tap general > press. Then type just the first line that displays the name of your iOS device. Rename the device to what you want, then tap done.

• Apple Watch is no longer display of contact names - only the phone numbers on the texts and phone calls

  PROBLEM: When I receive an SMS or a phone call on my IWatch, it now shows only the phone number or e-mail address of the sender, rather than their names.  At the same time my IPhone matched 5 c displays the names of my contacts perfectly list view text message or phone call.  This problem just started occurring in the past week.

  CAUSES: unknown - it worked one day and the next day it didn't.  I don't remember edit particular parameter associated with it. Although my circle of friends on the IPhone appears differently now, too, without the my change.

  TROUBLESHOOTING: I turned off my Iphone, tried resetting, powering my iwatch and checked the settings for the IWatch on my Iphone and my Iphone settings.

  PRODUCTS: My software on my Iwatch says it's updated: OS 2.2.1.

  My Iphone's software is also updated: IOS 9.3.2

  My sister is also having the same problem with his Iwatch paired with a phone SE 5.

  I wonder if this is a recent development and how to fix it.

  It can help restore your sync data:

  • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go: Watch My (tab) > general > reset > tap reset sync data.

  Whenever I receive an incoming call, the caller ID shows that the phone #, even when I have that number corresponded to a contact.  Since I have not much phone # stored s, I have no idea it's someone I know.  However, the contact name appears in the diary of appeal, but not on the initial display of incoming call.  How can I get caller ID to recognize and display the name of the contact with the phone #? Any help would be greatly appreciated!  (I have the blackberry 8520)

  It could be one of the three solutions... Try these:

  1. make sure that you set your own country code to the Phone Dialer screen > Options > smart dialing.
  Set your country code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
  * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your local area code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

  2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
  * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

  3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
  Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no

• 'Computer' window displays unique addresses instead of names assigned bluetooth bluetooth

  When Bluetooth is activated on my laptop, I see unique addresses bluetooth (for example "11:A1:11:A1:11:A1") instead of bluetooth names affected particular bluetooth devices in the 'Computer' window, but I can't see the bluetooth assigned names for all bluetooth devices in the window "devices and printers". It's very awkward transfer files between my laptop and bluetooth devices.

  Note that all the drivers and applications are up to date. I don't use third-party tools for bluetooth. Is the problem to an existing bug in Windows 7? If not, then what to do?

  I deleted all of the computer and then them again paired bluetooth devices. But the same issue remained.

  However, I solved the problem by myself.

  Solution:
  1. I removed all devices from the computer.
  2. type "Regedit" in the Search box of the Start menu and opened it.
  3. delete all entries to:

  • [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Intel\Bluetooth\btmshell\DeviceType]
  • [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intel\Bluetooth\FGMAP]

  4 then I matched all the devices again.

  Now I see bluetooth for all devices assigned names, both in the window of the computer and peripherals and printers .

• Photosmart Premium Fax AIO - rejects Android Bluetooth phone queries

  I tried to send a document created by QuickOffice Pro on my printer HP Photosmart Premium Fax AIO C309a of my Samsung Android 2.3 smartphone series.  The phone finds the bluetooth printer and I select.  The application attempts to send the document to print and it fails with the error "request refused by remote device.

  I thought I could use this printer as a bluetooth device, pair it with my phone and send documents to print.  Is there anything else I need to do to make it work correctly?

  I solved my problem. It print photos, but to print documents, you must install the third-party software, printshare and then buy the Premium key for $12.95.  It does not work on my Photosmart Premium Fax AIO.

  You must install it on the iphone. I'm not sure of what your operator offers you, but you need to add to attach to your plan with your operator if possible. Add this feature will open the function tethering in settings and then you can connect to the Xoom.

  If your provider does not offer this feature so your iPhone must be jailbroken to do and then you get it from the market called Cydia Jailbreak. If you do not know what im talking so you should probably leave it alone since it requires some 'hacking' of the iPhone and you need more information on this subject from a forum of iPhone that knows your carrier as well.

  Hello. Through background I have recently updated from iPhone to iPhone 6 7. I followed the normal process "full backup using iCloud" copy that whole, including the name of phone (in general/about/name) which initially was "iPhone 6" but I modified manually to "iPhone 7". "

  Today I went to connect to iPhone using bluetooth to attach new 7 and I could not find my iPhone anywhere (even if I could see my iPhone 6 on the list of known devices). After much exploration, I found that despite the iPhone bluetooth 7 screen saying ' now discoverable as iPhone 7 ", its been always seen as the iPhone 6. So, I deleted my old relationships and reconnected to "iPhone 6" (really my iPhone 7) and it worked.

  Am I missing something, or is it a flaw in the operating system that needs fixing?
