My office consume 90% more physical memory to the computer starts sometimes goes to 99% when executing Crome

Here is the specification of my office:

Operating system: Windows 7 Ultimate edition (service pack 1)

Processor: AMD Athlon (TM) II X 3 440 3.00 GHz processor

Installed RAM: 2 GB

System type: 64-bit Operating System

When I start my pc its work slowly Manager of tasks showing CPU 2 to 3% but physical memory showing 90 to 99% I still not open one tab. I have to wait for a while make the normal system approximately after 3 hours it became normal on is close to 50%

I also check show them processes from all users in System 32 uses the most memory. 4-5 last month, I use Windows 7, but recently the last 5-6 months, I get this problem. in the meantime I also upgrade to windows 10 but my processor is a supported graphics driver, so I went back to windows 7.

It seems that you have some problems.

You have a configuration things MBAM running which don't make sense (possibly uninstall/reinstall only) and your system are probably affected by a known issue on Windows Update where the symptom is a svchost process that uses too much memory and CPU.

Difficulty the afflicted svchost process first, and then work on other things, fixing a problem at a time.

Windows Update has been hit for several months and the symptom is a svchost process that uses too much memory and too much CPU bog down the system - which is easy to fix.

Read and apply this discussion of Canadian Tech:

Solution for Windows 7 updates

After that, reboot your system and see what things look like.

If you are interested in the gory details, so you can see what the Windows Update Service (wuauserv.exe), which is the problem here is an example of how do:

When you see the svchost running amok view the PID where PID is 1088 (I choose updates show a 14% CPU activity), then right-click on the process and choose go to Services:

If PID 1088 has been afflicted on the Services tab they would have already highlighted:

And there is our friend Windows Update Service (wuauserv) running under the NEST 1088:

But you can't see from there what service uses all CPUS how much CPU or using any of the Services.

Then click on the performance tab and the resource monitor:

In the resource monitor, click the Services tab and scroll down to 1088 PID and you can see all the Services under the NEST 1088 and also how much CPU they use.

In this example, only Windows updates (wuauserv) Service bounces looking for updates using 13 to 16% of CPU, but on a Windows Update afflicted system that it would probably be more (and BITS would be there too).  As you can see the rest of the Services that run under this svchost process PID 1088 use zero CPU:

  • How to use a virtual machine that requires more physical memory that I have?

A colleague send me a Linux VM, he built on a machine with much more physical memory 4 GB I have in my Macbook Air.  When I started the virtual machine in Fusion, he said that the more physical memory virtual machine that I had and suggested that this would reduce the memory for the virtual machine to 3 GB.  I said OK and the machine started.  I did a lot of work in this virtual machine.  I suspended the VM because I needed to recover a portion of memory that he used for another application.

When I try to start the virtual machine now, it says that it requires 4 GB of memory and that I should quit some applications or restart to free the memory required.  I tried both without success.

Why the parameter / 3GB was not recorded when I suspended the VM?

Given that I can't change the memory required for the virtual machine until it is properly closed and since then I can't stop the virtual machine without unsuspending it, I suspect that the VM is toast.

Is it possible to recover the virtual machine?

With VMware Fusion closed, you can remove the file from .vmss to to reset the VM to a shutdown state.  Note that whatever it is not recorded when he was suspended will be lost.

  • Upgrading the RAM. Can I use the old memory of the computer for the newly purchased computer.

My old computer which does not has RAM 1.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR @ 106 MHz (2, 5-3-3-7), while the anther computer, I bought recently has RAM DDR 400/128 bits. Can I use the old memory of the computer for the newly purchased computer. Are they compatible? Thank you

    Hello nonmae,.

You must use DDR 400/128 bit RAM in your system. @ 106 Mhz DDR is quite old. It's also much slower than the DDR 400. RAM is not particularly expensive today and it is always best to stick to that suggests your PC user manual.

You must use the same speed too, if you use a lower speed, the memory of your PC by default at the lowest speed, thus slowing the PC

  • WIM files taking up the memory of the computer

I have a HUGE amount of WIM files taking up my space of memory in the computer.

Is it safe to delete these files, and if not, what are the effects in this way?

    Thank you

    christhedev

These WIM may have been created when you eventually updated your system, usually backup files, somewhere along the line, but cannot say with certainty.  I recommend delete and save them to an external hard drive just in case the main C drive.  I don't think you'll see any bad effects.

  • The internal memory of the computer when using iTunes.

Anyone know if I add a movie or a song on iTunes and remove it from the computer, it still occupies the memory of the computer?

    Thank you for your help.

Memory and storage are two different things.  The memory is that the system uses to power the computer, so I don't think it's relevant to your question.  Memory is not used for a song or video, to less than the Mac used to play the song or the video.

For storage, if the iTunes Media in your iTunes library folder has the only copy of the video or the song file, then delete it from your iTunes library by selecting the option to send files to the trash AND empty the trash, will remove it from your storage space.

However, if you have added this video or song manually (from outside of iTunes), iTunes is configured by default (for Mac) to make a copy of the song file or a video for use in its iTunes Media folder.  iTunes leaves the original file where you added since.  Thus, you can have a second copy of the song or the video file in the storage of your computer.  You can do a search using a Finder window on the song or the name of the video, to see if there is still a copy in storage of your computer after the removal of the iTunes library.

    Kind regards.

Both say the same thing - 120 GB of free space. 128 886, 263, 552 bytes is 120 GB and 128 GB not

All hard drive manufacturers qualify 1 GB 1,000,000,000 bytes, while the rest of the computer, including the windows world, defines it as the 2 to the 30th power bytes (1 073 741 824). So, for example, a disk of 320 billion bytes is actually around 300 GB.

Of some note as the official international standard
sets the 'G' of GB as 1 billion, not 1 073 741 824. OK, even though they were, using the binary value of GB is so well-established in the world of computing that I consider be misleading on the part of the manufacturer of marketing using the decimal value of 1 billion.

  • Why must the Finder 10.12 more physical memory

    Hello

I use the preview mode icons in the Finder feature to pre-select one or more images for later use in documents. The pre-selection spans more than 30-40 records, each a few images from 80 to 120. At the beginning just after the start of system-Finder takes about MB, 45-47. Working through records about 20 this is increased to a muscular 1.78 GB. Which is not a problem at the moment because I have 20 GB of available, but I was wondering why the Finder is the hungry.  And also, this increase in the number of forever with the number of records, I'm working through?

The only way I can "free" memory to baseline is to force quit viewfinder, but there must be a more elegant method.

Anyone know this method? Thanks in advance.

    Hans

Finder, as the system and other applications, will use unused memory in the file cache. It uses more memory, but it does not use what is available and who otherwise would be wasted. If something else needs memory, cache memory is reduced. There is no need to keep 'liberation' memory. The system will take care of him for you (that's why all apps free memory are unnecessary placebos that actually reduce performance).

  • Dllhost.exe consumes too much physical memory and execution of 25% of CPU

Dllhost.exe use high memory Usages. How to solve this problem?

    Hi Brendan,

Did you recent hardware or changes to the software to the computer before the show?

Dllhost.exe is a process belonging to Microsoft Windows Operating System. The dllhost.exe file manages DLL based applications. This program is important for the stable and safe running of your computer and should not be terminated. DLLhost using lots of CPU may indicate a malware issue.

  • Total physical memory and the total virtual memory

    Hello

When I checked the repressive information of my laptop computer on which Windows XP SP3 installed, I discovered that RAM is of approximately:

    Total physical memory: 2.048 MB
    Available physical memory: 1.32 GB

    Total virtual memory: 2 GB
    Total available memory: 1.96 GB

As this screen shot in Arabic shows:

I don't really know what mean these four memories.

It would be very much appreciated

Physical memory is actual RAM that is installed inyour PC is fast enough with respect to access to the data

Virtual memory is not physical in terms that you can't touch it or remomve it. Vitutal is a section of hard disk space unused which is used on-site for faster physical memory that your PC does not have memory.

Because the hard drive is slower interms of access data to physical memory, your PC will see improved performance by adding or replacing existing physical memory with amounts more or more (512 MB or more)

Virtual memory allows your computer to always run, but at a slower speed when you run applications that have used all of the physical memory. Remember, even before starting a program already running the operating system and other services which each allocate a block of physical memory for themselves. You can see exactly how much is used by pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL and display of the process tab and the performance tab.

You can easily determine what your need to add to your PC memory by visiting a site like Crucial.com which allows you to scan your pc for the type of memory used.

  • Satellite P20 - GPV - upgrade memory makes the computer slow

My laptop came with 2 x 256 MB of ram. I bought 2 x 1 GB ULTRA of Tiger Direct. My computer is slower than before, so I went back to them. Should I buy memory Kingston as suggested by Toshiba? Should it make a difference?
What I would see as a difference?
    Luke

    Hello

In my opinion you shouldn't t buy any bars of memory without name because for the most part the performance of the memory are not good.
You should always use the modules of memory recommended by Toshiba.
Kingston memory modules are very nice with good performance.
On the Toshiba site, you will find the taken in charge and compatible.

  • I have currently 3.6.17...I can not download version 10 - I can't afford to upgrade my memory on the computer. Any other good use of browsers?

Now, the browser is slow... I would like to find something that looks like this. I don't understand why Firefox 3.6 should be changed. Everyone can afford new computers

As has been shown above, 10 Firefox would certainly go well with 1 GB of RAM, or even less.

When you perform the upgrade, you use update internal Firefox, or you download the file directly from www.getfirefox.com? I try to disable the antivirus temporarily, then download again once, run the installer, then re-enable your anti-virus. You should be all good to go then!
