  Not sure if this started because of a recent Media Encoder update or the fact that I went on my hard drive for one SSD model. It seems that now I can use is no longer my Macbook Pro to send e-mail or surf the web when export video in Premiere Pro or a pending Media Encoder. When the export is in progress, the use of the CPU on my Macbook is very low, yet I can't use anything else. Once the encoding stops, all is well again. Export preset I use is the same H:264 as source high bitrate. My support of source and my ways of output are both on an external drive of Thunderbolt. Any ideas on what is the cause?

I need first Pro CC I have a number of old projects, I was still working in this program. When I go to install first pro 15 he tells me that all previous versions will be deleted! I'm missing something. Probably of people need old project to be accessible and there to be worked in older versions of software?

  I'm on Windows 7 on a computer with i7 [email protected], 24 GB of Ram. I'm in first Pro CC 2015.2 9.2.0 (41)

  I have a 1080 p with a bunch of files chronology, mainly of sequences (4K) in H264. When you try to drag media (sometimes with maybe other files as well, AVI, MOV, WAV) tab in the timeline, the first project freezes. I am able to record with the controls in the main panel, but the symbol of the mouse remains as it was and I can't do anything with the mouse. Only way to solve it, must leave the first with the Task Manager.

  Restart the computer or to import the project into a new project does not help.

  Any ideas?

  I started to program frequent crashes in first Pro CC 2014.2 Mac OS 10.10.3 on my Mac Pro 2013. This problem occurs when I switch to another program, say word or Adobe Audion back to Premiere Pro. I have the dialog box "we're sorry" and the application breaks down. About 50% of the time when this happens - when I reopen it the application that it hangs again - and then on the 2nd re - open it is successful.   Very frustrating when I have a 4 hour movie I want to write to Bluray so I created now 4 separate sequences and try burning them to DVD in the chapters of 1 h.

  But I would like to make send to still and do the transcoding in the first use of the Media Encoder.

  Use the Bluray H.264 preset for BluRay. For DVD use mpeg2 dvd preset and fields is higher.

  In particular, I would make for DVD transcoding with first as in CS5 will still reverse fields.

  I have no problem with a low framerate, as in the end it will be still rendered 25 images per second, but I do not understand why the PP is the speedchange instead of calculating it down.

  Maybe the answer is quite simple, but I have really no idea.

  I can understand why this can be confusing. Just because a clip has a red on it, usually useless line to make it. The clips play back smoothly? Here's more on what means the red line (index: it is not the same thing as the PCF).

• First Pro CC crashes when cutting (often during playback)

  I had first Pro CC gel on me on every 2 minutes when I cut in the timeline using keyboard shortcuts (trim backward/forward a framework). It seems to happen more often during playback, but sometimes also exclusively during the Cup (and sometimes when I use a keyboard shortcut for step forward/backward a picture)-obviously not during playback.

  This seems to be a weird gel & not an accident, in the sense that playback freezes and I get the spinning beachball/wheel of death and the first does not, but when I force-quit, first resumes playback for a second before giving the error message "First has experienced a serious error and needs to close" and then close.

  Any help would be appreciated - it's really causing a massive slowdown in my editing.

  First Pro CC completely up to date, I'm editing the files audio .aiff 48 kHz or h.264 video in a timeline of fps 1080 p 24, on waveforms, acceleration GPU off the COAST.

  The same problem also happens on my iMac (early 2013 - I don't have the specs on me).

  I just called adobe support and the problem was resolved by trashing "7.0" files in the ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Premiere Pro directories / and ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Premiere Pro.

  Rampage of the preferences of the user (i.e. the preferences in ~/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/7.0 /) was not enough, but it might be necessary.

  This happened to me twice in the last two weeks, both times in the same circumstances. I take my mac at the Apple Store tomorrow, but I found it worth to post the question here:

  My Macbook Pro freezes when playing iTunes AND connected to an external audio system. Won't happen only when it is connected to the headphones or when you use the internal speakers. This does not happen immediately. It took about 10-20 minutes, and the specific song ends to play even if the computer is already frozen. I wonder what follows:

  This could result in the latest version of iTunes (12.3.3.17)?

  Or is there something funky going on with the material of my Mac?

  FYI, I have a Macbook Pro, 256 GB early 2015 and I've just updated to the latest OS (El Capitan 10.11.4)

  Could be due to the failure / faulty USB hub or cables (USB or audio, regardless of your game to the top). Try to connect without a hub (if you are using one) and with different cables.

  Given that the issue does not appear when you use a headset, I don't think it is related to iTunes.
