My phone blackBerry smartphones send a lot of emails without my knowledge

I only got my 8900 for a week now and I got my gmail for her. for the last two days, he sent emails to just a bunch of random numbers with the area usually as @txt.att.net GOLD @comcast.net GOLD @messaging.nextel.com etc. The only reason that I find is when my email sent me an email from "Message undeliverable". How can I stop this from happening? When I go to my gmail from my computer the same messages are there. I've never had this problem until I got my email with my phone. Any help out there?

I suspect these gmail are sent from your PC, you have a virus on the PC or a spammer has hacked into your gmail account.

Shipments of Gmail FOR your web portal of gmail now reconcile messages sent to your BlackBerry as sent items. This is a new feature of BlackBerry Internet Service introduced last month.

Your problem isn't with the BlackBerry, but with your gmail account.

Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones setting common POP / IMAP email without BIS

    Hello everyone!

I'm new to BlackBerry and problems with the configuration of e-mail.

My operator (Megafon, Russia) does not support BIS. So I use standard applications of BB with difficulty (for example, Internet browser works only in the WiFi area). However, I installed third-party applications to browser and messaging (opera and SmartMail) and they work with my internet GPRS / 3 G unlimited (using the APN settings).

I have some problems with SmartMail - it loads the messages in a strange way (some are not loaded in all) and integrate fully into the device (for example - does not with 'send' option of address book). In regard to the Opera - it's OK, I use it often.

Official website of BB (http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB10154), I see that there is a way to configure the standard to work with BlackBerry e-mail client running POP / IMAP (not 'push' technology) servers. But in my camera, I has such characteristic - there is only one option in the Setup Wizard (sounds like 'work installation using BlackBerry Enterprise Server email') and so just need to BIS/BES. Installation manual (that was in the box), there are TWO options - 'BES' and 'other' installation of the Messaging. I don't have one. Maybe it depends on the phone language or the country selected? Maybe for Russia, there are some features of 'cut '?

I read recently in some post depends on my operator. But my operator has not only any service of BB at all! In my opinion, any good e-mail client MUST support POP / IMAP. I understand that PUSH-technology is great, but now it is not available for me.

    My device settings:

    -Blackberry Pearl 9105 3

    -Software v 5.0.0.884 (platform 6.2.0.94)

Thank you much for the help!

Everything is rooted in this statement. See this FAQ for general guidance:

BIS is the equivalent of the last level in this list... without it, you get no native email service (or any of the other exclusive services BB BIS-dependent).

The KB you accessed is strictly for BIS customers... There is nothing else.

BB do email differently by other devices. BBs do not natively have an e-mail on the device client. Rather, BIS works as an intermediary between the BBs and customers carrier/RIM-hosted email services. BIS checks e-mail services, and if there is something new, it brings to the BB. From the point of view of the BB, it's really the PUSH email.

Other devices use ActiveSync similar things... a customer of e-mail on the device directly to check electronic mail services and pulling new things to the device. BBs isn't natively.

So, the KB, you have found is questionable... it does apply if you have full bis service, that you can't get. As a result, you end up with 3 third-party solutions... and you need to talk to these developers of any issue you have with their application.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones, sending emails

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books (pre-BB10 only devices)

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. IF this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones, send pictures via text

I tried to find a way to send pictures through text on my new blackberry curve, & I can't understand it. I don't know if this is not available, or I can't find it.

    any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

If you talk to send a picture to another phone, you can send MMS messages.  SMS (text) messages do not support attachments and actually do only support sending a message one bit 1 120.

You must have MMS support from your provider to use.  If you do not see an option to compose or send MMS messages, you probably need to order the service, how you would get the book of service [MMS].

    Hey Shirewood,

    Welcome to the forums.

You can have a database of the book service corrupt on your BlackBerry smartphone.

The first thing you want to do is clear the Service book database on the device by using the following article.

Then return the service book and test with a new email to see if you are still experiencing the same issues.

  • My phone blackBerry Smartphones has a lock of business or something?

I bought a Blackberry 8830 we HAVE on ebay and they can't push the books of service to me because of some lock on the phone that a company put on? Is there a way THAT RIM can help me with this so I can use the Internet and e-mail and other applications on my phone?

Ouch... the pain of buying used. Here is a KB with some information for you:

KB05099 Steps to take before selling it, or after buying a used BlackBerry smartphone

Unfortunately, in your case, is that part of it... you need to remove the it policy which is latent on the device. Here are some procedures that may (or may not) work:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?message.UID=269661#U269661

    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/How_do_I_remove_the_IT_Policy_on_my_BlackBerry%3F

In all cases - wait that your BB will liquidate as fees and clean. This means that if you ever put anything on it, it will be lost.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

  • Less than 24 hours of charge dead phone blackBerry smartphones

Hi I have a blackberry 9300. Three months despite showing a full charge within minutes to make or receive a call or a text, the phone goes dead. I bought a new battery. Arises again the same thing. I don't have I'm aware of other operating outside of the basic ones on my phone that will run without my knowledge. I disabled the blue tooth as well. Please please can someone help, thank you very much

A battery may fail in different ways and have different symptoms, in function. You see one of them.

I figured it was a knockoff and not an OEM battery.   It is OEM, and you bought from a retailer, I would tend to believe that the battery was ok when you guessed it.

As the battery worked for a while, I tend to doubt that there is a problem with the device.

If it were me, I'd get another battery and change my habits.   Top it off when you can and load when you sleep, see what happens.

  • BlackBerry smartphones receives do not all emails on Storm

I get only about 1/3 of my email on my Storm. I have a POP account with a 3rd-party set up with the Blackberry e-mail system to leave emails on my PC and send to my BB Storm.

The instructions on the forums said:

If you have a problem sending or receiving e-mail messages,
Send books to service for your BlackBerry Storm smartphone.

To send service directories, follow these steps:
    1. on the home screen, click Settings > e-mail settings.
    2. in the email accounts screen, display the menu and click on Service of depreciation. <== this="" option="" is="" not="" on="" the=""> of the storm

    3. click on Send Service books.

How can I make my email forwarding more reliable?

    Hello!

A bit of clarification, if you don't mind. Do you use the desktop redirector to send e-mails you or do you use BIS to draw from your POP account and send you Storm?

If you use BIS - how do you have your PC e-mail application set about e-mail leaving on your POP Server? If your PC is to remove them from the server, then it could be a matter of time - if your PC is to remove them from the server before the polling interval BIS, then they wouldn't be here when BIS tries to shoot them.

With respect to the service books, I can't say clearly if you listed all the steps... they are:

    1. Setup
    2. E-mail settings
    3. (sign in if you have created a password)
    4. scroll and highlight (do not click) the email account appropriate to handle BIS
    5. Click on the button (the button to the right of the green phone button) BB
    6. Select Service books
    7. Click on "send Service books.

If the option "Service books" is not in the menu, then maybe something else is missing. Have you tried logging into your site Web of BIS (http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F) carriers? I found it easier to manage the parameters of BIS from a PC and this site since the storm of the interface. (You may need about the storm, create an identifier and a password first... then you will be able to connect via the BIS Web site).

  • BlackBerry smartphones remove security settings of 8820 without access to PC

I recently acquired a 8820, but I can't remove the security settings.  I'm currntly do not have access to a PC to connect the device to.  is there a way to delete the settings?  Thank you.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Exactly what 'security settings' you are asking about? Only these words, there are a lot of possibilities...

My guess - if your BB has a policy due to have been associated with a BES environment

    • KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

and if you want that political removed, then see this KB:

    • KB14202 How to remove a policy from IT to a BlackBerry smartphone

You will notice that methods 1, 2 and 3 require the admin BES to do something... If you are no longer associated with the BES, then these methods do not work, which leaves... method 4 not requiring connection to a PC.

On the other hand, if I guessed wrong, then please specify exactly what 'Security Settings' you're curious about.

  • Sync gmail contacts OK blackBerry Smartphones, but can not synchronize Emails

    Dear Blackberry community!

I recently changed my contract mobile and kept my professional Blackberry Curve 9300.

I managed to configure gmail and synchronize contacts & the order of the day, but I can't seem to synchronize emails.

It seems to me that the old configuration blocking private Email-addresses is still active, but I don't know where and how to change.

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Cheers, Inken

Hello and welcome to the community!

Of what you say, I read that you had BES enabled on your BB, you have separated from the company/what BES now, but your BB was not properly cleaned of it's political, that continues to limit the things. To remedy this, you perform a specific wiping of your BB as follows:

    1. First of all, review the link of my auto-sig about backups... this process will completely clean your BB and you have to start over.
    2. Once ready, follow this KB to clean your BB of the it policy:
      • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings
    3. When / if you restore, DO NOT do a full restore, restore only those databases that are essential, especially to avoid those who have something to do with the company, BES, political, etc.. If you fail at this stage and all restore, you simply put it on your BB policy and be right where you started.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not receive Gmail emails on my bbtorch

    Help!

I can send but cannot receive emails gmail on my blackberry of the flame.  The phone says e-mail is configured and sends very well but when I send test e-mails to her I get a MAILER-DAEMON failure notice.

IMAP is active and who have followed all the instructions on gmail and blackberry help guides but I think I'm missing something.

He drives me crazy - gratefully received suggestions that I can't receive my mails to work on my blackberry which is make life so difficult!

Interesting.  Try to set up a test gmail account and see if you can add that to your blackberry.  If this criterion into account work, then the question is between blueprint.org.uk and gmail

    You can also try this:

Go to this link from your phone: mobile.blackberry.com
On this page, scroll down to connect, click E-mail, select the type of e-mail account and Setup from there.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Facebook - App Notifications and email (fbapp v1.8.0.49)

    Hi all

Have recently upgraded via the updater for Facebook v1.8.0.49 appworld

In the previous version when a notification came through Facebook it would make appear an icon on the home screen of facebook and NOT send an email to the email address on blackberry.

For example, I have an email address BIS set up on my camera (mobileemail.vodafone.net) and also have the blackberry facebook app messaging service enable (checked) in the facebook app and also the "blackberry Smartphone notifcation" checked in the facebook of PC through iexplorer.

Before only facebook notifications came as the app or facebook knew it was the same address, since the upgrade I now get both an email to my BIS email account and a notification icon appears.

I change anything in the options.

(now tried logging in and out, reticking options, etc, nothing)

Y at - it a new option, or is this a bug of upgrade. The application of face book has only delete the email and now sends to the device?

Since typing this my wife with the 8520 just told me that she has the same problem.

    Does anyone else have this?

This isn't a major problem as long as at least I'm getting a nowt rather than email and notification.

    Congratulations to all

    Hi mohdfarhanakram

Automatically move e-mail messages to a different folder is available only when you're using BlackBerry® Enterprise Server.  Messages will be filtered on the mail server but would appear in these folders on the BlackBerry® smartphone.

I hope that answers your question!

    Thank you
