  I have a brand new printer Officejet 100 (just out of the box today) and I am trying to print photos from my Canon Rebel T5, which is connected by usb to the printer.

  I have a new all-in-one Canon Pixma MG5320. I am unable to get the installer to finish with on "setting up the network printer down." Despite numerous attempts to:

  (1) download the driver on the internet instead of the installation CD.

  2) with the help of msconfig with selective startup and disabled all programs except Microsoft.

  (3) creates the new administrator account and returned through it all.

  (4) turned off firewall and anti-virus

  The error is compatible and I never have the unit set up under devices and printers.   Have even tried to load drivers generic, just to see if it works, no chance.  I have on other computers with XP Pro on them and they picked it up, drivers loaded and works very well, but Vista is a different game. Tried plugging USB and gives the same error. Add a printer recognizes it, but it does not load the drivers.   I'm English, living in Spain.  I just bought a laptop Samsung 7 times in the Portugal.  Windows 7 has been installed with UK location + English language, the region is set to the United Kingdom, the language to English and the default location in the UK

  I downloaded the Windows 7 driver for my printer HP C4340 on the HP UK site.  I chose the English driver (PS_AIO_03_Nonnet_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe).  However, when installing the driver always INSISTS on the default of Spanish language - it gives me some options.  I can't find the settings on the computer or in Windows 7 that relate to the Spanish at all!  I even tried disconnected from the internet (where he picked up a location of my ISP).

  Don't forget to change the language of Non-Unicode, so defining, then check any changes:

  In the Control Panel, go to the region and language.

  Enter in the administration tab.

  Click settings to change system locale and change its value to English.

  Restart the PC and check any change.
