  • 9.1.2 Safari does not not with youtube videos

    Hi all

Just get a somewhat strange question in this Safari now does not play youtube in HTML5 videos.

It started in the last days.

    Resolution of problems so far:

    (1) safe start up... seems to work.

    (2) Firefox, works great every time

    (3) sometimes works in Safari once then stops.

    Seems a bit unusual.

What I get when I start is reading in white letters move to HTML5 as a default value, then a black screen no picture or sound.

Safari still usable and can switch to another video, but it does the same thing.

As says no problem with FF.

Does anyone else have this problem?

    At soon HD

I only use Safari on my Mac and it works very well with YouTube.

  • Safari stops everything requires hard restart

Safari on late 2009 iMac after works very well for some time, unexpectedly brings all of a sudden stop. The cursor moves, but clicking on does nothing. Keyboard does not work so force quitting is not accessible. Ideas?

    Hi Robert,.

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. Sorry to hear that you are having these problems with your iMac. I'm a little unclear on the exact nature of the issue you describe (how many times it happens, if there is some kind of trigger, etc.), but if the freezing of the whole system seems to be linked to Safari, you can try to reproduce the problem under a test user to see if it happens again. You can find information and troubleshooting procedures described in the following article useful:

You can also see if what you are experiencing is a question of depletion of resources (memory/RAM pressure, high utilization of the processor, available disk space, etc.). If so, then this article can also be useful:

  • GAL of Safari when it is on YouTube

    Hey friends

For some time when I am on YouTube watching videos, gets terribly slow Safari, the mouse cursor lagging, and scrolling is not responsive. When to leave Safari and reopening of YouTube, it is very good for a short period of time, but safari then begins to not respond again.

I use Safari 9.1.1, on end of 2013 MacBook Pro retina, 256 GB, 8 GB, 2.4 Ghz

    Does anyone have a suggestion?

  • Firefox will not stop playing music to youtube

    Firefox 38.0.5 OS X Yosemite 10.10.3

Played music on youtube. YouTube to stop smoking, stop. Come back 2 hours later to start Firefox still play music.
It was yesterday. Since then, I have disabled all the extension and plug-in power off the laptop completely and signed my youtube account. Open Firefox - still play music.

I'm about to completely uninstall Firefox, but I'm open to suggestions first.

    Thank you

The issue is actually with Shockwave Flash Player. Sometimes the Flash Player remains running even after Firefox was closed. I'll try to uninstall flash player.

YouTube should work in HTML5 mode without flash player. I suggest to try on the web without flash player and then only install flash player if it seems that you really need. These days most sites work just fine without flash.

  • Safari displays no text on youtube

This started happening about 2 weeks ago. I disabled all extensions, emptied all of the cache and history and deleted the app and "started cool" - which did not fix my problem. I don't not do something out of the ordinary or install apps when the question first started happening.

I've spent since for chrome and everything has been fine.

Is there anything I can change in the settings or control/replacement in the terminal to possibly diagnose or fix this problem?

    I am running 10.11.3 and safari 9.0.3

I've attached a screenshot of what youtube looks like on my end.

Removed from what app?  You could not have deleted Safari, OS X would not have allowed you to do so.  Go to http://www.etresoft.com/etrecheck , download and run EtreCheck, copy paste here the status report.

  • How to stop an embeded video (youtube)?

    Hello world

    I have the following problem:

    I used this code:

    var youtubevid = $("< iframe/>");

    youtubevid.attr('type','text/html');

Now what code should I use and where do I add to stop the video to play?

I tried the JQuery "player.stopVideo ()", but I guess that's not as simple as that...

  • 9.1 Safari stops responding to my entry

I use Safari with Yosemite (10.10.5) 9.1 on a 15 "MacBook Pro with the Retina display. Since the update of the 9 9.1, I had several times the Safari experience looking normal, but does not not to normal mouse click or keyboard commands. I can scroll through pages (and on a page of scrolling can scroll normally) and the cursor turns into the needle on the links, but I can click til the cows come here and NOTHING will happen. A right-click gives me the menu pop-up usual allowing me to open a link in a new tab or window, and if I go this way this link will open properly... but with the same maddening lack of response.

I was unable to predict when this problem will be triggered. He thought it was related to how many cookies were taken, but sometimes when I have about 60 cookies (my usual browser "baggage") and sometimes when the number is close to 400. I tried to disable all plug-ins, and he has not made a difference. The only way to return to normal functionality is to quit Safari and then start again - and when I re - open the same page from the same site on which the problem occurred earlier, moments everything is copacetic, and I can browse the web normally until Safari suddenly decides to ignore me again. I don't have to force - quit the application when the problem occurs because what my Mac is Safari work OK.

I started using Mozilla browser much more (there never the same problem), but I would like to be able to use Safari without worrying about having to leave and come back on my way many times. Has anyone else encountered (and hopefully fixed) this problem?

When it does not have Safari, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

Run the Console application in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

The title of the Console window should be all Messages. If it isn't, select

SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ all Messages

in the list of logs on the left. If you don't see this list, select

List of newspapers seen ▹ display

in the menu at the top of the screen bar.

Each message in the journal begins with the date and time when it was entered. Highlight date back to the time you noted above.

Select the messages entered since then until the end of the episode, or until they begin to repeat, whichever comes first.

Copy messages to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command + V.

The journal contains a large amount of information, almost all this is useless to solve any particular problem. When you post a journal excerpt, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

Please don't dump blindly thousands of lines in the journal in this discussion.

Please do not post screenshots of log messages - text poster.

Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

When you post the journal excerpt, an error message may appear on the web page: "you include content in your post that is not allowed", or "the message contains invalid characters." It's a bug in the forum software. Thanks for posting the text on Pastebin, then post here a link to the page you created.

If you have an account on Pastebin, please do not select private in exposure menu to paste on the page, because no one else that you will be able to see it.

  • Errors in Safari by trying to play the YouTube video that has an ad at the beginning

Having this issue for a while (since Yosemite).  I'm on the last, largest OS X and Safari.  When I visit YouTube and the video has an announcement, Safari will not play video.  I get an error.  If I go to Chrome on this user, he plays very well.  If I go to a test account, Safari it plays very well.  I Reset Safari back to installation costs as possible (trying to solve a problem of WebEx where the Safari doesn't launch WebEx but just turns and turns) and still get this error.

Does anyone have an idea what is the cause of the issue is, how can I solve it and solve it?  It would be awesome if it also solves the problem of WebEx.  As it is, I spend much more time in Chrome because 'it works' Safari held counts these nagging questions and no real way to solve problems. And Reset Safari receive one together much more complicated with the recent versions when the Reset Safari option has been removed.

    Force quit.

Press command + option + esc together keys at the same time. Wait.

When the Force Quit window appears, select Safari if not already.

Press the button to leave the bottom of the window.   Wait.

    Safari stops.

    2. restart Safari by holding down the SHIFT key.

This will launch Safari mode without failure.

3 turn off wifi and turn it back on.

Turn off the Wifi. Click the Wifi icon in the menu bar, then select "Turn off Wifi".

    Visit another website.

    You have no internet connection.

Turn on Wifi. Click the Wifi icon in the menu bar and select ' turn Wifi on.

    Select your network.

    4. remove the Cookies
