  I could go as far as getting unique values, but what I can't do, it is understand for the life of me how to put the asterisk in there.

  According to your last post, you keep what is displayed for the other columns, so why display them at all, so this will do the job.

  If you want to view the other columns, you have two choices. You must either put some sort of aggregate function in the list of selection, such as min, max, or sum, or they need to be part of the group.

  It looks like the upper part may be in a State reduced - the line was pulled up.

  Just of the cursor on the line that separates the upper and lower sections, and drag it to the bottom.

  I need an explanation of what could of happened to cause this problem.

  I've scanned 4 cheques, but only the upper part of the cheques would be real, the lower part was released as a previous check scanned.

  So basically all 4 cheques are the same except for the date and sequence number which was the upper part.

  That's happened? I'm so confused.

  As you can see, the first has a transparent upper part while the second has a frequency quite unsightly. The first image was taken to a resolution of 1280 x 800 while the second was taken from resolution 1920 x 1080, so all that matters. I submit this to the second computer, so that the troubleshooting information comes from the computer showing the second image.
