My security maintains close!

Turn off my anti-virus guard program.  I suspected that I may have a virus, so I ran a scan depth, cleaner, blah blah, and my anti-virus maintains itself shut down.   What is my next step?  IWAS using Avast free protection against virus and Malwarebytes, but neither that found something of 'suspect' or virus.  I uninstalled Avast and loaded Microsoft Security Essentials, have a FULL scan and we found 5 threats.  I removed the threats, but my anti-virus maintains itself shut down.    any ideas?

It could be the Virus inside your system or another service interfere and cause this problem. Did you do a full scan in safe mode?

Try to update MSE and updated Windows and make sure that the Windows Firewall is enabled.

Restart your PC and press F8 ke and boot into safe mode and run the full scan of the system.

OK, I think I found the problem, which seems to be with my browser is Mozilla Firefox. When I open a different browser (I tried Google Chrome), I have not had any problems with this DEP error and Flash behaved normally. I have not had time to try to uninstall and reinstall Firefox again but that's where the problem arises. Worst case, I'll change my browser, problem sorted!

    Hi Butterflies96,
Please run a check of malware and install a new version of Firefox. Sometimes a problem with Firefox can be a result of malware installed on your computer, you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:

No, who does not have the same protection. Some data may be revoked by closing and restarting Firefox, but even so, you still have the data stored on the disk in the cache or cookies even if you closed all tabs open before closing Firefox.

You can switch to private browsing to prevent storage of the data at all, or you can use clear history recent to clear the last hour or more if necessary.

Firefox 4 and later versions Save the previous session automatically, so it is no longer need for the dialog box asking if you want to save the current session.

Use ' file > leave ' or ' Firefox > Exit ' (Mac: ' Firefox > quit Firefox ") If you want to restore multiple windows or have problems with the restoration of the tabs.

You can use ' history > restore previous Session ' to get the previous session at any time.

  • AVG Internet Security maintains the 'blocking' Windows updates

I am running Windows XP Home SP3 on my machine. I recently pushed a rootkit/trojan infection. My AVG Internet Security v9 is running and updated very well... something which it did in a month because of the infection. My Windows Firewall and automatic updates are enabled. (Which is also disabled during infections). I went to the Microsoft site and downloaded/installed the critical updates 43 (the infection had turned off automatically updated). However all the time I download and install the updated my AVG kept popping up with a deadlock message:

    'au.download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/software/crup/2012/07_467626d3805abcce3d926b85d8928a20d5edc05b.exe '.

(I continued to close the notification window and download or install updates. Each of them went through).

My Windows security shield has an exclaimation point on this subject.

Is it is a sort of conflict between AVG and update of Windows?

Please HELP... it makes me craaaaazy since it appears every 20 seconds or so!

    Thank you very much

Thanks for the suggestion on disabling the antivirus! I didn't turn off the whole program (which would be 'reisdent shield' on AVG). I have disabled the internet part (shield online) since it pops up constantly during the update downloads.

This part of the virus program is turned back on.

So far so good. Automatic updates seems to be to download and install without any interference of AVG Internet Security.

Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a security feature that can help prevent damage to your computer from viruses and other security threats. Harmful programs can try to attack Windows by attempting to run (also known as execute) authorized the code from the locations of memory system reserved for Windows and other programs. These types of attacks can affect your programs and files.

DEP can help protect your computer by analyzing your programs to make sure that they use the system safely memory. If DEP notices a program on your computer using memory incorrectly, it closes the program and notifies you.

  • "Windows Vista Security Center" close browser windows, precise I have a virus, and now no programs will be opened. Windows does not start in safe mode, and all the system restore points have already disappeared.

    Hello

I have a Dell laptop under Windows Vista Premium. I got it for about three years, and he is upset enough ok tonight. In the middle of browsing the internet, check my email, etc., all but one of my browser windows close at random, and a message appears "windows vista Security Center" whenever I try to open a new window, blocking of the site and to say that the site is dangerous and my system has been infiltrated by a Trojan horse. Then he starts the scan and says that I must buy the full to get everything to work again. I closed everything, since I already have McAfee antivirus and internet security, but it does not, and neither did any other progams. I tried restarting in safe mode to restore a backup point, but Windows does not open in safe mode, rather stick for half an hour in the middle of loading. When I managed to start windows in normal mode, I found that all my past restore points had been erased.

This happened to someone else, and it is fixable without wiping everything?

    Thanks in advance,

  • Photoshop maintains close without warning or errors

    Hello

I have a strange problem.  We just install CS5 about four months ago.  About two months ago, we started having trouble with Photshop untimely closing.  As a first step, it closed after having been open for an hour or two.  When the problem appeared first of all, I have uninstalled and reinstalled.  It worked fine for awhile, but now it closes after having been open for about five minutes.  It is not only a file - we tried with several different files.  Here's the really strange thing - we can open Illustrator or InDesign and have no problem at all.  So I'm new to Adobe, which would cause Photoshop to crash and not other applications?  We have no third-party plug-in installed and photoshop is completely up-to-date - 12.0.4.  The OS is XP pro and the user is a member of the domain and is also a member of the admins local on the computer.  Also, there is no event to the event log registration when it closes.  If there are papers relating to Adobe files, I don't know about them.  Any ideas where I should look at to solve this problem?

Your graphics driver crashes. Install the most recent / accurate to NVidia or ATI and configure it accordingly.

  • Satellite C600-1ZM maintains close unexpectedly

I got a Toshiba Satellite C600-1ZM 2 years and in the last days, he began to shut down unexpectedly, as if she was dangerously low on power.

However, the battery is never low when it arrives.
This happens about every 2 hours and that day came only when the charger is unplugged.
Can I do to solve this problem?

I checked the settings on the energy saving control panel, and nothing is different to how it was before it started. I did a system restore from a point of recovery from last week, but it made no difference.

I was wondering if this could be due to the fan?
Recently my computer has been slower than usual, especially when using the internet (Chrome) and I found the virus in recent weeks, but I removed these.

However the problem that I'm writing occurred after that these viruses were removed so cannot be bound.

Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

I hope you can help me,

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say why this happens, but it can happen due to overheating. Perhaps material reached the critical temperature and just turns off.
After 2 years of use, I can imagine that the fan cooling or cooling events are full of dust and material cannot be properly cooled. Maybe you can try to use compressed air and clean the ventilation openings.

  • Acer E3-111 maintains close on its own. What is causing this malfunction?

Acer E3-111 keeps blocking down on its own. Stopped after 45 minutes running. Order 10 minutes running. Stop after 5 minutes running. Stops immediately after pressing the Start button / stop. This happens with or without current battery. Battery is fully charged the last time I was able to take a glimps before his stop. Complete model is Acer E3-111 C9NY.  Operating system is Windows 10. The touchpad does not work. I am unable to update firmware or the BIOS due to the unit to stop. I'm more concerned by the problem of closure than the touchpad. Just thought it might be related somehow. I know there are some GURU here which may help me. Solutions would be great. I have troubleshooted more that I can troubleshoot without booting the operating system or BIOS.
Also, I checked with the support of Acer to see if there was a recall on this model, and nothing does not appear through the Web site.

I think that maybe it's the Panel control, but not sure. I also tried the reset button on the bottom, while the battery was still on and still the same problem.

It remains lit until the display puts wotking, and then stops. It's the graphics chip or the HARD drive.

I don't know if you tried with just the HARD drive out. If the HARD disk is ok, you need a motherboard.
