  It may be useful if you are going to... Tools / Options / Compatibility tab...
  and uncheck all filters.

  Also... it might be a compatibility problem with your source files...
  (videos / photos / music files)

  Video - wmv or dv - avi
  Music - wma, wav, wmv

  You don't normally need to connect to download anything from Adobe, especially the free offerings such as Flash Player and Acrobat Reader.  IF you are on a Mac might be the security of your computer asking you to connect.

  You can use an ethernet cable between the modem (= the internet connector) and the iMac.

  WiFi is like an invisible computer thread worms (among others) the modem. When you switch WiFi off, your computer cannot reach the modem and so there is no internet on your computer.

  Windows parental control have no option to directly block access to the internet in a Windows user account, because the system needs to provide activity reports. To work around the problem, you can block all internet browsers available for this user account so that the child have no way to access the internet.   1. on any computer, log on to the parent account for http://fss.live.com

  2. click Edit settings under the name of the child you want to change the settings and then click the App restrictions.

  3. check the circle next to turn on the restrictions of the app.

  4. check all programs related to access to the internet or type the application in the area of Search apps .

  5. check the box next to the application or the program once it appears in the list.

  6. click on Save.

  This settings apply only to that specific user account. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

  I use a hp pavilion dv9500 with 64-bit vista sp2 and built in a wireless adapter that will fall randomly my internet wireless connection, but maintains my wireless network connection with an excellent signal strength.

  I know how to reconnect to the internet, but it forces me to diagnose a repair my connection. It then displays "cannot connect to Server primary dns (75.75.75.75)"after which it gives "things to try" who never work and a button 'Reset the ip address' that I click. " repair bar will fill up to half way and go to a new screen solution that shows more 'solutions' and a "reset wireless adapter" button which I click. the remedy bar will fill and then display windows can not solve the problem and go for help. I then manually disconnect from the wireless network and my computer will automatically reconnect to the network and to the internet. It takes about five minutes to fix, but it happens so often that it is getting boring. The process will not work if I only to reset the ip address and then disconnect from the network, only to reset the wireless adapter and then disconnect, or just disconnect from the network and reconnect.
