  Over the past two days, whenever I connect, windows defender appears and says it blocked a commissioning program. So I open windows defender and choose "show or remove blocked startup programs" I assume that the program that is blocked is showing on the screen.   Here is some information about dlg.exe; http://www.processlibrary.com/directory/files/dlg.  Here's more information:http://forums.avanquestusa.com/aq/archive/index.php/t-4477.html.  As you can see, the creators of this program are known to have made Spyware in the past and that is probably why it is blocked.

  How did you get this program and why do you have this program?  It seems to me that it does not offer much that you can't with programs that cause fewer problems (if necessary at all).  I checked the site web avanquest and this program is not listed: http://www.avanquest.com/.  I also checked Phone Tools of BVRP (whose dlg.exe is supposed to be a part of):http://download.cnet.com/BVRP-Mobile-Phone-Tools/3000-2349_4-93370.html , but that seemed for mobile phones and brought him back to avanquest.  I could not find any information on the product (in addition, Tools of BVRP Phone does not list itself as compatible with Vista).

  I have a program (called Wondershare) I thought I had uninstalled later. I was mopping up my start today and noticed Wondershare programs on the list of processes.
