My T7910 came with two bays of processor

It appeared earlier and I looked inside and of course it has 16 bays of memory and 2 beautiful large bays of processor rather than one that told me to wait with my single purchase of an e5-2650 v3 and 32 GB DDR4 4x8chips XEON Proc. I know tells you all about the goal then I would be surprised and happy right EXTRA? :~) . (I choose to believe that).  :) I was right, because why a unique model number would mother many styles on board!  Different CHIPS maybe but not motherboard! They would just give different number model, 7900 7920 or, with a number of type 7911-has been revised. Otherwise, it would be a nightmare to replace a motherboard. Dell rocks...  More beautiful Machine. that I never set eyes.  I used to own a Convertible PC of Tabler by ASUS called a R1F, when it was released it was called "The LAMBORGHINI of Notebook computers" - well, I gave this Tablet PC to my little nephew to have a computer of his own in his room, and now I have re - claim this expression to invent a nickname for the T7910; my new computer switches! Didn't come with much else though...  None of the drives. (I hope that this optimization of Dell for Autodesk 3Ds Max software, they talked, is on the Dell.com site.  There is the Windows key, so all I need is a disc to install Windows $10...  I asked; a DVD of resources as well as the Energy Star AND one of the "change 5.25" to 2.5 "bays free install Kits. But I hope that if they send a Correct Power Supply, etc, the kit of disk resources and 2.5 "can come with it. (no idea if they are welcome?  up and down, they promised that the Energy Star Option would be included before shipping...  I don't want the "Chrism" bug - if he's out and about he will see this and answer, otherwise he is held in any case...   I'll give you tech a call now that I have a sticker (somewhere) that apparently allows me to get to them for the first time again.) (which should make a difference, I hope.). On the Energy Star 6 option... Maybe if I ask you once again, someone can answer and not tell me that I'm not allowed to know because all the information "are owners'., (so they said right before the last dark ages,..): what I'm now missing (in terms of Energy Star compliance), they said they would put in and didn't?  It IS JUST the power SUPPLY? or the whole of the machine that receives Energy Star treatment and I need this credit to return completely to start again for the sake of a 'unique' CHECKBOX. ' They ' (tech chat etc.) says that a power supply could be easily "cross-shipped. I hope that this is the case.  I have not really met someone at Dell that could actually change or fix anything, except the person who says they were my person point (and 100% ensure that my machine is a not ship without Energy Star compliance...)   Well...  Maybe the Tech Department are all the RockStars and everything will be Fine. Other than the relatively small omission of a disk, cables and energy star, OMG Wow its GREAT. The best research machine EVER! NOW, I just have to hope is not not a MANNEQUIN PROC PORT and 8 additional dummy DDR4 ports!  LOLOL (they don't put much more metal on a false port!)  I'm so tempted to look under the hood of protection proc to see if there is a badge or million.  (Maybe when I do a video Unboxing 3D tonight later, I'll do it!) OH Yes, I'll do a video UNBOXING to prove that it is amazing how and to help people in a situation like mine (for love or money) is not found on a SINGLE FACT REAL on this MEGA-MACHINE before, during or after the command!  All my * life I have always corrected and help tech departments and not once I don't call any Department tech, I was helped before so I can understand the problem myself and teach THEM the fix (no not that none of them ever ready attention or he wrote LOL) BUT I have NO experience with DELL technicians so far (as I just got my Service Code on my machine)?) so I quite keep out hope and suspend judgment (of course).  Maybe they are the very cool tech guys who are proud to be uber-nerds (like me!) and technicians and in love with their line of the professional tools like today already Fine am!  WHAT A MACHINE! Thanks to those who have tried to help. its perfection!  maritime transport (it is out of LAND anyway?)   I was so counting on him to come next year and I would have the time to make sure that they solve these problems, I've had with the selection of what I wanted in this control system crazy automated online that indicates what you can and can't buy (?)  and then the lack of assistance order placed on the 'tech' cat, which wasn't all that too...  Saying: I wasn't buying a computer at home (her sitting on my BED right away in its box) and they can not help me even if the offer 'click for instant help' dialogue popped up ON the order of T7910 page to halfway through ordering process. Any all this good things.   I can say that it is the best machine I've ever seen.  Surely, they want to go to the final. 01% more in order to make what I have planned and called for!

Hi Robert3d,

I am pleased to hear that the system has so far been to the height to your expectations.

Good luck with the new PC!

  • Laboratory VSAN with pizzaboxes with two bays?

    Hello

I'm slightly older R300 servers Dell that I want to use a laboratory VSAN. Arrange it in two locations of drive and a RAID controller and I want to know if it is possible to use these for such a facility. I plan on keeping a 1 TB SAS drive in a slot and using a smaller SSD in the other, this configuration in a JBOD mode (in other words, doubt the controller supports true JBOD, so guess it'll be 'RAID-0 disk'). As I understand, ESXi must reside somewhere else, then maybe a USB pen drive?

    Is this possible?

    Thank you

    To?

are there requirements on the size of the hdd/ssd?

Yes, you need SSD of at least 10% of the size of the HARD disk drives in your disk group. Let's say that your have 1 TB HDD to add in a disk group, to support you need at least 100 GB SSD or more.

How much space do I need for the root/ESXi?

8 GB should be enough. If it is USB flash storage, smaller will do. because there will be zero persistent created by default.

    Hi, Steve.

My suggestion, because you do not know your exact model laptop, is to run the tool to scan the Crucial memory and it should tell you how your PC can take memory and how fast. I'm assuming that PC2-5300, based on your processor. PC2-6400 also works if it's cheaper to buy.  It will just downclock at low speed 667 MHz.

  • Clips on a shoot with two cameras

I'm was scheduled to begin shooting a film in a few days, which will involve my F55 and an F5 as second camera. For installation, there will be a PMW-200 as the third camera. Just called me to say the naming convention clip that they wish to use for both cameras, and I just got the eggy conversation where I explain that this is not possible right now. The firmware was updated. To come. Blah blah.

The cameras will be time synchronized jam.

I wonder if someone has suggestions for how unambiguous and easily differentiate between the two cameras. The ideal would be to change the clip naming, perhaps in the content browser, but I don't see a way to do this.

Thanks for this Leon. Clip browser it and let the wrangler data to worry about this. We are actually recording to SxS rather raw, so I hope that with my setup enough vanilla and a very little bit of tweaking things must be upward. I intend to shoot mechiers at the head of each location.

200 gets specific coverage for a scene so I'm not too worried about the match up there; This choice of camera was production and dictated by the budget.

Speaking with the customer we discussed lockits, but decided to digislate and frequentish jams. Years ago, I came across a problem with a specific batch of Digibetas that has blurred the timecode so continually fed an external signal. It was salvagable to the end, but headache than the left lingers as well with the other weaknesses that I'm getting used to this camera and after having heard about free delivery issues, others have mentioned I thought it is better to let the lockits this time!

I am in England so shoot 25 p. So far, I used the camera with the crossing record, in part because of talk of free running jumps (possibly a message by you). What was your rate when you have had free delivery issues and you have noticed with firmware 1.13?

  • Wreath with two C40 x 4 cameras

    Hi all

    I wonder if I can connect in series with two 4 x cameras(CTS-PHD-1080P4XS) for C40, TC5.x.

Is it possible to not do that by buying cable (CAB-VCDC - 6.5 M =) Garland?

    I checked "precisionhd_1080p - 720p_camera_user_guide.pdf", but there was no description on 4 x cameras for C40.

(I found some descriptions on PrecisionHDMC 1080p4x here, but they must be 4 x cameras only for C20)

    I guess it's possible because 1080 p 12 x cameras that can in Garland, have same physical interface devices to 4 x 1080 p for C40.

    Best regards

    Hello

I just want to wear to your knowledge this old 4 X cmaera has the same port as 12 X camera; However the use of software RJ45 is block 4 x camera so all in Garland 4 x camera will be last camera because only the RJ11 port will work.

I lost the Windows Professional disc that came with the computer. I get a pop up requires me to insert the disc 3 of which I don't have the installation disc. Even if I try to do a system restore I need the disk. I can't lose information that is on the computer and do not have an external drive. What should I do?

There is no disc 3 of Windows XP Professional.  Windows XP (other Media Center if I remember well) was a CD.

Please copy the message down verbatim - including the title bar - and who post here.

You can move this pop-up window on the side and also do all the following - in the order given anything of it periodically, you're already doing...

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

Do a house cleaning and the dust of this hard drive:

You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:

Windows XP should take between 4.5 and 9 GB * with * an Office suite, editing Photo software, alternative Internet browser (s), various Internet plugins and a host of other things installed.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

Thank you in advance for you help.

With the help of a PC HP HPE h8 - 1360t, monitor HP w2007, Win 7 and I am very grateful!

Thank you for the updated information.  Unfortunately, I can't say that the OEM version will allow the adapter VGA to add or not.  I have found no information about this issue and I don't have access to a review and provide a precise answer.  If someone has done this, feel free to chime.

About the add-in VGA, remember that the back plate will have a slot for him as well. Personally, I do not recommend physically modding any component due to the concern about security.  You might want to consider the limited warranty.

The big problem, as you will encounter, but most computers use DVI - D.  VGA is purely analog and DVI - D is only digital.  Most PCs now use DVI - D, which will not work with a simple DVI - VGA adapter.  The converters that would a DVI - D to work with VGA are generally expensive (even more than a DVI KVM switch).  There are DVI - D to VGA adapters that work, but they are rare and usually not specified.   It'll be cheaper to start with a DVI - D to VGA (provided that the DVI port is DVI - D).  This claims to be a DVI - D to VGA.  Base don this siteand the image, the adapter doesn't seem to be an adapter DVI - D dual link would work.  However, some reviewed said that he is in reality a DVI - I adapter that would work for this scenario unless the video card's DVI - I instead.

The following options would be to use a KVM DVI switch or upgrade the monitor.  From my research, it seems that he had options in two similar categories in the price.
