  To answer your questions. All programs installed no the shop such as DVD/CD and downloads, you have done will be all deleted and a list of these will be placed on your desktop. Your pictures, videos, personal, music is preserved. Updated all the drivers will need to be reinstalled. That being said, you should always back up any personal items you don't want to lose, because everything happens.   Updated to ff 4.0 and the refreshment of the button is missing, it used to be next to the back button.

  the button refresh is now tiny, on the right end of the "Awesome Bar", as in, the bar where you type stuff. It is also the 'stop' button, when a page loads.

  Yes, maybe the thermal compound must be renewed if you already cleaned your laptop. After that, everything should work normally.

  I do not recommend to do a bios upgrade if your system works well. If the upgrade process go wrong your mobile doesn t boot more, and then you will need to contact
  TASP (Toshiba authorized service provider).

  Well, I finally fixed the update service OR so it can operate successfully on W7 (see here!)

  The installer tells me it

  Cannot install

  • DN 2.0 installer x 86 (Incompatible with the 64-bit platform).

  Well that's puzzling!

  Windows Vista and Windows 7 64 bit are the two only 64-bit operating systems that support us and delivered both with .NET 2.0 is already installed.  Therefore, the .NET 2.0 framework included with Update Service NOT only supports 32-bit operating systems. We agree that this message should be removed from the summary for users of 64-bit screen in future versions avoid confusion.  Thanks for the comments.

  Yes, you will need to submit a new application of updates after reinstall. However some later updates are in fact replaced by later that the results can be more effective. I also download and manually apply service packs on new construction as allows me to apply the setting "nobackup.

  On the last one I made after that the SPs, I had a little less than 100 updates to apply to the wide then came running clean disk with the option to clean the system files to delete history of update files.
