• CS5.5 just started but the video does not play in the preview

  I just got a new (for me) Panasonic AC130P camera for my work / Office and recorded a few simple test shots.

  All the videos have been taken in MTS format / AVCHD 1920 x 1080 (1.0).

  When I put them in my sandbox, then click on it, the small preview on top box does not move and audio only comes through. When I click and drag it to the preview box, it only plays audio. I messed around with the output icon to see if I can get something, but all I get are waveforms etc to work, not the actual video, I shot.

  I am perhaps felt old scool (worked with a lot of DV, SVHS, etc., but never digital HD, it's my first time) for a large number of the HD parameters are really new to me. Am I missing something here?

  I have the feeling that it has to do with the video / map graphic, but all the world experienced this before? Any advice would be helpful. Thank you!

  What is the number and the date of your driver installed nVidia video?

  Y at - it a newer version of this card and your operating system, on the nVidia website? If so, I would like to download and install the most recent, and then test.

  I'm working on an interactive PDF in InDesign with an integrated mp4 video. When I export the pdf file the video only plays in adobe reader, but not in the preview. I have also uploaded to google reader send to people, but the video won't play on either google reader. Is this a problem with the way I am than incorporation/export interactive PDF, or is it a problem of compatibility with preview and google drive?

  If the file is downloaded by someone who do not have adobe reader, how can I make sure that the file will open in adobe reader for them?

  There are hundreds of PDF readers. Most of them only show only simple files and fail with interactivity, or a PDF document for special as uses prepress. As Bob said, only readers that you can be sure are Adobe Reader and Acrobat. Tell your visitors to download the FREE Adobe Reader to get the best viewing experience and provide a link to Adobe Reader.
