Since the last installment of Firefox, my sites have what look like the Japanese symbols or Korean along the upper part located above the tabs - is something known about it?
Everything on the site is in English. However, along the top, slightly above the tabs is a stream of Japanese symbols. These are somewhat intermittent and go away for a while after I rebooted. They come back.
Does anyone else have this problem. Thanks for any advice.
Hello xanadu3, other concerned users related to the question of the extension of Advisor to mcafee site - please try to disable or remove that in case you have now.

When I opened a second tab in Firefox, it won't go to my homepage. Instead, it goes to a page that shows what looks like a collection of pages (or links) that I visited in the recent past or distant. I rather go to my homepage, which is much more useful for me. I tried to change that in 'Options', but without success. Please fix this.
- Type of topic: config in the address bar and press ENTER.
- Press the big button to ignore the warning.
- In the search bar, paste browser.newtab.url
- In the search results, double-click browser.newtab.url and set its value to any desired URL. If you want the Firefox home page by default, you would set the value to Subject: Home
-
About: config is the parameter "network. IDN.blacklist_chars' that contains what looks like garbage graphics characters.
It's a bit weird - as it is corrupt.
Is this normal?
Thank you!
Good to know.

In one of the inDesign tutorials instructor pulls up what looks like an application bar that contains among other things a text editor to cut and paste the copy into the inDesign project. That is a feature of inDesign, and how is it accessible?
The instructor used the App Switcher on Mac to switch to a text editor and copy this text editor text. InDesign is not the active application.

what looks like the directory "line"?
Hello
I'm confused as to what look like entries in a directory of online. Oracle docs say:
"This part of the data block contains information on the real lines in the block (including addresses for each line in the area of data lines)."
The address here means the DBA or the rowid?
In addition, what else this product contains?
Thank youOracleGuy777 wrote:
Large. To summarize(1) rowid is really a logical construction is calculated on the fly. It is not stored anywhere (but if we wanted to, we could store as an additional column in the data in the column).
Fix.
AND, it can be stored in different internal locations when it is used to quickly point to a speecific location. For example, it is stored in an index to point to the line for which the index of data exists.
>
(2) each line in a block of data has an id to identify it, and this id is stored in the header of line (this will be just to say it's the nth line).
Fundamentally correct.
(If line directory is an array of fixed-size buildings, why not just use the "(série de numéro-1) ' * construct_size ' to get there instead of store an ID?. - but why worry?")
(3) the row contains a table mapping offset how bytes, each line is at the beginning of the block.
Once again, basically correct.
If I'm still not OK, I'm going to jump off a bridge! ;)
Don't, don't. Who will ask these difficult questions - which do not need the OS information (but could use Oracle version qualification) - to keep me entertained while I wait for Support of MyOracle response (s)? (And Jonathan of the give a reason to correct me, still :-)))

When a new tab is opened, it is filled with white cells that resemble the browser history. Each white box like a PIN in an icon grey at the top left and X into an icon grey at the top right. The bottom has a white bar indicating the name of the site, like "google calendar".
New tab Page is a new feature in Firefox. You have not asked a question however. Here is some information on the new tab Page:

I have tried disabling all my Add-ons, but it does make a difference. I ran chrome alongside Firefox and you can open all the tabs very well, and I can look at Firefox turn just the icon of treatment and never load. I can hit the tab reload a bunch of times and sometimes part of the page is displayed. If I hit the tab refresh then its treatment sometimes it will bring to the top of the page.
One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.
See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

I get the following message;
This application has requested the execution to terminate in an unusual way. For more information, contact the application support team.
The program is Firefox.exe when I click ok, it closes the program. When I reopen it the program, he'll either pages that closed or I get a "embarrassed" I want to start new session or restore. I can say that I get the error when I see the tab start acting like it's the download. I'm becoming frustrated, because I tried a lot of different proposals.

My upload site does not look like the preview
I used the model 398 of nature to make a new website (using DreamWeaver). Everything was going well until I downloaded the files on the server. Here's the overview:
Here's what it looks like now that I have uploaded to the server:
Any suggestion would be appreciated!
When you define a Site in DW, you keep all the files of your site in a local root folder. When you download on your server, you move the content of the root of your local to the root folder of the server.
In fact, apart from a few possible "server only" files/folders (like the cgi - bin folder, for example), your local site and the remote site directory structure must match exactly.
So, if you have your .css files in a folder called css that is located on the same directory level remote your page index.html locally, the .css files must also be found in a folder css on the same remote directory as index.html page level.

How can I get rid of what looks like a soccer ball on the screen?
When I move the cursor upwards or downwards, a small icon that looks like a soccer ball that appears on the screen and its function is to scroll the screen at lightning speed. It brings me to tears. How can I get rid of him?
I'm terribly sorry. This problem was not the work of Windows, but it is rather a problem of Mozilla Firefox. The small circle with a dot in the middle (it looks like a ball of soccer at first glance) is because of the "scroll" of Firefox feature. If you are in a browser window and you move the wheel mouse this little circle appears and before you can blink, you are at the top or bottom of the page. Very annoying.
In any case, for those who have this problem: in the Firefox browser, click on tools, Options, advanced options, and under navigation, clear "use autoscrolling".

I click on the sign in link and enter my username and password and it appears in the process, but I'm not logged in. It does not give me the error messages. Guys I want to go back to Firefox 5.0, because all new versions have been shit. I'm really tired of the upgrade once a week to see that something new is done. If you can't take the time to actually fix something, PLEASE don't make me your pig to India.
Google broke their extension of Google toolbar around 17/09/2011, by changing the address of connection to their 'accounts'. If you want to continue to use the Google toolbar and you will need to change to the new address, because I doubt if Google will fix this extension - they decided to not support the versions of Firefox 5 + with a new version of the Google toolbar.
- Open your profile folder.
https://support.Mozilla.com/en-us/KB/profiles#w_how-do-i-find-my-profile
- With closed Firefox, open the folder \extensions\ in your profile folder, then find this folder and open it.
{3112ca9c-de6d-4884-a869-9855de68056c}
- Then, you will need to open the \lib\ folder to view the file toolbar.js . Open this file in a simple text editing program.
- Change all occurrences of www.google.com/accounts accounts.google.com - using the Search in the text editor feature - (I counted 15 times address in the file toolbar.js) .
- Save the modified file. Then launch Firefox.
- Open your profile folder.

Installed IE8, but visited sites see my browser like IE6 or below
Is there some files IE more alumni that should be deleted so that the sites I visit will see that I'm running the current IE8? I just reinstalled IE8 and all the updates this morning.
What happened twice today on various sites; a private company, and; a government site.
Thanks in advance for your help :)
Hmmm... (he said, scratching his head...)
Here's another place where to look:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
Note that this is the * by user * version of one of the last entries I suggested (instead ofHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ). If you see anything targeting MSIE 6.0 here, kill him.
In addition, I think that the next thing is to check if your UserAgent really is the likely cause of the problem (containing several strings version MSIE).
There are several sites on the ' net who will echo your UserAgent string to you to see what it sends. Visit one of these sites and post what your UserAgent sent here. Two of these sites is http://show-ip.net or http://www.useragentstring.com. Doesn't really matter. I'm going to think you have some of your duplicate UserAgent that could well be the result of a bug in the installer of IE8 * or * the unfortunate by-product of some tool antivirus / antimalware.
I would be interested by what sends your UserAgent.
You could also do a "hard reset" IE by taking a glance at the article here
