mySQL real server test server

Hi all

I am aware of most of the people in this forum, it will be a simple question and very amateur, but im still pretty new for mySQL databases in Dreamweaver and connections etc.

IV work on a site of e-commerce for several weeks and now it is ready to be downloaded and tested on its direct internet server, I have a domain with a database set up, I exported the SQL database in a word document and imported into the server for the database tables and forms generated in the new server etc..

I've updated my site setup Dreamweaver so that it now points to the FTP where I download the pages and files as I usually do with websites non-base of data and that they have downloaded successfully. Where I am confused is to say my connection to now turn to the internet database, rather than the test server on my computer

I would have guessed to change the database connection in the "Databases" Panel and entering in the new information, even when you enter new data, he finds nothing, but I feel I might have entered the wrong information such that it returns with an error. Whereas before information was

Server name: localhost

user name: root

password:

I feel im trying to enter the wrong information, if anyone can clarify what details I need to enter to make my connection point to my live database rather than my local server

Thank you very much

Andy

Do not rely on the database Wizard in Dreamweaver to update your connection file. When you create a recordset in Dreamweaver for the first time Dreamweaver creates a folder connection with a connection inside .php file. This file is referenced at the beginning of the dynamic pages to connect to the database. Locate the connection file that Dreamweaver created for you, and change the settings there. Download the saved file to the same location on your server and you should be good to go.

    Hi all

I want to do a PHP Flex project and use the cool interface that it generates by default as described here http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/flex_php_03.html

But the problem is that almost every author or your blog, I found on Google or Bing is not a solution for the configuration of your PHP server if its located remotely. I tried all possible combinations in the web root and root url and I give up.

I am running PHP 5.0 + and PHP/MySQL is installed on a linux machine remotely.

    Hello

The problem is that the DCD Flashbuilder for php must have the write privileges on the web server, often enough vpn is not good enough either because it only allows access to some parts of the server and very rarely will someone be freely write access to the space they need. Generally, you set up a test server that was then all write privileges that you need.

a-) you have software developer not aware of data on a server.

b-) you test the software on a live server.

So any way that you look at a test server is necessary if his is remote (not really remote as most organizations have test as part of their infrastructure servers) or its local.

If your organization has not implemented a test server, they must be or you end up with the server on the local computer. Sometimes a customer will put in place the test servers, but once again the required access is usually not what will be so, you're back to square one for development.

While all what you need to really develop structures of data base that will be used in the direct environment and is not a big problem to copy on a local server or simply copy a database on a test server, either local or remote.

  • Keystone Kops to the test center... Real world Test candidate experience

Had to sit the old 1z1 - 117 tuning sql beta 10:30 today... little ut review whirlpool got a lot abreast on the subjects.

Anyway got the old bus beyond the battle of minden, in the Test Center on the 2nd floor... about a mile east of the old town of dalek... Although wikipedia seems not know that!

... Problem: the test center seems all locked up.

.... At least there's someone else there also... He used before and he knows its on the 2nd floor.

.... There is a test Pearson VIEW center on the 4th floor... only does car apprentice pilot things or something... but he gives a contract to Pearson view number and says 2nd floor nowt to do with him.

... but it gives a form of Contact of view Peason is optimal.

But back to the stage 2... It is a phone number on the door... then we it sounds... it says that invigulator is sick that the review has been postponed at 13:30 (thanks for letting me know!).

So I resisted the Wetherspoon and opted for pantry Becky.

Triggered the incident 2045511662 with Pearson view that this really isn't on (luckily I had order number with me!). . Do a (beta) review between 13:30-16:30 after preping for 10:30, I'll be off peak.

    ......

In any case receives a call from the GUY 11:50, saying it is on the way... so makes me feel better and that Pearson had communicated with him.

    .....

13:25 arrives anyway, me and the other guys in the middle of trial... its still locked. He gives me his number as he wished to goto A.S.D.A. (wal-mart yanks) so I'll call her if it opens... but it is delayed by elevator having a pappy and goes doors opening - doors close... several times... and nice test center man then turned upward...

In any case the man recording us in (photocopy worst agreement I have ever seen... I actually do rad these... only I do)... takes us into the test room, is me in front of the camera by the server... I smiled... and waits... and waits.

Well it seems that the server of Stab City computers 830 is blue screening. Really, it won't start. He wants to give the blue screen of death. On several occasions. He wants to fix the OS Gates... Well good blue screens again. Ecc memory is up and down. The other candidate is called to help... but he aint going to get up even with V - stuffed in every port. I guess reinstalling the ram might help... but I think it's a recycling work. Too bad it wasn't youtubed.

    ......

    Finally, everything is abandoned.

    .....

Well, given another number of Pearson view and rings... said to ring back and postponed to the next working day... that is to say Monday. I ask for the incident, but he refused and indicates that it is necessary to sort on Monday. Hmmmm. I could have sat twickers but MOM theres the issue of traffic on the ground at B-ingo... etc.

    .....

Well, I'm on the price of tickets for the test in addition to the lost day Center. So I'm not impressed. Still, I'm looking forward to organizing a reschedule Monday for my SQL tuning. That said many samples centres will not open outside the school College dates, probably because the support is a little more difficult.

    .....

Upward revising for subjects to review was helpful... even if I mostly used the book Lewis picked up on my desk and scummered and went on 11 GR 2 thoughly performance tuning documentation much more.

    ....

Moral course of history. Bring 2 x 1 GB DDR2 ECC ram in the test center where their server is sick!

It's there, you just need to look around for it (and probably do some reading).

    Things like
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e16540/dbr_capture.htm#CACICAAC
    "
Capture the workload that only one can be carried out at any time. If you have an Oracle Real Application Clusters (Oracle RAC) configuration, workload capture is performed for all of the database. To allow a clean state before you begin to capture the workload, all instances must be restarted.
    "

    and

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e16540/dbr_replay.htm#CHDBCADJ
    "
For Oracle Real Application Clusters (Oracle RAC) databases, you can map all the connection strings to a load balancer connection string. This is particularly useful if the number of nodes on the Replay system is different from the capture system. Alternatively, if you want to run the workload to specific instances, you can use the services or explicitly specify the instance identifier in remapped connection strings.

    See you soon,.

  • Advice for the real world test device

I keep running into problems of developing applications of BB where my code works perfectly well on all simulators, but as soon as I do the direct product of dozens of reports to be "unable to connect" is from (or another bug) flood from a random set of devices (the last wave is of Tower owners on Sprint and of course the app works fine on the tower for the Sprint Simulator using the same operating system) I am not able to go out and buy a Blackberry for all models on the carrier, and the labor to do these tests is beyond what my company can manage anyway.

I'm looking for is advice of some experienced developers.  What do you do to get around this?  How do you verify that your code will run on real devices?  When you get hit by a real single bug, how to solve it?

    Thank you

    Agree with Simon.

deviceAnywhere is one that comes to mind, there are at least another company that was in the penultimate a DevCon, but I don't remember his name.

Each new customer has a new experience with networking and you slowly build your code to handle the case.  Have to say that we are lucky, because we mainly deal with businesses, so use BES connections for most.  And the United Kingdom, there are only 5 carriers, so it is easy to code a quick test and determine what APN settings to use for each.

Debug object, a method I would recommend is to write your own journal and provide your users with an easy way to email it to you.  Indeed, offer to send when you know you have a problem.

    Pavel,

The answer to this would be a step becaue the RAT tool, is it only 11.1 from. So you can replay the workload of another host running at 11.1 and change, you would use a box of test running with 10 g. I don't think that any group of patches makes this tool available in the version back who is there for a newer version, as in your case 11.1.

    Hello

I'm kinda a noob in PHP/MySQL and I can't get my MySQL database to work on my remote server (it works on my local server).

    On the spot, I have:

    Connection name: local

    MySQL server: localhost

    User name: root

    Password: root

    Database: wbgt

    From a distance, I have:

    Created a database to help:

username: wbgt (although it displays it as "web100-wbgt")

    password: root

I also imported the MySQL database on the remote server.

When I try to access any page that uses the MySQL database, it comes in white!

    Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help

Thank you! I got confused that it was not connect to the remote server.

If someone else is in a similar situation as I was.

    I use heartinternet.co.uk

    1. export your local MySQL database
    2. create a MySQL database on your remote web hosting provider
    3. go to manage (or something similar) and import the MySQL database on your web hosting provider remotely
    4. in dreamweaver go to database data, +, MySQL connection Panel (or change your original database)
    5. Connection name - what you want
    6. MySQL - Localhost Server
    7. User name - whatever your remote site named the database in my case, I entered admin, but the user name is admin-web100-8
    8. Password - password for your remote database
    9. Database - go in manage your databases click on database and on the left side you should see the name of your database. in my case it was web100-admin-8 new (I couldn't connect on the ddatabase distance so I had to enter manually)
    10. Click fact put and it should work!
  • HPDM: HPDM replace self signed SSL certificates for server HDPM and master repository

I am trying to replace the automatically generated self-signed certificates (issued to DM) issued by DM server HDPM and master repository.  I'm NOT arbitration FTPS, HTTPS embedded HPDM or CERT Thin Client Agent server.

I already have CERT for the installation of our own internal domain CA for FTPS in IIS and the built-in Apache HTTPS server.  These work properly and pass tests of repository for both protocols.  I also have questions for Thin Clients of our internal CA very well.

I am interested in the HPDM real server cert and cert master repository. These are generated automatically when the two services start.  They use a very weak MD5 hash and key RSA 1024.  I can't find any documentation around that, with the exception of troubleshooting, in which you can remove these certificates restart services and they will be regenerated.

    Here are the paths certs\key
HPDM % install Path%\MasterRepositoryController\Controller.crt (Cert repository)

HPDM % install Path%\MasterRepositoryController\Controller.key (repository key)

HPDM % install Path%\MasterRepositoryController\Client.crt (HPDM Server Cert)

HPDM % install Path%\Server\Bin\hpdmskey.keystore (Both HPDM server and repository Certs and keys) (not sure what format it is in.  It is not PEM and P12 ok I can say)

There are also some HPDM % install Path%\Server\bin\hpdmcert.key.  Don't know what it is.  It's the key to the server HPDM but deleting it does nothing and it is never re auto generated in one of my tests.

I am able to replace the Controller.crt and keys with my own files CA internal those emitted very well.  The service started and no errors occur.  However if I replace the Client.cert (HPDM Server Cert) with my own service will start but there are Socket SSL errors in repository logs and the HPDM server could not connect to the master repository. I have no idea where the key file is supposed to be for HPDM Server Cert.

Can anyone help with this?  I can't find the configuration files for the service to generate their own certificates.  If I did I would try at least to change the config to do not use MD5.

    Hello

These certiricates between HPDM server and MRC are not designed for customizable. Please submite one scenario if you have concerns of security on it.

    Just for info:

hpdmcert. Key is for communication between the server HPDM and gateway HPDM

hpdmskey.keystore is for communication between the server HPDM and MRC

server_keystore is for the commhucation between HPDM server and the Console HPDM

  • How to clean WInSXS folder was updated without having to install on Server 2008 diskcleanup

My question is possible to manually remove updates without installing diskcleanup on my 2008 R2 Windows server or any other server.  The reason is that they said that install diskcleanup causes the disk compression so I need to find alternative solutions to clean up the disk space.  I recently downloaded TreeSize Pro (freeware) on my Windows 7 computer to test.  The program works well by showing you which files are used, but it seems the Winsxs folder is a good place to start, or maybe it isn't.  I just basically want to delete files on another server of companies without users calling to complain that they lack shortcuts etcs and need a place to start.

Also is there a way to run speaker program via web or you must have something running on the real server?

  • NATting a server

I have a Nat problem that is confounding me.

Today, in our lab, I have a video server that is on the subnet 10.16. 42.91/26

This subnet is managed by a L3 with L3 routing switch to the rest of the network.

I need this test server on a WAN access emulated to validate the performance of the Executive Office.

The WAn emulator is all set up and works fine

Now I would like to extend this slow acess outside the laboratory, so that everyone can test the slow lane of their office.

Do this, I added a 2nd router between subnet of video server and the rest of the network

    I want to NAT the 10.16.42.91 address to 10.16. .91 44,

Such as... anyone 10.16.44.91 SEO through the slow lane, and anyone using 10.16.42.91 through the GigE

The NAting router is a 881 running 15.3

Should be hide nat return traffic would be routed through the NAT router

I tried several nat configs, but remain confused.

Diagram below... Would appreciate any suggestions

    Thanks in advance

    Wes

    You need two things-

    (1) for the return shipping back to the 881 you need for NAT overload all users IPS to the 10.16.42.x on the 881 interface IP. You have the Interior facing users that makes it a lot easier if-

    access-list 101 permit ip 10.0.0.0 0.0.0.255 host 10.16.44.91

    IP nat inside source list 101 interface overload<- where="" is="" the="" one="" facing="" the="">

Note that I'm not entirely sure the exact order of treatment regarding two statements of NAT, so in the acl above where you have the 10.16.44.91 host, you might need to change it to the real server IP. Try the above first.

    (2) a NAT for server-

source 10.16.42.91 IP NAT outside static 10.16.44.91 netmask 255.255.255.255

Edit - I'm assuing you have already assigned 'ip nat inside' to the interface on the 881 to users and the 'ip nat outside' on the interface to the server.

    Hello

You have changed the source IP address of the order I suggested?

There is no reason to use the 192.168.1.1 IP address as the source of this command "packet - trace" that the source will NEVER be this IP address, because it is a private IP not routable on the public Internet.

Then you can try with the order I suggested.

    entry Packet-trace out tcp 1.1.1.1 12345 61.186.236.4 80

I guess that the above command / test failed because you were using the real server IP address as the IP source for the test.

    Thank you

    Hello

I need to perform a test on your side, seems specific OS:

    Please go to the rental

    oracle_common\modules

There will be some jars of name 'org.objectweb.asm.attrs_1.5.3.jar' and 'org.objectweb.asm_1.5.3.jar '.

Can you just take two jar from this location to the top/Remove these files and store elsewhere.

Then restart all the servers Admin and the capture and the test scenario.  In case any questions please restore back to the top of these files.

Note: in fact at this point I don't know if this will solve the problem but I'd like to test this out of your end because it is not reproducible in our system

Can also provide you with the screenshot below at the bottom of the location, libraries:

    servers\AdminServer\tmp\.appmergegen_1439352348932\capture.ear\9lwrr6\WEB-INF\lib
