Mystery of DOORBELL - rings on my computer

Throughout an hour, a bell sounds on my computer. It is not a notice by email or associated with any program.  NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT IT?

Hi yellowstone1955,

In addition to the suggestion of Bruce Hagen , I would like to ask you a few questions:

1. you remember of any changes to your machine before the question?

2. what operating system do you use?
3. in addition, the sound engineer check it out when you get the sound. Do you see a green bar high passage downstairs when the bell rings door?
In the meantime, follow these methods and check if they help:

I suspect that there could be a third-party software conflict causing the issue to occur, which is why, I suggest you put your machine in a State to clean up the bootand see if the problem still occurs. A clean boot procedure eliminates software a.

    Hello Derek,.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

Did you hardware or software to your computer recently?

    MSXML 4.0 SP2 applies to Windows 7

To do this, follow these steps:

    a. Locate the executable file for the driver installation program.

    b. right click on the file and then click Properties.

    c. in the PackageName Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.

  • After restart of the mysterious, not the personal files and windows returned to the original version

I tried various recovery tools to fix this and have come to terms with the loss of almost all of my files.  However, my hard drive always think they are there and not free space.  Any suggestions?

This looks like a factory restore was performed.  How is a mystery.  Is what kind of computer?
Y at - it by chance a C: file \Windows.old?   If so, watch Windows.old\Users\%Username% for files.

If this isn't the case - you can run chkdsk /f since you say disk space seems to be in use to see if it goes to the top of any other file system error.  If nothing of other works and you are sure that there is space missing, I would try to look at the drive outside Windows (by a bootable OS or the connection to another computer) in which case a kit root to cache files, a thought which is quite a long shot.

  • Should which airport device I use to extend the WiFi in my house

I bought RING.COM for my house.  The signal is very week between my router and the doorbell Ring.com. Support RING.COM says I need an extension of WiFi but I do not understand what airport will be the trick in my house.  My router is in the rear basement of my house and the Bell is at the front of the House.

Thank you!! I hope someone can help.

Unfortunately, Apple products are designed to extend other Apple products... so it is highly unlikely that an Apple AirPort base station would be able to extend wireless any network except a product by another router from Apple.

You have a router from Apple at the moment?  If so, what model do you have?

If you don't have a router from Apple now, so what is the number of brand and model of your router?

  • Delayed PAP2T numbering

    My configuration:

    SIP/VOIP software: 3CX V7

    Server: Windows 2008 server + IIS7

    Phones: Linksys SPA941, Gigaset 301D

    Gateway: Linksys SPA-3102 & Fritzbox 7170

    ATA for Bell: Linksys PAP2T

    Gigabit network

I installed a PAP2T on my system of Porter Street, which is in fact an analogue phone, dialing a number when you press the button. Porter Street itself is kind of slow before he began to compose, but since I was the PAP2T to connect it to my 3CX box it takes way too long. The factor is 3 blocks away when it starts ringing in the House

When the doorbell rings the number of SIP ring group, it takes about 10 seconds or more before it starts to sound in the House (all SIP). I tried with a normal pone on the anti-terrorism Act, and I get the same deadline. Calling the ring of a system group SIp takes a fraction of a second.

The delay is obviously in the PAP2T.

PAP2T has the latest firmware. Y at - it a setting or a way to do this, go faster?

Secondly, when I ended the call and hang up, the intercom sounds for a while, which seems a normal sound when the other side closes the connection, but after about 10 seconds, it turns into one his beeper much more strong and alarming.

Who continues to go on for 15 seconds before coming back on 'hung up' State.

What is the second "alarm" and how to adjust the ATA to disconnect quicke/better?

    Suggestions welcome!

    Bastiaan

PS just see a strange element in the PAP2T information screen: "call 1 State: invalid ' (see below) what happens after the disconnection of the SIP system.

    Full name: Porter Street

    Hook status: Off

Last entry to the: 02/02/2003 17:14:37

    Waiting message: No.

    Last number called: 802

    SIP port is mapped:

    Call 1 State: invalid

2 State call: Dial idle 1

    Tone: SIT 1

    Hello

I think I can help you with the delay of the original composition.

Instead of dialing 802, programm "your doorbell" to dial # 802 (Yes, eight-zero-two-hash) sequence.

or change the PAP2T dial plan to include the sequence like 8xxS0 or 80xS0... to make sure that any

starting with 8 or 80 number will be dialed immediately after the 3rd digit.

I don't know what to do with the "alarming sound", but I think that it is generated by PAP2T himself.

And I see that TONE is in State "Tone: SIT 1 '... I have never see that...

Sounds to me like your Mermaid... perhaps the SIP protocol was not followed correctly?

Check the settings of the PAP2T, if there is any possibility of 'program' to SIT 1 tone and reprogram.

In my SPA-1001, I under the REGIONAL section to SIT 1 to 4 If SIT while SIT 1 reads like this:

    985@-16,1428@-16,1777@-16;20(.380/0/1,.380/0/2,.380/0/3,0/4/0)

-Reprogramming or deletion - my change the sound of the siren.

The reason why the siren sounds is command probably something invalid received SIP

This method should help this problem, but it could be material and not repairable by the software.

    1. right click the icon of speaker near right lower clock - peripheral of reading

Highlight speakers - properties (right same low page) - tab improvements - check Disable all sound effects
    Apply - OK

    2. check the configuration - Device Manager - sound, video and game controller

Note name and complete model of the audio device - full decription - now double click it.
Driver tab - notice the driver version. Then click on set to update driver (maybe nothing like MS is far

Now go to system Maker and look for the updated drivers (or get the same if no new) it will be

Then do the same for the manufacturer of the device (like Realtek or who made the device).

  • Simple upgrade question (hah!)

Thanks to all who have posted elsewhere on the total absence of Adobe readers! Now, I don't think so dumb because I couldn't find anything whatsoever on their site!

My wife machine running XP SP3 and Reader version 7.1.0 installed. She refused the upgrade to 8. everything which (on my advice), and now it seems she has abandoned the path to upgrade completely. She is happier when I ring completely his computer trying to install updates , so I thought I'd ask advice here.

I do not trust that the last available from Adobe (version 10.1.1) competently installation version allows to uninstall the current version, and if not uninstall it properly, I know that there may be problems. Should I go ahead and uninstall version 7.1.0 and approach 10.1.1 installation as a new installation? Or is the 10.1.1 installer will look for (and need) the presence of the previous version? I read some other nightmare discussions need to install a chain of upgrade in order to get the current level of more...

    Thank you

    GB

    Hi GB,

You can use simple 10.1.1 Reader Installer http://get.adobe.com/reader/ to install Reader 10.1.1 avaialable. The installer will automatically uninstall Reader 7.1.0 system and replace it with the latest version of Adobe Reader.

You don't need to uninstall Reader 7.1.0 manually, prior to installing Reader 10.1.1 on your system.

  • Slowdown of the mysterious computer/Firefox? NEED TO ANSWER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IN-GAME COLLEGE CLASSROOM WORK

At approximately 11:55 this morning (7 February), I noticed that Firefox takes an abnormally long time to finish loading a page. I used CCleaner and anti-virus software to see if a virus might have been a part of it, or if my computer needed a good cleaning. Which was no help at all, and the sites (including Google) take a long time to load. I tried to turn on/off my computer, and it was no help either.

I made the point that there was an update of FireFox, so I tried. Nothing. Nothing at all.

Unlike my problem with Java, I really NEED my sites to load completely (as in, the small rotating wheel to stop turning). Without it, I can't access the forums where I post my work in CLASS in COLLEGE.

I don't know if there is a problem with my computer or Firefox itself. It baffles me because until then, my internet and computer had been working fine and dandy and I had not added or deleted anything. In addition, my antivirus software is up-to-date.

In short, what the hell is going on and how to fix it? Please do not use technical terms, because I'm very bad in deciphering these. Also, please give instructions on how to solve this problem, if anyone knows how it can be fixed.

NEED A REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, BECAUSE IT IS IMPORTANT TO DO THE JOB IN THE CLASSROOM.

EDIT: I checked if IE worked as it should, and it was. It's downright FAST, same. Yet, I prefer Firefox, once again, how can I solve this problem?

The reset Firefox feature can solve a lot of problems in restaurant Firefox to its factory default condition while saving your vital information.
