N7010 hangs at the end of 8 gb RAM upgrade

I have a laptop Inspiron N7010 (about 3 years) which came with 4 GB of RAM. I want to move to 8 GB. I have tried 3 different brands of memory

including memory Dell. I ran the test expanded memory (memory Dell does not miss). I have the exact memory Dell support number

gave me. In all cases, after installing 8 GB of RAM, the start-up of the laptop, then at some point will just shutdown (power off, just like you).

The system information of the Panel shows that all 8 GB is recognized.

I searched and installed all of the bios, chip and updates of dell.

Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?

My problem is solved.  I'm now 8 GB (4 GB + 4 GB) of RAM work in my Inspiron N7010.  I carefully tested and used in the course of a day, so I am sure that it works.  Knowing that my FSB running at 1 066 MHz, I made sure I ordered the memory which was held also at the same speed.  I am glad that I did, as Tom Heafey, who appears in this thread there is three years.

I ordered two archmemory.com AM85180 memory cards in St. Louis.  Each of them is a 4 GB, 1066 MHz, DDR3-1066 PC3-8500, 1.5 V, card memory 204 pins SODIMM.   It wasn't first recommendation Ark of memory, but I insisted on 1066 MHz memory.  They can now change their memory recommended on their Web page for the Inspiron N7010, based on this experience.

There may be other memory cards that can operate at multiple speeds that could run on this computer, but it is a proposal for a chance to try to find them.  Sellers of memory seem to have no idea of what works in this case!  On the other hand, these memory cards are optimized for this computer.  As a result, they have worked the first time.

This converts the Audio in 32-bit floating point for editing and also generates the file PEK (waveform display).     Hello, I'm having a problem installing a clean installation of Windows Vista Home Basic on Acer laptop from my friend.

    For starters, my friend got a red anti virus that has destroyed more or less its windows.  After doing a restore of the system for the first available date, the virus had disappeared, but Windows kept asking me how to open simple things like Internet Explorer and various other programs, which means that the OS is unusable.  My friend gave me permission to format the drive and I reinstalled Vista with a DVD of my I had to leave one of my PC, but I used the CD key on the laptop.  The installation went well, I went on my desktop PC and downloaded all the drivers for his laptop (Aspire 5516), and then installed a sound card driver and an update of the BIOs.  After updating the BIOs, the laptop starts again.  I tried to do a system restore but it had no restore points, then because I just started, I thought a quick format wouldn't hurt.
    This is where things went wrong.  I tried to reinstall Vista again, but it keeps hanging on the part "complete installation."  I tried three times so far and it always crashes at the same exact part, and now I have no idea what to do.
    Any suggestion or help would be appreciated, thanks.

    The copy of Vista, I use came from my college that I got for free to be in a computer SCIENCE major.  This isn't a particular manufacturer.

    EDIT: I apologize for not to say that from the beginning.  It is never used because I already had 7 at this time.
    In any case, I changed my BIOs native IDE or something of the sort, and I have Vista start.  I'm in shock, but I guess that when I flashed the BIOs, it's turned back on it to the wrong setting or something.  That's all I can think about.

  • CS5 hangs at the end of encoding

    I've been using first CS5 for months without problem, media encoder, but now I met a problem:

    I have a 2 hour video that I'm coding for a .m2v to put on a DVD in Encore. However, at the end of encoding, when the estimated time remaining is only one or two seconds, SOUL essentially freezes. It never ends the work.

    If I close my SOUL out, the video appears in the folder, but shows that it is only about 1.5 hours of time instead of 2. When I import it into Encore, it is 2 hours, but then freezes when I Isaiah to compile the DVD.

    None of this has ever happened before, but it seems to go back to the SOUL. This project has been works very well with SOUL far - everything I've done has been recently cut a few minutes of the video. Windows installs fine, the problem seems to occur when I try to update the video driver.     Check to see if the latest firmware is installed in your SSD with Transcend, and then try to install all the available updates for the Lenovo system, except the video driver, and then Microsoft via Windows Update, which can offer a different driver.  Does make a difference?

    Because your computer has been manufacturer Sept 2011, there Legacy BIOS.  The latest vBIOS UEFI was initiated at the HP units at end of 2012.  That said, either you stay with a Legacy BIOS GPU card, or choose a dual hybrid card BIOS.  The GTX 660, or GTX 670, all of which are two high-end of the legacy card would be far superior to the GTX 750Ti.   All the current hype is looking for a lower quality card, the 750Ti, based on the more low power and some GTX offering a BIOS hybrid via Select manufacturer. The Asus could not be hybrids, as you can testify.
