  For EPMA so usually you would highlight your dimension, in the Properties window, select the category of the system, update of the dimension alias, click on save, deploy.

  In dimension Dimension library and application library name is CC_Entity, in the Planning & Essbase is the name of the entity dimension. Application has been deployed recently. Why the size are not the same (the children of the dimension are the same) name? How can this be repaired? This could be a reason why BR validate against the planning application, but not against Essbase (it's in the Calc Manager)?

  Select the name of the Dimension system property. For example, CC_entity. See if the Alias of the entity Dimension. The dimension in planning is the Alias "Dimension".

  If you use the Canon Camera Window DC utility, you will need to click on the gear (Preferences) icon in the upper right. After that opens, select the tab settings of the file and check the appropriate under the section element to create subfolder. For the format that you want, the first option should be fine.

  As you created the application it should be no problem, the edition names, it is common to change the year to years to DTS.

  So I couldn't do 'Manu' or "mahesh tyagi" as the column name.

  The column name is "mahesh tyagi" is simply displayed it shortened to sqlplus due to the known values in the column length.

  In the table of date, mdb, do a right click, create a new logical column, call it as year, choose derived from existing columns using expression... here, select the date column, check the pane on the left for the function MONTHNAME and YEAR. You should be able to do.

  I was not sure where to ask this question, but has been achieved here after speaking with a Microsoft Customer Service representative.

  -E-mail is registered via Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail. I'm still not sure.
  I was curious if it would be possible to find a similar email to name email that I have mentioned, and I am sure that I prove that I own the account in security issues, etc.
  During the time that I did this e-mail, I was about 13 or younger. I don't save anything, and I regret it, because I was at an immature age. The longest period, it has been since I visited this e-mail could be 2008 or earlier. Most likely created during 2006-2007.

  Just to let you know, part of the hierarchy of the dimension entity has been marked as invalid for the main Type of Plan. So that's what was causing the error.

• Day of the month Dimension or is there another way?

  I was asked to create a cube that contains data at the granularity of a day. For example, the daily sales. However, Essbase does not allow duplicate member names. I built temporarily an additional dimension of day of the month to allow the loading of the data, but the presentation to users is a little awkward using Smart View in Excel as they expected data rollup by date. Anyone is attacked in a similar project? Thank you.

  I would not create a dimension of day. I did several cubes 'daily' in my career. A good question to ask yourself is "turning back is really important daily detail?" For each project every day that I did, this response is in the ballpark of two or three months... and no more. So what I did was to create a rolling cube of two months (or three) with separate daily details (put in the alias and refreshing dates by load rules then roll to a new month.) This cube balances with the same two months in the full year monthly retail only cubes. I did my first one before there was the partitioning or @XREF so now you have options to connect these cubes. Even if you load the monthly cube full year directly, it might be interesting to create a "related" partition so that users can jump from the current month or the month before, for example, in the year cube full in the daily details expanded in the daily cube.

  If it turns out a full year of daily detail is necessary (although I doubt it is the need in an OLAP model given the possibilities for extracting relational retail uses the EIA or Essbase Studio depending on your version), then ASO would be my choice to handle the extra volume. Otherwise, I'm talking about BSO. I hope you find it useful.

  Sorry if I confused things a bit...
  I wanted to say in the MDB layer, you can model a dimension table (time) with the path complete drill (year-> quarter-> month-> day-> hour-> Min)
  This a logical table would have two sources of logical table to map required fields of your two tables of phyiscal (Date_Dim and Time_Dim)
  You must define the levels of content accordingly for each logical table source, so the user in responses can perfectly break of the year all the way up to Min, their sound a single dimension, actually its two tables and the BI server switches according to the levels of content in the LTS.
