  I'm developing an AIR application that opens a SWF compiled in .exe (projector), I've also compiled a .app since the same swf.

  Using the AIR 2.0 native process API I am able to open the .exe on windows, but when I try to open the .app on Mac it displays the following error:

  You can't just refer to the .app on Mac at launch, you need naviguer navigate in the application package, locate the actual executable file and run that. For example:

  To start iTunes, you can use: /Applications/iTunes.app/Contents/MacOS/iTunes

  Hi Jixian, the native client MAC does not work. The IPSEC VPN client is the same as the 5.x Cisco VPN client is not supported on this device.

  Your alternatives are to use PPTP or a 3rd party IPsec client such as ipsecuritas.

  Hi guys,.

  I recently installed it all above named mentioned HP printer software but for some reason, I can't Scan for compatible computer.

  I need to work in order to scan a batch of documents and consolidate in 1 file.

  The native application of the Mac scanner handles scan page by page and saves it on my desk. but I really need the batch option to work.

  I followed all the standard procedures to reinstall the software, resets etc, but I'm still having the problem.

  Under the HP utility screen, I have the scan to computer option on the bottom of the menu. I click on that and extract information. Then I get this message as well as the red dot

  "The HP software required for the Scan of the computer could not be located on this computer. Please download and install the latest HP recommended software for your device to http://www.hp.com/supportand then try again. »

  I made sure all the software is installed and I still have the same question.

  I can connect to the printer and scan of the web also. I just seems to be a problem with the HP utility App and the printer.

  Any advice would be appreciated.

• Using the Mac OS vs dictionary add dictionary for spelling in Firefox

  I have a series of questions related to the dictionary of the BONE and up the definitions of words and spelling. With Safari, I could use command +: to activate the spell checker and loved using it. I have the spell checker works with FireFox via preferences/Advanced/Check my spelling as I type and as the better alternative. I suppose I could get used to the method using FireFox, but do not understand why cmd: can not too much work. I even went through system preferences and added as a keyboard shortcut for Firefox without success. I'm not "see anything in the drop using that - the combination of keys so what blocks?" Another important feature that does not work is that I can't click on a Word to look up the definition. This is an important feature and I use it often. Because of these, I stopped using firefox and continue to use Safari, even if Safari does not work for a primary site I visit. Safari is also usually slow and crashes constantly causing me a lot of grief. If the problems that I wrote everything worked I would not use Safari again and commit to using Firefox. I would be grateful to know how to do what I'm doing. Thank you

  I use Firefox on a MAC OSX 10.7.5 20.0. I use an add-on called "Look Up In Dictionary" works perfectly. It evokes the native MAC dictionary as in Safari.

  To my knowledge the Toshiba 3.5 "3 TB USB 3 to HARD drive supports the file format NTFS (for the support of the Windows system).

  I guess you must re - format the HARD drive to the system of files HFS + for Mac compatibility

• Mac programs show recent "bad" items

  First of all, thank you for reading my question!

  I have difficulties to access the "recent items" when right click on native Mac programs (for example, a clip, Pages, Quicktime, etc.). The programs demonstrate quite recent items, but these "recent items" days. The documents that I opened/saved/closed earlier in the day are not on the list.

  I already checked system Pref--> Gen--> recent items and confirmed that it is set to above zero.

  Any ideas why ALL programs would act this way? I even checked the date and time to confirm that the computer is not thinking at the wrong time.

  I have a MacBook Pro and use CRM software called "Daylite. It offers CalDav - / CardDav-synchronization of contacts and calendar and provides a server address internal (with Daylite user name and password) for the synchronization of data with "any external application." So far so good.

  I bought the Z10 because she has native Mac OS x Server - / CalDav support on board. So I filled the Z10 login data (address of the Daylite server on my machine, the user name, password) but synchronization fails each time, saying: "server not found". I tried via Bluetooth, USB, and my W - Lan. Nothing has worked. I also checked the address server etc. No luck.

  I had a problem quite similar (but with a provider of different servers), in any case, I searched the web and literature extensively and found the implementation of blackberries CardAV is very limited and only works on specific providers correctl. So I guess that you are in a similar situation, and your server vendor is simply 'not supported '.

  I have resovled this by installing an application called ContactSync on the device of BB (simply searching for Mac OS x Server or the name of apps BlackBerry World), the app seems to be more flexible then the native BlackBerry implementation. However, it worked and I got my contacts on the device and can sync it. Later, I had a problem similar with CalDAV, but tried the interafe BB that only once did not work - once again and instead of searching and tweaking for hours - againa - I installed an application from the same supplier that contactsync comes directly (called CalendarSync). CalDAV worked with him out of the box (with the first try!), so I'm happy.

  just upgraded to a 8800 with a 9000 and I see no end of questions

  I try to sync my 9000 to my macbook using the missing sync, the 8800 t - it no problem just plug-and-play.

  When I try to do with the 9000 the lack of synchronization screen, the battery symbol indicates the load for about 2 seconds and then it comes down to just showing the battery symbol that the phone is not connected to the load.

  When I try to sync the phone missing sync returns an error indicating that the phone is not connected, in the finder, the phone does not appear as a drive.

  So far, I did a soft reset on the 9000, out the battery and restarted.

  I have reset and restarted the Mac.

  I checked to see that I have the latest version of the missing sync software

  everything seems to be in order, but can anyone come up with any other suggestions, I slowly come to the conclusion that the phone is down

  Missing Sync does not work with the "BOLD", even though they say that they "support"... all they do is opening tickets error for all the world and indicating that they cannot understand it. At most, you might be able to get your calendars and tasks synchronization and notes if you only use MarkSpace notes. Nothing doesn't sync properly to the Entourage from, so only use your applications native mac. Contacts are damaged. Sync once and never sync them again - will erase your office contacts.

  If you are using a Macbook (late 2008), Macbook Pro or macbook Air, there is NO support synchronization at this time for Missing Sync and the BB "BOLD". Lack of precise timing are aware of this, they have no estimates for an update.

  If you get no link at all - try to open Missing Sync first, then connect. Try a different USB port. Try to uninstall your old version of MS, and reinstall a new copy after a restart of your computer.

  See the other thread for suggestions and advice. People are displayed the same questions without reading the other, and now we have 3 of them. There is one that is two pages with ideas and experiences of others.

  Do you mean you're under CS2 on OS X 10.8.5?

  It is not possible in a native Mac environment (unless you use the Windows of Parallels or Bootcamp on Mac version)...

  CS2 is a PowerPC application designed to run on Mac computers with PowerPC processors. When Apple has switched to processors Intel, Apple briefly provided a translator called "Rosetta" to run the applications on Macs PowerPC to Intel processors.

  Rosetta was not understood or supported since OS X 10.7 "Lion". If (including CS2) PowerPC applications does not work on OS X 10.7 go.

  If you wanted that you upgraded to mac os x 10.9 Mavericks or any version of os x newer than snow leopard 10.6, then photoshop cs2 will work on your mac more.

  Photoshop cs2 requires either a mac PowerPC or intel mac os x with Rosetta (PowerPC emulator), was which leopard snow, but most recent Mac os x versions don't have Rosetta so PowerPC applications will not work.

  You need to buy photoshop cs6 or subscribe to the creative cloud to get photoshop cc 2015, which are both applications native mac intel.
