  Firefox keeps opeing where I left instead to start with my home page. I use the latest firefox with windows8. Dosen't happen with windows7. This has happened with the last update.

  I see that this problem is widespread, but some of the 'easy' patches are for computer geeks only.   I think that Firefox should address this personally, since it's their update that we screwed everything. Supposedly, updates are supposed to make us 'ready to take advantage of the latest speed, flexibility and security. Yes, good. How to fix this bug, Firefox? Instead of making your users solve problems for you. This is ridiculous.

  If no one can help me to solve this problem without having to get a degree in computer science, can someone tell me how to get rid of the update total? I'll take my chances of NOT being "ready to enjoy the last speed, flexibility and security.

  I'm sorry for the frustration, but it's just simply unacceptable. We shouldn't have go through it whenever we update. Thanks for any help!

  When I open a new tab, I want to open it with my home page. Currently, I have to click on the Home icon to go to my home page. The first tab opens on my home page but not extra.

  There used to be a drop-down list on the back button, and I think that the forward stop button, too, so that I could jump to the previous page without paging a descendant both. Find my story now and clicking on a page are much slower.

  You can have AN index page at the root of the server at a time.  You must remove the unwanted (php). When you do, your index.html page will go up.

  I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

  Uninstall, and then restore the desktop gadgets. Follow the steps to uninstall the gadgets.

  a. right click on the empty area of the desktop and then click Gadgets.

  b. right-click on the gadget and then click Uninstall.

  Steps to restore the Google desktop gadgets:

  a. click Startand then click Control Panel.

  (b) in the search box, type Restore the Gadgets.

  c. click Restore gadgets installed with Windows Office

  By the way... in case you meant a separate new window (Ctrl + n) instead of a new tab in the same window (Ctrl + t), which should follow the setting of your home page. No need to go in: config for this. See:

  Add-ons can also override this setting, then see my comments on this in the previous answer if Firefox is ignorant of your homepage when you open a new window.

  I want to be able to have the homepage as a visible tab that when I visit other sites that I can leave these sites open while I jump to the home page, without having to leave the site when I get home.   One possibility would be to pin the tab with the home page via the context menu of this tab, so it appears as the first tab and make sure that you open links in a new tab.
  
  You can use Ctrl + 1 to go to the first tab and use the context menu to close all other tabs if you want to open the tab of the home page and get rid of other tabs.

  When I left click on the back instead of the browser navigation back button, I go almost every time to get the list of previous browsing history or it will just doing nothing until I click on the new button. The history of combination of button "return" rather than a separate between the historical click of the buttons box is the problem. Combined with my arthritic fingers of aging that is. If I was as fast as I used to be I guess it wouldn't be a problem. I liked the separate history area. This action combination navigation / buttons story scenario is problematic. I'm fairly certain that if I find it quite disturbing to bring to your attention that there are others (old beards) in the same boat I am.

• Mobile side.  Using the drop down of your video.  I once put some text on the Mobile page the Menu drops down, but behind the image.  When I remove the text box the menu works correctly.  This also happens with a HTML code placed to Paypal.

  Please check layers panel and put in place the menu item in the list, you can use the layers panel and move up or attempt to move the content.

  I just installed a Belkin modem-router - which went well. Can I connect WiFi gadgets etc. I can also connect to the internet via a network cable to my pc. I also installed a belkin usb wireless adapter and in Device Manager, says it is enabled and works.

  My problem is, I have no way of choice get a WiFi PC to display in the list (from the notification area) and cannot get the pc to give me options to create a wi - fi connection. The more I get to try to do that is "unexpected error"!

  If someone could help on this - I would be very grateful

  Good news - update of my ongoing saga with this Belkin modem/router.

  Got the pc to see wi - fi now. It turned out to be the Zone Alarm! As the router has a firewall, I uninstalled Zone Alarm completely. Also, I went into the properties of belkin usb and checked it was the most recent drivers, it does not so I installed them.

  So far so good
