Hi gram,.

Somewhere here in another forum thread I have read on the same problem but I m not 100% sure what the solution is...

To remove the PowerSaver, you could try the tool nice freeware CCleaner. It can clean and repair the registry and uninstall all software. Just ask Google to find.

If you have any other questions, you're welcome in the forum! :)

  • "File not found" error message when you save the document

    Hello

Oddly enough, whenever I click on 'save' in CS6, it opens a window "save under", (which shouldn't happen), then I click on save witht the existing file name (he said then the doc exist already), I click on OK, (and then on OK to the next popup window) do get the message "file not found".  I have to click on 'ok' and the document is not saved.  I tried to register differently in previous versions, and it still does not work.  I recorded a video of this behavior. You can see here - http://screencast.com/t/W1GYK0zsrk

Help, please!  I can't stop my station until I get the document to save.

Barblove - I tried to do that yesterday (copy and paste into a new doc) and still nothing. I also tried to copy the work in a CS3 doc (but got an error message).

Service Pack 2 offered by Windows (automatic) update yet?

Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 service Pack is not available for installation from Windows Update and automatic updates does not offer

    Cause
This problem can occur for different reasons. However, the following reasons are the most common:

    • Already, you have the service pack installed and do not realize it.
    • You must install another update before you install the service pack.
    • You have not installed Service Pack 1 (SP1) and so you are not offered the option to install the Service Pack 2 (SP2). SP2 requires that you have installed SP1.
    • Components of the system that you must have to install the service pack are not installed on your computer.
    • You have a piece of hardware or software on your computer that is listed in the section "hardware and software which if present will result in Windows Update and automatic updates offers is not a service pack " article.
    • You have installed a preliminary version of a service pack, and it was not properly uninstalled before that you tried to install the final version of the service pack

I get an Error Message When you try to send emails. "some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please see the list of errors below for more details".

But it sends the message anyway... multiple copies, and she also is put in the "Outbox" in Outlook Express as if it is not sent.

    Thanks for any help.

You have a corruption of dbx file easily corrected.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

    Hello Greg,.

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

You did any hardware or software changes to your computer before the show.

Thank you for details on the question and your efforts to resolve.

This problem may occur because of the corrupted Windows files or incorrect registry settings.

To diagnose the problem, check if the problem occurs in safe mode.
    Refer to this article:
Start your computer in safe mode
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=Windows-7

Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.

Please refer to the suggestions of Mr Andersen replied on September 4, 2010 and check the problem with folders.
    https://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-files/renaming-folders-causes-item-not-found-error-in/e2cf38c7-9e77-4256-89DE-6308df53d5f9

Note: Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/back-up-registry#1TC=Windows-7

    I hope this information helps.

Please let us know if you need more help.

    Hey R29,.

Start by downloading the full package of driver from here: HP Officejet full feature and driver software

If you have recently downloaded this driver package, you may be able to skip this step. If you have problems with the steps below and impossible to find a directory, you must re-download the driver pack and launch the exe.

    1. disconnect the USB from the computer printer.

    2. now, go to start > run > and type folder

    3. search for any record label hp_web_release or 7z

4 inside of this folder, navigate to the 'util' directory > directory 'ccc '.

    5. in there, run Uninstaller_L1 through L4 in order.

    6. check Add/Remove programs in the control panel for additional HP programs that have not been deleted and delete.

7 remove the HP or Hewlett-Packard directory in Program Files.

8 Goto Program Files > common files and remove the HP or Hewlett-Packard directory there as well.

    9. Select start > run and type "temp". inside this folder, delete all the files.

    10. Select start > run and type "%temp%". inside this folder, delete all the files.

    11. now restart and reinstall the driver using the driver from the web.

Let me know if that solves the problem.

    Thank you!

    Sean

  • I get this new error message when you change the properties of generation for an installer in LV2011sp1. - anyone know what it is?

I built this front Installer. But I think that this is the first time since the upgrade to SP1. Now when I look at just the proerties for Installer build (I have yet to change), I get this error message when I hit the OK button.

If I select No., it just stops. If I select YES, it seems to go ok. But I have not tried to build a new installer again.

    Anyone know what it is?

Photo of the message is attached.

I find it always useful to publish at least part of the error in your post, while others in the future may seek and find the answer.

I think that you will be able to correct the error by clicking on the option of additional installers on the left pane, and then click OK to save the build.

You probably asked to point the installer on some files that were missing since the upgrade.  I think that this occurs when the version of something on your computer changes, but the installer doesn't seem to know other installers until you visit the dialog box.  It would be brutal trying to replicate, but I met the same problem before.

    Hi Andre G.

    1. why you try to uninstall the hotfix?
    2. How do you try to uninstall the hotfix?

I would like you to follow the steps mentioned below.

    Step 1:

    a. Click Start, in the search box type "view installed updates"
    b. Select the update you want to uninstall and click on uninstall.

    Step 2:

If this is not successful, turn on your computer in a clean boot State, and then try to uninstall the installed update. There may be a conflict of third party software. Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

Have a user who was the bluescreen with no error message when she arrives in the morning. This doesn't always happen.  But when it does, it must do a hard boot of his computer. It runs XP SP3, and it is on a domain. Another user reports what is happening also, but not as often.
