neccasary startup programs in windows xp

I need to know what programs can I remove file windows XP Starter home and which ones I have to keep running!

Thank you

The ones you need to have and those you devriez have is two different stories altogether!

There are six critical services of the system, Windows XP needs these services to start and run porperly.  These essential services cannot be killed, killing these processes would end at the session of Windows:

-Csrss.exe (Client/Server Runtime Server Subsystem)
-Lsass.exe (Local Security Authority Subsystem Service)
-Smss.exe (Session Manager Subsystem)
-RpcSs (Remote Procedure Call Server Service) *.
-Winlogon.exe (Windows logon process)
-services.exe (Windows service controller)

* Runs inside one of the SvcHost.exe.  RpcSs is not critical in its own right and strictly talking Windows XP can function without it, but almost nothing runs without it.

Here are the 6 critical processes of NT, without these things 6 elements don't work too well!  At the same time, the task manager would show:

-System (kernel or kernel mode threads)
-System Idle Process (not a process or service, but a single thread running on each processor, its sole task is to account for CPU idle time or the time spent doing nothing).

There you have it, 8 minimum elements that should always show in the Task Manager, or add the Task Manager to the list and it will give you 9 process.

    Crikey!

You people are things made and actions 'hard '!

With "how manage/remove programs startup in Windows 7?",...

Everything I've ever done is to find the startup program (in the "All programs" list, have a good overview of what is there, then, VERY SIMPLY, remove those I don't want to open at startup.)

When THIS is done, the program (s), I have DELETED does NOT start.

    At the start, never!

    Period!

And, it's 'how' I get rid of them. I have this same title... in the "All programs" list, in any case!

Stick to the MsConfig - Startup tab in a 1st time, but start in programs and features when cleaning. You don't need to worry about something in the boot if you can remove the program anyway.

Many have their program of customer Participation and the consumables installation order plated on by default, but for the majority of users, as they are not necessary. This utility, which has a knowledge of auto-starting locations of any startup monitor, shows you what programs configured to run at system startup or login and that the entries in the order of processing windows. These programs include those in your startup folder, Run, RunOnce, and other registry keys. You can configure Autoruns to show other locations, including Explorer shell, toolbar extensions, helper objects to the browser, Winlogon notifications, auto and many start-up services even more. • How to change the order of startup programs in Windows 7

I read that two threads on this or that give an adequate response.

The question is simple. Is it possible to change the order of the start up programs in win 7. Possible answers "YES" or «»

    If YES how are you?

If no why not?  And is there a third party software to do?

I have a startup where a program/process support before another program/process which it depends so I have the first program does not start.

    I need to change that.

So if it is not possible to change to uninstall both and then reinstall in order they need to charge to fix it?

Possible but not easy.  You can create a scheduled task that runs when the connection that launches first app one then call a second scheduled task, which starts the second.  (scheduled Research task) I would give the exact steps but am not on a win 7 atm machine.

  • Disabling services not microsoft and startup programs for Windows Vista

I have Windows Vista on my laptop and for some reason some difficulties to install updates for Microsoft Office 2007 security. I got a microsoft support shadow person my computer and fix the problem for me. The problem is that I have to disable all non-microsoft services and first start a number of issues on my computer and I can't remember how he disabled them.

In the Start Menu search box type "run" without the quotes. In the run box type "msconfig" without the quotes. When open the System Configuration utility, click the Services tab, check the box that says "hide all Microsoft services". When Microsoft services are hidden, clear the check boxes next to the other services. Click apply and then click OK, close the System Configuration utility and restart your computer. After installing the security updates restart if necessary, and then restart the System Configuration utility, put checkmarks in the boxes unchecked, you uncheck "Hide all Microsoft services", click on apply and OK, close the System Configuration utility and restart your computer. • Blocked startup program? Application of UpdateUtil?

well, ive google search and found next to nothing.

    "Application UpdateUtil".

the name of the file is "netfxupdate.exe.

He said that the manufacturer is "microsoft", that I find it odd, given that all other microsoft programs in the system configuration menu have "microsoft corporation", as the manufacturer.

I can't find any definitive info on this program.

Ive read some comments saying its malware, ive read some telling her for the .net framework. but no official answer as to what it is.

so...  Can anyone of you thin of the folks at microsoft help me and tell me what it is and give me some clean and valid information on this subject?

    Hello

Netfxupdate.exe is a file associated with Microsoft .net framework.
You can allow the program to run on the computer.

User account control prevents programs that require permission or an administrator password from running automatically when Windows starts. If a program is blocked, you will see a message in the notification area that says that some startup need permission to run programs. You can run a blocked program, remove blocked startup programs or ignore the notification.

    To run a blocked program

1 blocked startup programs right click on the icon in the notification area.
    2. click on run blocked program, and then click the name of the program to run. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

To remove a blocked program from startup

You can remove a blocked program from startup so that it tries to run automatically whenever you start Windows. Removal of the startup program does not remove the program from your computer.

1 right-click on the icon Start blocked in the notification area programs .
    2. click Show or Remove blocked startup programs.

    Hello

Bloatware is that your system manufacturer is taking on the computer for a fee.

You can use these to control which startup programs. Many who install it themselves in
Startup is really useless to be here. As Acrobat Reader (Adobe), WinAmp Agent,.
and many other who are responsible for pieces themselves start more quickly (not a question on today)
the machines) and to be sure that they can control the files they support (to make sure you continue
just use). Those who are examples only common and not designed as a slam on those
    programs very well.

  • To start Windows tells me that it has blocked some of my startup programs.

    original title: problems with start-up

When I turn on my computer, I get a notification that windows has blocked some of my startup programs.  This problem started about two months ago and I do not understand why.

They are important elements of the registry-related programs and my anti-spyware or anti-malware for example programs.  Why this is happening and what I can do about it?

    Hi EvelynWeber,

Follow the steps listed in the article mentioned below to solve the problem:

Error message when you start a Windows Vista-based computer: "Windows has blocked some startup programs".

Last week, I used Ad-Aware, Spybot and malware to scan my computer.  They found several things, but my problems are now: computer falls down after a time of connection the first only.  The center of Support Dell continues to operate for a few minutes, I just cancel now.  "Windows has blocked some startup programs" keeps popping up in the lower left corner.  I uninstalled Spybot but do I have to uninstall the other 2?  During these changes last week, I changed too Trend-Micro (which was nothing capture) to the free version of AVG.  Help, please.  Muzictchr

  • I need help disabling programs from Windows startup

I followed the help instructions exactly to eliminate a program that opens at startup. The last step in the process was to choose the program that I wanted to stop, and then click the button 'delete '. When I chose the program, the button 'Delete' no was not available (was "faded"). Now what?

    original title: startup program

    Hello

To change the startup in Vista programs, use one of these methods:

"How to use MSCONFIG in Windows Vista"

    http://netsquirrel.com/Msconfig/msconfig_vista.html

Or the program Autoruns for FREE:

    "V11.21 Autoruns for Windows"

And a large number of programs can be stopped to start start by opening the program > tools > Options > select no not to launch at Windows startup.

  • Windows Defender - blocked startup programs

Over the past two days, whenever I connect, windows defender appears and says it blocked a commissioning program. So I open windows defender and choose "show or remove blocked startup programs" I assume that the program that is blocked is showing on the screen. How can I remove the locked channel? Remove, disable and enable buttons are gray. I don't want to run it in case it is an infected file. The file is Digital Line Detection by Avanquest Software.

    Thank you.

Here is some information about dlg.exe; http://www.processlibrary.com/directory/files/dlg.  Here's more information:http://forums.avanquestusa.com/aq/archive/index.php/t-4477.html.  As you can see, the creators of this program are known to have made Spyware in the past and that is probably why it is blocked.

How did you get this program and why do you have this program?  It seems to me that it does not offer much that you can't with programs that cause fewer problems (if necessary at all).  I checked the site web avanquest and this program is not listed: http://www.avanquest.com/.  I also checked Phone Tools of BVRP (whose dlg.exe is supposed to be a part of):http://download.cnet.com/BVRP-Mobile-Phone-Tools/3000-2349_4-93370.html , but that seemed for mobile phones and brought him back to avanquest.  I could not find any information on the product (in addition, Tools of BVRP Phone does not list itself as compatible with Vista).

If I were you, I would delete/uninstall this program.  It's not like you use (it is blocked) and you don't mention the functions you can perform you want to run, because he's not here.  Go to start / Control Panel / programs and features and see if you can find it under the names above, then right click on it and click on uninstall.

If it does not appear, go to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and run Autoruns and click all.  Search of dlg.exe or whatever it is, on one names program or product mentioned above, and when you find it uncheck the box to prevent it from start to start.  Check the entire list as there may be several entries.  When you're done, click OK and restart. Since it is no longer from the start, he should no longer need to be blocked, and I hope that will remove the message.  I would prefer if we could uninstall the program, but if it is not found, then we will have to be satisfied to prevent him from running.

This will be the no Defender removes (except if it is uninstalled) and I can't explain why the buttons are grayed (are you logged on as administrator?).  But I think that the process described above may solve the problem.  If the message still appears, then I suggest you contact Support technique Avanquesthttp://kb.avanquestusa.com/display/4/search.aspx?tab=search and ask them how to remove it and why it causes so many problems.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

Norton is a 4 AVs programs (antivirus) which will stop Windows Defender.
The reason is that Norton has its own advocate. Run 2 defenders in the same machine allows to create conflicts.
So what you notice is normal.

As for access to startup programs, defender of the window isn't the only way.

Start > in the search box, type msconfig > Enter > Startup tab > here is the list of startup programs.

To disable = uncheck the box in front.
To activate = check the box opposite.
