Need a SIM card for iPhone

Somewhere along the line, I want my iPod. My daughter had a couple of old iPhones and gave me a 4 s. I reset & authorized and trying to turn it back on it says I need a SIM card. I'll use it as a repository for my iTunes and activate not to a carrier. In any case, this can be done, or I'm a little out of luck?

Thank you

You do not necessarily have a cellular contract to activate your iPhone, but you must use a SIM card.

  • I just bought an iPhone 6 so I need a sim card of nano or a normal sim card and what is the difference and where to buy it?

    Hello

Sorry for my ignorance but I just bought an iPhone 6 (my first) and I don't know anything about the purchase of a sim card. Do you advise me to buy a nano sim or a regular sim (my iPhone 4 has a sim card from Rogers) and what is the difference?

Whoever you are, thank you for your patience and your help.

The SIM card for the iPhone 4 is much greater. You need a SIM nano. That's the only size that fits. You get one of your carrier.

You will need to ask your operator. Probably, you would hold just the SIM card you have and then enable data roaming if your carrier offers it, but they are the ones to talk to.

SIM card in iphone 5s does not

Have you ever tried troubleshooting mentioned in this article?

If you see an alert that says "Invalid SIM" or "No SIM not installed", follow these steps.

    1. Make sure you have an active plan with your carrier.
    2. Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
    3. Turn on airplane mode and then back off.
    4. Restart your iPhone.
    5. Go to settings > general > about and look for an update to the carrier settings.
    6. Remove your SIM card of the SIM card tray and then return the SIM card. Make sure that the SIM tray is closed and that it is not loose. If you use a SIM media from a different model iPhone or another phone manufacturer, it might not fit correctly.
    7. Try to use a different SIM card. If you do not have one, go to the store of retail of your operator and ask them to test it with another SIM card. You may need to replace your SIM card.

  • IPhone with SIM card for the beta update?

Hello! So I wanted to ask you is it safe to put an iPhone with a SIM card to iOS 9.3 beta. I mean I know that the beta version will be stable and stuff like that, but there will be problems with the SIM card, I mean the call using 3 G stuff. And that I'll be able to OTA update when the public release falls or do I restore? I mean I don't want to have to restore it later.

You will need to register to use the beta of iOS, and discuss the beta versions can be done here:

    ...

Is the public beta software confidential?

Yes, the public beta software is confidential information to Apple. Do not install beta software on any system you control directly, or that you share with others. Only blog, post screenshots, tweet or publicly post information about the public beta software and don't discuss the beta software public with or he show others who are not in the Apple Beta software program. ...

How to make a version of iOS on my iPhone, iPad or iPod touch?

Always save your iOS device before installing the beta software. To obtain a release of the expedition of the iOS on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, you can simply install the final version of the software you're testing when it appears in the software update. If you want to return to a previously published version, you must first delete the beta software, and then re - install the latest version of iOS and finally restore from your backup iTunes saved previously.

  • Recommendations for a sim card (unlocked iPhone 4)

Hi guys.    Yesterday, I bought an iPhone Unlocked 4 with a big scratch someone through Craigslist.     I bought it all simply because I want to use it when I travel in Thailand.     It is not the most recent and it is certainly not the prettiest, but I don't like; all I want is to be able to make and receive calls/texts when I am a foreigner (GMA).

The thing is, I want to activate now just so I can use it to take/image bank, perhaps store a few songs, maybe play some videos.     HOWEVER, when I tried to activate it, I reached a road block.     The screen says "SIM card required for activation."

As I said, I don't want to use this phone to make calls.    I already have an iPhone 5 with a service through AT & T plan.

So my question is, "buy a cheap SIM JUST to activate it and then use it for the above mentioned reasons?"

Or y at - it another way I have to take?

Thank you for your help and suggestions.

The SIM card must not be active. You have just to adapt (and the phone must be locked, come from a carrier whose phone is locked). So, if you have one that fits, you should be able to use it. AT & T can also be able to give a. Or borrow one from a friend. Once the phone is active, you can take it out.

  • Where can I get a sim card for my mini during my stay in the Canada?

I have a mini iPad and will need to get a sim card in the Canada to continue to use my iPad while there.  Anyone know where I can buy this sim card and maybe offer a good plan for my 2 months it?  Thank you!

I got mine from Bell Aliant. You can look at the Web sites for the major Canadian carriers. You should be able to see their plans and maps of coverage. Depending on where you go to the Canada, some carriers may have one better coverage than others. I chose Bell Alliant because were the carrier with the best coverage in the very rural area to which I travel. They also had a location store.

  • SIM cards for I Pads

I have an I Pad 2 and want to know how I can get it online.

If your iPad is cellular capable, then you must purchase a SIM CARD from your local cellular provider.

You will also need to purchase a monthly or yearly your wireless carrier plan.

Your iPad is also capable of WIFI so you can use it for free on the hotspots that offer free WIFI.

I have an iPad, but it is not cell-able if I use a mobile cellular device to connect via WIFI.

  • SIM card for Toshiba M400 tablet

I put a Vodacom/Vodafone SIM card into the slot at the bottom of the computer, but I don't know how to access or allow it. MOBILITY does not seem to have an option for a SIM card. The SIM card is normally used in a mobile phone or 3G data card to connect to the internet. It seems to me that this facility is integrated into the computer, there should be a program that allows me to use it.

I'd appreciate any help in this regard,

    Arnaud

If you want to use the 3G connection, the material must be enabled correctly. This means that you must activate the WLAN using the WLAN switch and set it to THE post. After doing this using FN + F8 key combination to activate the 3G device.

If you use it in Tablet (secondary portrait mode) mode 3G does not work because the antenna must not be placed near the body, but on the other side.

Do all this and check if the card is correctly activated. If so make sure that you have performed all the settings correctly.

    Bye and good luck!
