  1. In 'My Computer' (or simply 'computer' now), click on the drive and choose Properties.
  2. On the Security tab, click Advanced.
  3. On the owner tab, change the owner to be your username (you will need to search for and select your user name).
  4. Apply the new owner to "all subcontainers" (all files on the disc).
  5. Click OK until all of the settings are saved.
  6. Try to explore the disc again.

  I am running PE11 on a laptop Dell Inspiron N5110 with integrated graphic HD3000 and Nvidia GT525M graphics card. Pe11 is configured to use the integrated graphics (it doesn't seem to work at all with the GT525M).

I'm trying now reinstall on another HARD drive... and no matter if I use Win7 OEM drive or ISO Win10 disc, it tells me that the activation code is invalid. I was under the impression that, as long as the mobo (and everything else except the HARD disk) is the same, Windows will allow you to reinstall with the key?
