Intermittent Volume on Tecra A2 control

I have laptop Tecra A2.

When I got control of the volume (the material that is) has nothing, I wondered what was the point of it.

Then all of a sudden a few months later he started working, which was really great.

Now, it has stopped again. I have not the slightest idea why. I searched the manuals, controls etc etc and nothing seems to activate / deactivate.

Am I missing something or is this a mistake any.

Hello

When the control does not work, do you have any sound at all?

  • Problem with the volume on Satellite Z30 control - A

    Hello

    I have a problem with the analog output sound on my A - Z30 (internal and line/headphone speakers). If for example I play music I see a clearly weak signal volume on the fader control of volume in my Win 8.1 source volume control. But on the master fader, I get a completely saturated and distorted signal. Even down to the time source and output does not help... it just sounds horrible.

    See: link: [https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/30325547/SoundProblem.jpg] (sorry, it's a German system)

    Here we can see that the (extreme right) music player delivers a signal of low volume, while the master fader (left) receives a 100% volume distorted signal.

    If I use external speakers that connect via USB (Logitech Z305) it works perfectly.

    I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of the drivers for my sound card. But this problem is very persistent. It seems that something pulls the signal up, but I can't find any control that turns off.

    I'm not completely sure when that started, but it can be connected with the beginning of the use of a USB headset. But I already uninstalled this software once again, but that did not help as well.

    Any idea?

    Thank you very much

    Hello

    According to the specifications of the laptop and drivers available on the Toshiba driver page, this laptop supports the Realtek sound card.
    That's why the Realtek HD audio Manager software should be available in the control panel.

    Realtek HD audio Manager provides different parameters as well as the speaker of the configuration options to get the best sound performance.

    In addition, computers laptop Toshiba are preinstalled with a sound tool DTS/Soft
    This software provides audio improvements in your computer.

    To be honest, I not quite sure what which could affect your sound volume, but the mentioned tools and configuration should be checked permanently m.

    The headset works correctly because I tried with another computer.

    Hello

    Have you already checked the Realtek HD audio Manager located in the control panel?
    There are various tabs like speakers or Microphone.

    I recommend the microphone tab where you can find different parameters such as the recording level and reading level.

    You can also activate the remove noise that is also part of the mic

  • Flashing intermittent volume icon and the erratic mouse pointer.

    I have a problem with intermittent flashing volume icon, when this happens, the volume icon is maximized and apears on the screen at the same time it is found in the taskbar. The volume icon will then quickly flash and cycle between silent and this causes the volume to sizzle even if no audio signal is coming through the speakers. At the same time as this, I often get a pointing device erratic which cannot be controlled and moves all around the screen if I try to move it.

    Now for the strange bit. The volume control buttons do not allow the volume to be cut or modified when all this is happening, however if I hold my finger on the volume upwards or downwards, or the mute button this totall recuse the erratic pointer that I can then use again.

    This problem is intermittent and random. I did a complete system restore and it still occurs. I noticed one thing, it is that keys icon flashing if sytem is working hard. Howvere, sometimes it happens at all.

    I did sacans full of viruses and malware, but as I said it is still present after a full restore of the system. Im guessing it may be a hardware failure or a short circuit so probarbly will bring to a grumpy, but it would be good to have an idea of what it might be before hand so I do not be fooled.

    IM on windows xp pro on a Dell latitude D820 almost three years but otherwise a fine computer

    Thank you

    Interzona

    Hi Interzona,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2 when was the last time it was working fine?

    3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

    It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

    I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

    How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

    Reset the computer to start as usual

    When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

  • Volume is out of control (gets his "own life") - triggers ATV volume goes to the maximum or minimum in a matter of a minute.

    Hello

    I come from Apple TV.

    When turning on our ATV volume it triggers that our volume of receiver Denon drifting slowly to maximum or minimum-, it takes about 1 min to do this.

    Tried to connect directly to our Denon receiver and our Sony TV ATV. Problem happens in two configurations. I tried different options to turn off the smart controls which offers the latest HDMI - ATV standard both our TV (for example, disable the automatic volume control).

    By turning the ATV and the new (menu system) will stop the problem for awhile - but same problem returns after 1 to 5 mins.

    I spent 8 hours in the last days trying to make it work. Looks like a bug in the SW of the ATV? (i.e. Disabling smart control of ATV does not take effect).

    Desipite being impossible to use, I don't want to damage my 20K speaker system. I am close to my unit back and get a Chromecast instead.

    Any help to fix this would be appreciated!

    System: Apple TV Gen 4 + Denon AVR 2313 + Sony KDL 60w605 all the connected HDMI (and 3 other units that work very well).

    Sounds like a defective remote control.  With HDMI control off the coast, it seems possible, that the remote control is to turn off the IR signals directly to the receiver.  Try to cover the distance before or the façade.  In any case, I would return the unit.  During the test leave in the main menu and just look at the level of the volume on the receiver.  Do not play anything to avoid overload problems.

    Post your receiver model number.

  • HP 6910P has no volume bar on the control SCREEN

    Hello

    Disappeared from the screen volume control bar. The "speaker" icon is present on the taskbar. The volume control button do not work. But no bar is visible.

    The laptop is a HP 6910 P running on XP pro, cleaning of viruses and malware.

    Thanks for help

    Hi Paul and it isn't Haggis cat, Pepe.

    See this solution of Dan needing at least a Media Smart program to get the OSD volume to work. Maybe there is a new Menu MS where he works on its own and if it is, please send the link and I'll try it.

    There was a problem with the OSD menu minimizing a full-screen youtube video, but HP seems to have fixed that.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-hardware/DV8-and-HDX-series-OSD-pop-up-solution/TD-p/816295

    There is another one of Cheryl where she posts the same results that Dan, but I know that she doesn't like the OSD from HP and she always recommend 3RCVX.

    If I find it, I'll post the link here.

  • Volume on the computer controls

    I have a windows 7 and the keyboard volume controls do not work how to operate again

    * Proposed by the moderator of "Windows/Windows 7 / Windows Other apps" for "Windows / Windows 7/Hardware & drivers."

    If you try to change the volume of the keyboard, you need to talk or see the instructions that are specific to your particular keyboard model.

    I suggest that you use either the volume of your speakers or the bottom left you screen (a very small speaker).  Just click on the small speaker and drag the cursor upwards or downwards for the volume change.

  • default volume in media player control

    Hello

    I'm developing an application which have an option to play video using http I play video successfully but I can't give the player default volume control. Please can someone tell me how to give to my Player default volume control...

    Thanks in advance,

    PAPI M

    First of all, you need to get the VolumeControl of the Player object.

    VolC VolumeControl = player.getControl ("VolumeControl") (VolumeControl);

    Then put implement the KeyListener and in the KeyDown method check the Volume key.

    public boolean keyDown (keycode, int, int times)
    {
    If (volC! = null)
    {
    Touch int = Keypad.key (keycode);
    If (key is Keypad.KEY_VOLUME_UP)
    volC.setLevel (volC.getLevel () + 10);
    Else if (key == Keypad.KEY_VOLUME_DOWN)
    volC.setLevel (volC.getLevel () - 10);

    }

    }

  • Low volume PCMCIA - 5100 Satellite control

    Hi all,

    I have an important question, my PC (Satellite 5100 503) does not work correctly because the PCMCIA slot when I want to controll at low level of means Jungo drivers (writing and reading of a particular address for device Compact Flash Card space), for any other LAP TOP PC (HP), my program runs fine.
    The question is: do you know if this is a known issue and what driver or ather solutions offer you solve my problem?

    Thank you very much

    Francesco

    Hello

    In my opinion the only thing you can do is to check the BIOS settings, but I don't know if you can do it on this device. If that's not enough I don t think you will be able to control at low level with this device.

    Good bye

  • Fan on Tecra 8000 control

    Hello

    I'm worried about the operation of the cooling fan, it starts to blow at the beginning of the system for a while and recharging the battery after that it starts to blow at 82 degrees celcius! I would be more comfortable if she starts to blow at 50 degrees, is there a way to handle this?

    I installed the latest bios 9.30 trad en tried serveral operating systems, such as win 98se, win 2000 win xp en, none of them has made a difference for the operation of the coolingfan. I also tried the power given by Toshiba Utilities, they fact the crazy cpu working at 100% cpu power.

    Thanks for the support, Rick

    I found the sollution after a few days, searching the Internet, I found I program made by a person for the Toshiba running Linux machines, but he also made a fan for Windows control program. It takes the software TVALD from Toshiba to settle.

    My machine is running at a maximum of 50 degrees right now and I am very confident, I can even put the laptop on my legs ;)

  • Satellite A500 - on the screen and the volume of media keys control the normal behavior

    Hello

    On my laptop Satellite A500, I have no screen 'volume bar' when I use the media keys of volume (located between the speakers). I find this odd, like many other phones that I use (including the Toshiba) have this feature. In addition, the volume bar between the - and + media symbols of the keys never lights upward.
    Could someone please confirm that those are normal behaviour? (Note that my Fn keys, utility eco work and so on).

    Records,

    ARAMYS

    Aramys salvation,
    I don't know if this is normal (showing no volume bar on screen)
    but as I read your message just the funktion is ok...

    Maybe you need to reinstall + keys +.
    Maybe some pictures are corrupted and therefore not included...
