  Try to use Recovery Manager to reinstall your original IDT HD Audio Driver - the procedure to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

  Recovery Manager - Windows Vista

  After reinstalling, stop the laptop.  Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Let windows take over completely for a few minutes and then check if your audio works.

  Follow these steps and check if that helps:

   

  (a) put the CD ROM of Windows XP disc into the CD-ROM drive.

  (b) click Startand then click run.

  (c) type expand X: \i386\rundll32.ex_ c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe in the Open box, where X is the letter of your CD drive.

  (d) restart the computer.

  You can also try System File Checker analysis to repair missing files or damaged in Windows XP.

  I'm working on a portable 17 Pavilion with an AMD Quad-Core A10 - 5750M + Radeon 8650 G Graphics.

  I hope to get better results in the edition and so I would like to upgrade, but I don't know what room do I and can I replace it.

  I think adding double graphs, but I don't know if it's possible on this machine. Please help me in any way possible in telling me what I should and can do.

  The video is soldered on the motherboard and there is no crack to add other types of video hardware.

  There are motherboards for the Pavilion 17 who have switchable graphics double aliases, but these models use a motherboard completely different than yours. You need to replace the motherboard and the system of cooling of the laptop and you look at maybe $ 400 for parts and labor. And the best video used in double graphics is only marginally better than what you already have.

  You do not have a hard drive 5400 RPM to very large, but slow to 1 TB and video editing can benefit a little faster hard disk access. I recommend either a SSD drive or even a faster drive (7200 RPM) mechanical or hybrid car to get a faster disk access.

  Laptops used for true high-end video editing are mobile workstation usually models that have a lot more than what you can get in quality video equipment consumer laptops and they start at around $2500. HP Z-book would be an example.

  Install this driver for the Intel HD graphics card. Then install this driver for the mini-PCIe Radeon HD graphics adapter. The latter should give you the switchable graphics option in the Catalyst Control Center.

• Need help with XP, you try to restore the system to the mode safe mode with command prompt.

  XP does not start even in safe mode.  Can access the mode safe mode with command prompt. Tried to use the repeated suggestion here.  The said command is not available.

  I have problems trying to generate a PDF from an html robohelp project 7.  Whenever I try to generate a pdf I get the error "Cannot find Microsoft Word installed on your system."

  I tried to uninstall both Office (2003) and robohelp, reinstall office first, then robohelp, but that does not help.  Anyone can shed light on this issue?

  Sean had made contact with me, but I mixed this issue with the question cannot start Word.

  As for activation Office 2007-if you paid for a license extend the 60-day trial version, simply enter your key when asked to activate. If you have not purchased a full license, you should be the link for the purchase of Ms. You can also buy Office 2007 locally(probably cheaper) and just use him license key to activate your preinstalled version.
