  Hello!

  I'm starting to feel like Michael Douglas in the movie Falling Down and need help.

  History:
  Finally, I sent to my bad WRT-ngn350 router and when I got the replacement of all but the plastic leg support has been included. I want to have my router stand up to save desktop space, but now I have no foot.

  "OK, should not be difficult to get Linksys to send me the missing foot stand" was my thought. Now, I called the online RMA and also emailed them and I get a similar response as Michael Douglas took with a smile

  I hear that I can't get the part because it is not on the list the content of the product. As this is * my * problem. I want the part and do not care if it's on a list or not. It is the part on the router in the image. I even asked the representative of Linksys to Google a little bit WRT-ngn350 and there are foot stands on almost all of the images and it is certainly included in the box. I was told that I could go nowhere elsewhere to help with that. I really some doubt but fail to find a channel of Linksys, which may be able to help.

  I am trying to configure a B420 in our lab, but just discovered 6324 F / I can't stand B420s in the configuration of the UCS Mini. I've read the documentation, and it was not clear to me at the time of the order. It is only when I put together all the components (B420, 5108AC2, 6324FI) I found that it does not recognize the adapter (ie the B420) from the GUI of UCS - M. It's only later that I discovered on the incompatibility of the CCIE training online documentation.

  (2) if so, what other equipment do I need to run (FEX, F / I a, etc.)?

  All I'm looking for right now is to get the server loaded with linux. Once I get the job I'll spend more and better.

  We currently have a stand-alone series cisco C with 2012 Windows Server installed on the local disks.  We need to go this Cisco UCS server managed with a service profile, but can not lose existing data and the method of operating system boot.

  To be able to accomplish this together the local drive to 'any Configuration' policy this way UCSM won't overwrite the current raid on the server configuration.

• Service profile of the CISCO UCS for ESXi

  Do you need multiple boot LUN on the storage array for each host that you want to apply the service profile to? I'm just confused, let's say I have 12 blades that I want to designate as boot SAN for ESXi, y aura-t 12 profiles of separate service for each of them, and will need me 12 different LUNS on our storage? I am new to this and I just want to make it as clean as possible! Any help is appreciated.

  Hi Justin,

  You can have the same LUN ID for multiple service profiles, as well as the same target ID. However, your initiators will be different and you will need to configure the zoning on your switch upstream if you use the end host mode.

  Craig, I know of many clients running the Cisco USC with VMware and they are very happy. There is no known issue with vFoglight perspective. VFoglight hardware monitoring currently able to extract any platform SNMP information. If you are looking for a vFoglgith to pull information from the physical ESX servers directly (not SNMP) you will need to ask for a discussion of the roadmap with your representative local of the quest.

  Inform the product manager for the platform you are using and what you want to be monitored and displayed...

  I'm working on Cisco UCS C210 M2 servers. I got 10 146 GB SAS HD with LSI MegaRAID Raid Controller. I did run the Raid Controller and choose RAID6. After that I installed ESXi and it said to reboot the server. Now, when I restart the server I get the following error message:

  PXE - E61: Media test failure, check cable of

  PXE - M0F: Exit Boradcom PXE ROM

  Restart, and then select proper boot service

  or Insert Boot Media in some boot device and press a key

  Any suggestions how I can solve this problem.

  You will need to go into the Bios of the controller LSI MegaRaid (Ctrl + H) and select the option of virtual drives on the left. When the virtual command window opens, you must select the drive (Raid Volume) on which you want your drive master boot and underneath there will be an option to set as your boot device.   In our lab, I test with 5 VMware and Cisco UCS. We run UCSM 2.0 (1 m). I am now to test the auto hand deploy. I have auto configuration to deploy in VMware and it works (first of all, I had some problems with DHCP on windows which is solved in version 2.0 of UCSM (q)). vSphere gets deployed to the blade. When the blade (vShpere) wants to connect to vCenter I get an error of vCenter has enough licesing for this action. I loaded a lot of low-income VMware. When I create a virtual machine, it starts perfectly and apears in vCenter.

  I search on the internet for people who have the problem of the simailer, but could not find.

  This looks more like a VC related question (UCS) platform.  UCS has no effect on the functionality of licenses of the VC.

  If the host does not connect to the CR, how are you VMs to "start perfectly and appear in vCenter?

  You have a VD 11TB.

  Only way to start on this is by using UEFI.

  You need to activate UEFI in the boot order.

  Anything over 2 TB and more 4 K sector size readers require the UEFI boot option.

  BIOS will not process the VDs when manages UEFI.

  Summary for those who seek a similar question:

  • Client a large VD created, 11TB
  • 2 TB and more, 4K sector drives, require boot UEFI + GPT, cannot use the legacy/MBR
  • To set startup to local HD option, that referenced the PCI-E Slot, the raid controller was in (HBA slot in this case)
  • UEFI mode, can't score a VD as "bootable disk / startup.
  • You will see not the VD/raid controller appear in the 'real' boot order during the OS install.
  • Once the installation of the OS compatible UEFI is made, it will create a UEFI boot to the operating system "Windows Boot Manager" entry in our case.
  • After the next reboot, if you check your boot order, you should see this UEFI OS boot manager entry.

  I spent too much time on it now and need help. I'm trying to set up a voice switch VLAN on a SG300 - 28 p. I need to charge a phone Cisco 7965 connected to a port on SG300 - 28 p to use VLAN 100, and a workstation connected to the phone to use Cisco 7965 on VLAN 101 by SG300 - 28 p.   It seems that the auto attendant smartport macro ip_phone_desktop can not apply the setting $voice_vlan with a value of 100.   * This function will define the vlan native on the trunk to 101 for the data port and vlan tagged will be 101 for the voice.

  CDP is enabled automatically and should learn the features of the phone and get on the phone to the vlan 101 on this port.

  CDP of the UC should automatically fill in the switch of the SG. You may need to upgrade the switch to the latest firmware however. Also make sure that the DHCP server for the voice if the CPU must be configured accordingly.

  NAT is your problem, IE.

  NAT (inside) 0-list of access inside_outbound_nat0_acl

  presumanly first NAT is fot your good VPN that acl looks a little funny, what exactly are you doing with that?

  The second NAT is the real problem but for outgoing internet access - the NAT statement, you said not NAT one of your addresses 10.10.10.x which is a problem as 10.x.x.x address is not routable on the Internet.

  You must change this setting IE. -

  (1) remove the second NAT statement IE. "no nat (inside) 0 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0.

  (2) add a new statement of NAT - ' nat (inside) 1 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0.

  (3) add a corresponding statement global - global (outside) 1 interface.

  This will be PAT all your 10.10.10.x to external IP addresses.

  Apologies, but these are some CLI commands that I don't use PDM.

• Need help to see an alarm for an AP story/event

  I need help to see an alarm last occurred about two months ago, here's the information:

  I had a point to access Cisco 1524 down has a location around the week of April 15.  This access point is in a very remote place and is very rarely used so I did not have to examine the problem until about a month later.  It turns out that the Cat5 cable was damaged in an act of vandalism and the AP returned to the top after I solved the problem of cable.

  An investigation is underway and I wish I could say the detective the exact moment wherever the AP first reported down to the WCS.  I know that the alarm was there as I just never took the time to record the date and time.

  When I go to the alarms it go far enough to see when this happened.  Is - this information stored anywhere so I can pull a report and see the date and time of the AP are down?  I have searched and searched the boat launch of the report, but for the life of me, I can't find this information.

  I have the version 6.0.132.0 of the WCS.

  WCS logs have a finite number of alarms, they can store. If the event is more listed, then he was in and there is no way to recover this message alarm to see exactly when it was generated.

  All the VLANS created will be assigned to the uplink ports. There is no option to have on the same fabric of interconnection of VLANs on an uplink and other VLANs on another. As on the side of the blade, you choose what VLAN is assigned to a blade when you create the vNIC.
