  I think that you read correctly... re-read the Workaround"" section.   I want to keep this short, as I now have serious problems.
  I have Windows 8 Pro, with each update installed.
  I was looking through the net by chance, then the messaging with a friend.
  My friend has design a logo, which he sent via Skype in a .png format.
  When I double click on the logo, the problems started. Everything has become very slow.
  The image does not open and only after 5 minutes of waiting Windows Picture Viewer began to appear.
  The strange thing is, open Windows image viewer my file .wav file music stored elsewhere, not on my desk (the photo was about all this on my desk).
  Image viewer of course could not open the music file.
  So I decided to open the Task Manager, but the error described in the title, "Taskmgr.exe - extended attributes are incompatible" error came, does not let me to open the Manager.
  This also occurs with most of my programs. I get the same error with Regedit, MSconfig and other configuration utilities, and also some programs starts, as Mumble (Murmur Server can, however).
  In fact, all system tools and, more generally, all in need of Admin privilege does not work. Some of these programs give the error message, some simply do nothing at all.
  I'm the admin user and UAC is set to the last row (no notification).
  In safe mode, everything is normal. In addition, disabling antivirus (ESET Smart Security 6) does not solve the problem.
  I followed a few articles I found, which describes the fix from my sound theme on None or default Windows Setup.
  I have, however, never changed anything with my theme, the sound was enabled by default.
  Setting the sound theme "None" did nothing, just like the definition of the theme options.

  This is a high end machine with an i7 - 3770K and a Corsair SSD ForceGS, 16 GB @ 1600 MHz RAM and a GPU GTX 670, so normally everything happens at the moment.
  The sound is the only part affected the slow opening of Chrome, Explorer, and some programs that do not work, are at the moment.

  I really want to reinstall everything, I hope that a solution to this.
  Edit 3: One of the programs, which frequently closed (I received a message '(program) stopped working' him) is the host of Console window.
  Edit 4: I have disabled all the codecs to start in safe mode, nothing has changed (an article describes install codecs Audacity caused the same problem).
  Edit 5: Now after a second attempt in SafeMode as administrator cmd, command "sfc/scannow" reported an error that the problems have been found, but could not be repaired.

However, I hope that these measures are not necessary, because they require a lot of time.

  Since the problem started happening when you tried to open the image file that has been sent to you on Skype. There might be a chance that the image file would be infected by the virus, due to which your computer is facing this problem.

  I suggest to run the Microsoft of Networking in Safe Mode Security Scanner and check to see if it helps:

  I have change the name of "ozden" to "zden', delate the German symbol 'o'.

• NEED HELP URGENT! 5.2 Lightroom runs slow on my new PC

  A few months ago, I decided to connect my laptop to a Full HD monitor so that I can hopefully get a better resolution when editing photos. I bought the monitor but BAM! It was all lagy and I realized that my laptop is not good enough to run things smoothly (although it may do so at its native resolution perfectly 720 p) so, as a student, I started to work and to invest the money to buy a computer case and use it with the monitor that I had already bought for no reason!

  So, I built my new PC recently and I put the (relatively) decent material about it but I still have the same problem

  Here are the specs of my PC:

  Windows 7 SP1 64 bit

  RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1600

  Processor: AMD FX-8320 8-core 3.5 Ghz

  MB: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. M5A97 R2.0 (Socket 942)

  Graphics card: 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series (GB)

  Hard drive: 500 GB Western Digital SATA 3

  I know that some of you will say that's not SSD, so it's slow, but I don't think that my hard drive is causing a problem. Laptop from my friend who has specifications lower than mine (a 2.5 HDD), lower map low graphics + CPU (but Intel i7) performs much better and is much smoother (is almost perfect) in the culture and the change of exposure.

  What do you think is the problem? It's shit AMD processor that is the cause, or is - this lightroom which is not compatible with my processor? What parts should I change as appropriate, or do I return everything and work with lower resolution on my laptop

  I really need help with this, because if I can't solve this problem, I have to return the PC and get refund because there will be no use for me.

• Need help Urgent - low-Qual images in inDesign

  If someone could help me quickly that would be great.

  Im trying to make a photo book in inDesign, landscape, 10 x 8.

  I scanned the negatives, they are very large files (3000 + x 2200 px + px).

  When I place it in inDesign, the image looks good on the page, until I Zoom in once and it seems awfully stretched. It is impossible that the files are too small, they're huge. Analysis of film TIFF (converted to .jpeg). I exported the inDesign file as a. PDF, but the picture still looked terrible when zoomed in. The images probably can't be too small, I don't know what to do and I'm in a panic, can someone please help?

  Try going to view-> display-> high quality screen performance. You are probably typical. Neither view is going to be a representation of the bit to bit your highres images, but at least in high quality you probably don't panic.

  You can also open your links Panel and show the link info (the small arrow below on the left hand corner of the Board, at least in InDesign CC) reassure you by looking at the actual PPI and effective PPI.

• URGENT! need help with inDesign template

  First thanks for taking the time to read this.  I found a model online for indesign to use xerox funflip paper paper with.  I worked on it for the kids birthday invitations and promised my wife we would have them done and ready to send on Monday.  Well its Saturday night and I have no idea the hell I do.  I worked on this for 2 solid days and do not really understand.  But I don't want to disappoint my wife and the just prompt would be cool.  I found the pattern on the adobe site and figure hey how bad could be...   Here's a primer of two minutes:

  To add a photo, you will use the file > Place command.... Either, you can draw a frame first using the tool frame (the rextanglebox with the X through it in the Toolbox), or you can just click with the mouse and drag the loaded cursor to draw an image on the fly (which in CS4 dimensionnera the image to fit. If you predraw the image, the image will be 100%).

  There are two arrows at the top of the Toolbox. Solid black is the selection tool and select the whole object (that is, the image and its content). The white arrow is the direct Selection tool and select the image within the frame, which you can it (drag a control handles around the edge. Hold down the SHIFT key while you do to constrain proportions) or reposition it within the frame. Select the image with the Selection tool and you can crop the image by dragging a control handle. If you hold down the Cmd + Shift while dragging you will scale the frame and content proportionately. If you need to rotate, select the image and use the arrows rotation in control at the top of the display panel. Set the rotation to occur around the center point by clciking on the central point of the power of Attorney of control on the left edge of the control panel (the spots correspond to the control handles and the center of the image).

  For text, use the text tool. Click and drag an image and type your information. If you see a little red sign in the lower right corner of the frame, there is more text that is not displayed and you need to change something.

  Of course, it's a very brief set of instructions, but I hope it will allow you to confuse your way along a start. Arrived on the back with more questions when understand you what they are.

  You can reinstall your laptop using the recovery CD. It is easier and more rapid way to reinstall the operating system, all drivers and tools. Put the recovery in DVD-ROM CD, start the laptop and press the C button. At first, there is the choice between two types of installation (Standard mode and expert mode).

  If you choose first a whole HARD drive will be formatted and used for installing the OS. With the second (expert mode), it is possible to install the OS on the first partition. It is also possible to define what the partition size should be.

  My connection setting requires '; EndToEndDesired' for HTTPS request (although it works for me without this parameter). I tested the app using deviceanywhere and after the addition of this application of the setting run perfectly.

I downloaded and installed InDesign CS6 but paragraphs orientation, the direction of character and story management functions do not appear when I turn on the universal Adobe paragraph composer. Why?   To get the version English the InDesign user interface that supports Arabic, you need to uninstall the version you have and then open the Adobe (AAM) Application Manager to install the new version. Click on your name in the upper left corner and in the context menu of the drop-down list, choose Preferences. In the Preferences dialog box, change the language to English Arabic. Proceed to install the new version.

  Hello everyone.

  I am a happy user of HP Photosmart all-in-one printer and for many years never had a problem.  I always bought new 862 cartridges and it worked fine.  Recently, a friend brought me to Singapore two new series of cartridges, but the owner of the store said this is the new higher capacity cartridges.  I said why not?  Even better, in fact since the printer is a guzzler of ink!

  This is, because I tried to install these new cartridges, I always get the message "Incompatible cartridge" after what, I can't not access the printer.

  Can someone help me solve this problem?  The cartridges are exactly the same, so I suspect its something to do with the chip?  I tried all possible methods such as the re-installation of the cartridges, remove the carriage and re-setup, cleaning the cartridge chip, etc.

  Since I'm brought this printer back from China to Europe, I really need to solve this problem otherwise I'm stuck without a printer.  These cartridges are not available locally.

  I would be grateful any advice!  Thank you.

  Your printer can use cartridges of 864. Unless you call HP and have them reset the printer to your new country, you live. Only then these cartridges can be used if you can find them on the spot. Call HP.
