  Download the installer for HP MediaSmart Photo at the link below and save it to your desktop.

  Once the download is complete, right-click on the Setup program and select "Run as Administrator" - this should first uninstall your current version of the software before installing the new version.  When this is complete, restart the laptop.

• Smart media - no icons!

  I have a tv signal, but most times I don't get all "icons" to enlarge the image or to record the image. I tried everything I can think of.   What does not work? You are not able to install the driver or the slot not reading cards?

  On the page of the Toshiba driver are placed 2-conductor. Be sure you use the right one.

  But what do you have on the laptop? Did you install the new OS? If yes then check the instruction install driver from the Toshiba page?
  I've installed several times the OS manually on my Satellite and I have always followed the instructions.

  Hold down the keyboard Windows key and press R.  In the run box, type msconfig and press ENTER.  Click on the Startup tab and see if HP MediaSmart Photo is listed here.  If this is the case, remove the tick from the box next to the entry and then click on apply to apply the change.  Restart the PC and see if that helped.

• Laptop is a Pavilion dv6-3025dx, Photo smart media opens but displays all the photos.

  When I open Windows media center all the photos that are installed on the computer are still there. They do not come and view the HP media smart program. When I go into a space that is to have a picture but it is empty, I can press on "ctrl and enter" button and image and the file opens in windows media center. I'm puzzled.   Welcome to the HP Forums!

  I understand that your HP MediaSmart software does not work properly.

  Try to uninstall then reinstall the MediaSmart Photo software to rebuild libraries from scratch. This should fix the paths of the files corrupt or metadata causing problems.

  You can download it here: HP MediaSmart Photo software. (Assuming you're on Windows 7 yet.)

  Make sure that your photos are not registered in the MediaSmart directory. If they are, move them to a safe place like images or a folder on the desktop.

  I would like to know if it works!

  Open computer and you should see a new drive letter. Can say new Drive X or X to removable disk, etc. Click on it.

IK heb bij drivers en ook het product site gedownload en opgezocht op software. Dvd player instance Maar is niet meer wat originele was.

  IK zou eigenlijk said als mogelijk is wel originele software voor mijn laptop willen downloaden.

  IK heb ook een van desktop hp en daar is op alles nog wel goed. omdat ik geen resets hoefde ITU you voeren.

  Maar bij laptop wel. IK hoop dat het reasonable is vermeldt. Verder heb ik nog een question. Waar kan ik of originele drivers vinden die ik misschien nog wel zou like naked downloaden? of is het dat ik die Roken updated avenues doe site bedrijf op na het invoeren van mijn serienummer in het vinden van laptop etc. IK wil het Roken principled is als ik alleen updates of dat originele doe drivers nog van service worden gedownload.
