  I had my Canon MX 870 for almost 4 years now and have always printed wireless. A few weeks ago my printer started to appear offline when I started my laptop and the only way I could get the printer back online was to remove the printer and reinstall the software again. Since then, every day, I have to remove the printer and reinstall the software and driver in order to use the wireless printer.

  I tried all known bugs and nothing has worked.

  I reinstalled again a few days ago, and - believe it or not - do not need to reinstall it from. I used a different, although driver after that my printer was bought in dated date. Must have had the correction in it.
  Everything seems to happen smoothly at the mo. I'll report if I have additional problems.

  I suggest that we just keep things easy and do an uninstall/reinstall the software and drivers.  Here is a link for   uninstalling the printer software.

  Once the uninstall is complete, please disable the firewall or anti virus protection so that we do not work in questions about resettlement.

  I had my Canon MP620 for about five years. I use it to print wireless from my laptop. It worked fine all the time that I got it. Recently, I tried to print from my laptop and I got a message that the printer is offline and cannot connect (Yes, the printer was on). I tried all sorts of things and the only way to print by plugging in the printer to the laptop via USB.   I would like to help you today to resolve the printer offline issues you encounter with your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer on your Windows 7 computer since installing a new router. Please follow the steps below to fix this problem.

  Step 1: Uninstall the drivers:

  Even if your printer prints first page initial well thanks to new wireless, there are chances that your drivers are not properly configured for the new network connection. I'll have to make sure that everything is installed and is successfully, you uninstall and then reinstall your drivers.

  1. Click on the Start menu
  2. Select all programs
  3. Select the HP folder
  4. Select your Printer HP Laserjet
  5. Select Uninstall

  Follow them on the instructions of the screen to complete the uninstallation of your printer. Once the uninstall is complete, proceed to the next step.

  Step 2: Remove temporary files:

  1. Click on the Start menu
  2. In the box "search programs and files" located just above to start when you click it, type %temp% , and press enter on your keyboard
  3. When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard
  4. Select "delete" on your keyboard. No real files and folders will be affected by deleting the temporary files on your computer. If one of the temporary internet files will still be used by a program on your computer you receive automatically pop up to 'jump' the question.
  5. Once you empty the Temp folder, close the file.
  6. Right click on your recycling bin on your desktop and select empty recycling bin

  Step 3: Reinstall the drivers:

  1. Please click here to download the full feature software and drivers for your printer
  2. Once the site opens click on the download at the top left button
  3. Allow the download to run when prompted
  4. Follow the prompts on the screen to reinstall your printer.
  5. After choosing the option Wireless printer should be found on your network. Select your printer and press 'Next' or 'continue' to complete the installation.

  Once the reinstallation is finished, please try again to print. Should you still be problems there are additional steps, I will have you go through. I can't wait to hear strings attached good luck!

  I had to wipe my iMac and resinstall IOS Mavericks (10.9.5).  Printer (Officejet Pro 8600, 9N11g) works, but won't scan (double-clicking icon in "original item cannot be found") and the HP utility on dock icon is absent, replaced by a "?."  I found instructions to uninstall the printer software so I can reinstall... but there is no longer any HP or "Uninstalling HP's" on my Mac HD folder.  Not there at - it a HP folder in the library/printers folders.  Research Spotlight shows no HP or Hewlett-Packard folder on my hard drive.

  I downloaded a 'HPPPrinterDrivers3.0.dmg' and ' HP-Injket-SW-OSX - Mavericks_v12.34.37.dmg, "which I'm hoping will contain updated software/drivers to reinstall the printer and I hope as the HP utility so I can resume the scan function, but I can't understand how to remove the current printing software, and I don't know if those are the files migrate to use.  I understand just remove the printer will not be enough.

  First I offers to repair disk permissions, and then try to reinstall the HP software.

  Follow the steps below to repair disk permissions:

  1. open the Applications folder.
  2. go to the Utilities folder.
  3. double-click on disk utility.
  4 Select the hard disk that contains the boot volume.
  5. go to the first aid tab and select Repair disk permissions.
  Note: This process may take several minutes depending on the Mac and the amount of the permissions that need to be repaired. The progress log shows when the process was completed.

  Once you are finished, run the HP-Injket-SW-OSX - Mavericks_v12.34.37.dmg and follow the instructions on the screen, be sure to select the option of Scanning HP when installing to get all the features of the software.

  Yes, you can have connected USB printer to the PC and wireless for the tablet. You'll need to do is initially setup the printer using the connection Wireless in the software to activate the wireless to get your network settings. Once you have installed, you can run the installation again to do an installation of the USB. You should not need an app to print from the Tablet if the printer is connected wireless. If you do, I would suggest downloaded the HP Home & Biz app.
