• Negative margins

  I'm trying do tag div with negative margins, then it could overlap with element and in order to avoid the sidebar that appear. My idea is to make a div that will contain the image that will be "glued" to the right side of the body (main div tag have fixed width and auto margins left and right, so that we can see always in centar). Problem is that when I use negative right margin, nothing happens, but when I use negative left margin is works exactly as I want (the photo is pasted on the left side, without the sidebar). Any idea?

  Do the lower-left image in the background image for the html tag, no repeat, position bottom: left.

  Do the top right image the background image for the body tag, no repetition, in the center of the position: top and give it a pretty left canvas so that the center point is aligned as desired.  Otherwise, you could add a wrapper width fixed around the page with padding on the right wide enough for this image and this image as the high background, no repeat, position: right.

  If you use Flex, it has its own parameters that may apply. Otherwise, it seems to me that what you are doing should work. I suggest you to check the values of filling on the controller itself, which would negate what is on the TextFlow. If those who are not defined, look at what you use to caress the limits of controller and make sure that it matches the sprite.

• Eliminating the top padding of a Div tag

  I'm going to build my first website, and I want to use a div to hold all my information.  At the top of my site, I want to use a graphic banner; However, I note that there is little space between the upper edge of the div and the chart.  I tried to get into the CSS rule definition to set the padding of the DIV 0, but that doesn't seem to help.  I have also created a rule for the banner itself and set the padding and margin to zero, but it also does nothing.  Out of curiosity sake, I tried the same thing with a line of text, and it worked without any problem.  So my question is, if you use an image how to eliminate the space between the image and the upper edge of the div?

  Also, my margins of the div are set to auto, so I don't know if that would be detrimental to all.

  

  Try using a negative margin-top value for the div.

  Safari and Chrome should ask you when you connect to a new location. Check the settings of Chrome under the items at the top right. Safari can be found under settings > Safari, but there is nothing on the record of the passwords explicitly. Note that, if it is a school or work iPad, record of the passwords may be disabled.
