  I'm trying to print on a printer Epson Stylus Photo R2400 connected to the Mac Mini. I tried to reinstall the printer driver. Did not work.   I ended up cleaning the flue by scraping around it with a needle, then I blew in, like blowing bubbles in your pop,

  just enough for little ink is out, cleaned and reinstalled the cartridge, then made head of PRINTING its OWN by using the interface of the printer, then using paper settings on the print page premuim, choosing the paper you loaded and it seems to be back to print black text clear for now, it wouldn't work using just the choice of plain paper

  After seeing all the problems printer with HP products, I'm not sure that I'll replace it this printer with another HP product

  I got a lexmark before and liked, it last about 5-6 years, but I don't think I can complain with what an amount of $100 can buy in the all in one printers these days

  Most often when a device does not work, it is because the driver is damaged. Re-install a new copy should help

• OfficeJet Pro 8500 a-green power supply light on-Quit printing using as a copier

  I was using the printer as a copier, placing documents on the glass and close the cover.   About 8 different documents, then the printer just quit so that, in the middle of printing a page printed.   Green power light is on, but when I push it, it is not off. Touch control panel does not respond.  Nothing seems to function.   Tried to unplug the power cord at the back, unplug the unit from the wall and disconnect the power supply cord.  Plugged everything back in after about 10 minutes to be disconnected and no help.  Green power light turns on but no function doesn't seem to work.  Have windows 7, 64 bit HP computer, but the copier function should work even if not connected to the computer.

  It seems that the firmware may have had a fatal error occurs. I'm afraid there is little you can do to solve the problem. Try the procedure described in the document below. If this does not work, you will need to replace the printer.

  solutions. I guess I learned a lesson. You asked if I tried a color image. The reason was that I couldn't believe that I was low on ink.

  It's a nice new printer and the computer, but the color cartridge was full b & w was empty. I didn't try the obvious.

  I just bought a HP Envy 5640 printer.

  It works very well, but every time I have to print a photo in Photo 1.0.1 NICU OS X 10.10.5, Photos will be leaving after that print is sent to the printer.

  The photo prints fine, but needs pictures to be restarted every time.

  Does anyone have the same problem?

  I've not seen posted here - but since you are more than a year behind in updates, bug fixes and new features, you can see a verry old bug that has been fixed many years ago for people who follow to this day - unless he ia a clue right for you m = not updated I suggest you backup and update of OS X Sierra = and Photos 2.0 - this never can solve your problem

  I'm having a problem that appears, from the info in the forum, to be fairly common...  My 6500 printer suddenly stopped printing anything black ink.  I too have gone through all the diagnostic tests and have tried to replace the cartridge, even if the screen says that it is almost full.  I really hope that someone can come up with a solution...  I've been a loyal user of the HP printer for as long as I had a computer at home, but this could be a game changer!

  @mtaylormusic - I would like to begin by troubleshooting with this document here. It will give a steps to take to try to fix a problem with print quality for your printer model. When do printhead cleaning be sure to make the different levels because of the progression of levels, more energetic that they are trying to remove clogs nozzles.
  
  If after completing the document, you find that you still have a problem of quality output, I would do a manual cleaning of the print head and cartridges. The reason to do that is to make sure that built up on these pieces is not the reason for the wrong exit when printing documents.
  The Manual shows how to clean the parts on the hope of 177 - 123.I of pages that it helps.

• Cannot get rid of 3 failure windows 'windows install' who quit with 96 percent finished, my printer hp psc 2110 is already installed and functional.

"Please wait while Windows gathers information & configure 2100", then a line goes up to 96% completion and stops, after which nothing moves... as freezes.  I click next to them and they leave, but it happens every time I start.  Anyone has any ideas...   This happens on reboot all? Check if the installation CD / DVD is in the drive. Otherwise you will have to click on Start-> settings-> Control Panel-> Add/Remove Programs-> your printer and click on repair.

  Okay, it looks like you have tried the usual troubleshooting as described here

  If the printer is out of warranty, something that could be useful to fire suddenly is remove the printhead & soaking as described by Bob in the post below.

  (1) get a pan and put 1/2 "of very hot (not boiling) water in the bottom.
  (2) remove all ink cartridges, then remove the print head Assembly.
  (3) gently put the printhead nozzles down in water and soak for 5 minutes.
  (4) remove the print head and gently dry the electrical contacts.
  (5) replace the print head in the printer and then reinstall the ink cartridges.

  Thank you very much for the question, now lets get you an answer!

  I understand that you are no longer able to print from your HP Officejet 4630 that is connect to your Mac via USB.

  Did you check both ends of the cable to make sure it is plugged in back? I recommend you unplug both ends and blow the slits and insert the cable again.

  Have you upgraded to all operating systems?

  When you go to the folder of the printer that you see your printer there? Or is it not there?
