NEITHER PCI PCI-6025E 1409

Hi friends,

I NI PCI 1409 (image interface) and PCI-6025E cards (DAQ) installed on the windows xp desktop

which connected to Mikron deducted camera (M9104).

Recently, I have through my labview 8.6.

After the upgrade, the installation of Mikron camera software has failed.

Anyone have an experience to solve the problem?

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thank you

Jack

Hi jackp6,

I think that your problem is related to the drivers.  After the upgrade to LabVIEW 8.6 have improved your NOR-IMAQ drivers as well?  According to our IMAQ and IMAQdx compatibility chart , you must have version 4.1 or higher for NI-IMAQ and 3.2 or higher for NI-IMAQdx.  I suggest a complete reinstallation of our acquisition of Vision with these drivers software.

I have PCI-6025E (DAQ) and cards-1409 (Image Interface) PCI installed on the Windows XP desktop, that connected to the deducted Mikron camera.

Recently I spend my Labview to 8.6, but the Mikron camera installation software does not work.

How can I solve the problem?

    jackp6,

For the 6205E you will need to download an install the Drivers OR-DAQmx which you can find here:

    NOR-DAQmx

    http://Joule.NI.com/nidu/CDs/view/p/ID/2214/lang/en

The 1409, you must NEITHER IMAQ drivers that are included in the following the Acquisition of vision available here:

    NEITHER Vision Acquisition Software 2,010.08

  • The confocal issue custom with PCI-based 1409 acquisition

We use a PCI-1409 to acquire a video from a custom confocal system flow and high definition image. We use the junction box BNC to send in luminance, hsync and vsync in the PhotoMultiplierTube and our custom control box.

Because of the way we scan using Resonators, we have two corrections that we hold in the video stream and that you are not sure if this is possible at the level of the camera, i.e., place the code in the .icd file, we did, or if it is something that must be completed in LabView. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One distortion: Acquire us information of luminance in both sense of sweep. Our image is one where all other lines is reversed. Is it possible to invert all other lines and register? Now double us the apparent width of the image and then having to crop the image twice, reverse a stack of image and then interleave.

Two distortion: mirrors scanning speed varies sinusoidally and stretching that occurs on the edges so there. How would we go about filtering the stream in order to fix this? I guess it's something that should be done in LabView as pixel clock is fixed.

The file .icd, we have changed the default settings to get a stable picture with the two aforementioned distortions is attached.

I would just use a single CIM file with odd and even lines.  For the preview, use deinterlace or extract to remove the odd lines.  For full images, make the post processing later.

  • Initializing PCI-6025e DDK & respondent

    Hi all,

I used my NI E series successfully DDK and RTX PCI card (using implementations of OSIbus for examples E and DDK RTX Series). Now I'm trying
Use with samples respondent provided on the Web site of NOR. I'm sure that my NOT card ID
string is "PXI5::9:INSTR" (works well with RTX), the lsdaq sample (which scans for hardware PCI with NOR seller) sends me
"PXI5::0:INSTR", but the two values is not init the map using
Example.sln (AcquireBoard): device could not be found (PciFindDevice fails).

You have any clues, where the problem comes from?

    Thanks in advance,
    Antoine Nourry

The problem is solved and pciDev.wDeviceId came. It has been set at #define NI_ESERIES_DAQ 0x11C0, finally I had to use 0x2A80 for my card (found in nimhddk_rtx.inf, MHDDK RTX package). The map ID string returned by lsdaq was right: "PXI5::0:INSTR" and me misleaded during several tests.

  • Multifunction NI PCI data acquisition USB adapter to

    Hello world

The other day at work, we all talked old hardware laying around projects that we have emptied the.

Most of the equipment is older, NI PCI based cards DAQ.

It dawned on me that I had never seen or heard talk of a type of card that you can snap an old PCI card in and use it on a USB bus.  Then I started to research or to see if it existed.

Well, pinch such a thing is me...!

    http://www.arstech.com/item-SSI2-PCI-card-ssi2_pci.html

My next questions would be (without spending money):

Can it work with a PCI-6025E?

How would you react in this adapter with NOR-DAQmx?

    Would he recognized at all?

    As a riser?

    As a USB device?

Has anyone tried it or something like that?

Any idea, experience or info would be appreciated.

    Braincramp

Oops... Sorry to post without reading my link!

It's just sort of Kit.  Not a bridge or an adapter.

In addition, it seems that the general opinion is that a bridge PCI to USB would be too slow.

    Never mind!

However, if anyone has already seen an animal like that, I'd have to see it!

  • Impossible to install the driver OR DAQmx on OpenSuse 11.1

    Hello

I use NEITHER-PCI 6036E, NI PCI 6602 and card GPIB to run my experiences. Next to cards OR I only use the drivers: all programs are written in MFC. I would like to move my data acquisition to a Linux system (I am currently using OpenSuse 11.1 64-bit), however I have a problem installing NIDAQmx (8.0.1) for Linux. Any help would be appreciated. I have attached the log file of the installation failure and a file more indicated by the installer itself to help you diagnose the problem.

    Best regards

PS: (if I have to change cards OR, which is not a problem, in fact we are
using lots of other newer models. Also I can use some other Linux

I was hunting the question until, that track is incomplete after the

    According to the 0 position.

I compared the REAL, 32 trace with a trace of the CSA and could locate exactly the0x00

It turned out that the buffer string types caused the problem.
This buffers had two members, buffer.value and buffer.raw.
buffer. Value returns just a finished string 0. buffer. RAW returns
all of the allocated buffer. To get the true number of receipts
bytes, you must Access the global variable ibcntl in the gpib
Library. Under windows, this variable is renamed to user_ibcntl.

  • Properties assistant DAQ does not open

We use version 8.0.1 LV with daqmx version 8.7.1. Win Xp with a PCI-6025E, SCB-100 card is attached. I can measure the thermistor in the SCB-100 in the measurement and automation for the hardware seems to work OK. The problem is to use Daqmx in LV I am following the tutorial at http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/2744 . When I drop the Daq Assistant on the block on that diagram it does not open the property page for me to configure an analog input, double-click don't work, simple click and selecting Properties does nothing. In the measurement and automation, I can create a task and he launch the daq - mx box and setup of measurement with the PCI-6025E. Probably a setting issue somewhere, any ideas?

See this discussion and this one.

  • How to refine 24VAC for 1324 SCXI-1160

    Nice day

I'm looking to refine the 24VAC (which is now surprisingly 28VAC).

    We use NEITHER-PCI-6030E, chassis SCXI - 1001 - 1160 & 1324.

(Vi) code, I see just a relay is switched to power our module to test (wanted 24VAC).

    SC1Mod4/ch0 or 1.

I guess I set the 24VAC with measure & auotmation explore? NOR-488. 2 interactive control? or the tool to Configuration of NOR-DAQmx?

I am new to this kind of thing and I interview an old system...

    Best regards

    Koen.

I do not understand your question about 24VAC. The scxi module is a simple relay card and the 6030 can generate high voltage. You must watch the patterns of your system to see what is used for a source of tension.

  • Port resets the value after calling DAQmxStopTask.

Hello? My device is PCI-6025E and I used to reset by sending 0x00 on #0 with DAQ digital output port. It must be reset if the VC software button power ++ is pressed.

But after a trial of DAQmx, even after that I sent 0x00, it will be set the value of 0x00 to 0xFF after calling DAQmxStopTask. I want to know how do I know it's 0x00, ahead of DAQmxStopTask.

I tried to read the port #0 when writing of 0x00 in this regard, but it hangs or it returns error; He said that the port is reserved and can not read the port until the task (in writing) is completed.

Here is the code that I tested.

    error int = 0;
    TaskHandle taskHandle = 0;
    TaskHandle DItaskHandle = 0;
    uInt8 data = 0 x 00;
    char errBuff [2048] = {'\0'};

Try to use the node property DAQmx to reverse digital lines.

According to the that you configure DI / use the following

    Int32 __CFUNC DAQmxSetDOInvertLines (TaskHandle taskHandle, const char [channel], data bool32);

    Int32 __CFUNC DAQmxSetDIInvertLines (TaskHandle taskHandle, const char [channel], data bool32);

  • Question of entry of NOR-PCI6221 AND anolog scB-68

    Hi, two questions please.
    (1) I use neither-pci-6221 DAQmx and scb - 68 to input voltage (0.001 ~ 0.00001v) and temperature (thermeocouple sensor), I use AI0 and AI8 as voltage channel and Al1 and Al9 as channel temperature senser, I adjust the swiths in scb - 68 box in "Default Fcatory", I can get the voltage signal good and then I swith to mode "activate (differential) temperature sensor. I just get only the temperature signal, the teminal tension do not work, Yes, I put my chain tension differantial mode, still do not work, why?

    (2) can I leave the channel two work together? I want to the change in temperature of the probe when I measure the voltage.

    Thank you

  • Measure voltage low frequency

    Hello

I use PCI 6025E to control load Bank and to measure the voltage, current and frequency of a generator.
Current and the frequency is not a problem, voltage is toublesome.
As on test bench already there are few PCI cards and large number of sensors, I don't want to add NI 9205 or any other additional maps and the size of the area (other people are also working there).

The problem with blood pressure is three two generators spend 400 rpm to 1600 rpm is. some 15 to 55 Hz.

I got two solutions for this:

1, put a step down transformer (230 Vac / 5 Vac) and then measure the voltage. But I have to deal with magnetic saturation with commercially available processor during the test to something like 15 Hz. I don't want to take the pain to built my own transformer.

2, using high precision voltage divider. The problem is that what should be the galvanic insulation? Insulation transformer, but still low frequency problem.

Where could someone suggest me because there is a bit of confusion in my head.

    Thank you.

If you have a sinusoidal generator (15 Hz migth be hard for the soundcard ) you can do a calibration of your transformer.

(If only the amplitude of the voltage is of interest, use a DMM isolated as a reference and run your generators)

Or you buy an insulation voltage amplifier. (weidmueller, phoenix, wago,...)

  • Allows you to control two app PCIe-1427 acquisition card program?

Is it possible that NEITHER MAX poster image and a program of Uart control a camera through PCIe-1427?

I'm designing on a FPGA board with a link to the camera, and the side FPGA generates the image of the target. and PCIe-1427 Council receives the image.

I'm contrling the map via USB2UART FPGA, and MAX displays the image. This works.

but instead of USB2UART, using UART is possible with the terminal program such as putty and teraterm via PCIe-1427?

In fact, I can't because teraterm cannot see the PCIe-1427 uart port. However neither offers

device driver, I think it would work.

If there is the driver that shows the interface UART to PCIe - 1427 as normal COM port, where is it?

If this is not the case, why is that this driver?

And there at - it can access any other OR acquisition card that provides the link camera and COM port interface the other terminal program series?

    Thank you..

Imperx software automatically find the port (I use Imperx camera).

When the farmed grabber is installed and NEITHER-IMAQ is installed the software should automatically find the camera.

Have you tried running the capture with Standard camera card? I understand that you create something special on FPGA.

  • DI/O cards such as the 651 x are compatible with PCIe 1 x?

    Hello

This can be a bit of a stupid question, but it's my first outing with NEITHER and yet I somehow received some amount of responsibility for a very strange procurement process.  I hope the question is easy to answer and that will mitigate its possible idiocy.

Are maps such as the NI 651 x (http://www.ni.com/datasheet/pdf/en/ds-105) compatible with PCIe 1 x?  Of the image, it looks like they are designed to run on PCIe 16 x, but since the speed is not a major concern, that I wondered if she settle and operate normally on PCIe 1 x.

I am limited in contracts with a default value, extensive construction of tower PC organization, whose mother has two PCIe 16 x and two PCIe 1 x.  Since I will probably need three cards, I was hoping that it would be compatible with the PCIe 1 x slot and we would save the hassle of special purchase order form.

    Thanks for any help!

N ° it is even not a PCIe connection.  It's PCI.  I recommend that you call your local representative of OR discuss your needs and they can help steer you in the right direction.
