  Hello world.  I use a Gateway laptop with windows 8.  When Windows 8.1 became available I started to have this problem with the same error that won't go away: B33 S-61.  I've updated to Windows 8.1, who took my computer awhile, and I was appalled the next day when I got the same error.

  What I found?

  I think that there is something in the current Netflix app that could not be updated, uninstall the application, reinstall it and launch it I had connect and now it works again.

  Yes, I am able to play videos in other applications.  I was actually able to solve my problem earlier this morning.  I went and downloaded a driver update and that seemed to do the trick.  Thank you very much and I hope you have a nice day!

  I did all the updates of Windows and all App updates and I'm still getting these messages when you try to use these applications to Windows 8.

  Tried to contact Netflix and Hulu and they are at a loss just direct me to talk to Microsoft.

  I am able to use these services in Internet Explorer, but not by applications dedicated Windows themselves.

  What is going on?  How can I solve this problem?  Is this something I need to do or do these companies must update the applications again before I can use them?

  I tried to watch Netflix on my RT today and got the W8156-88890001 error code. It was fine yesterday.  Netflix said it has to do with an obsolete Audio driver. Should I upgrade to Windows 8.1? I am currently running Windows 8. I'm having a hard time upgrading, in any case, as says my RT I need to contact the administrator of my Site, however I do not have as long as it is just a Tablet I use at home and is my private camera. • Netflix app crashes in Windows 8, no error detected in the convenience store

  I have an Asus laptop with Windows 8 that I received today, and I got the Netflix app for Windows store a few hours ago.   Did you create another user with admin rights profile to see if it works? The current user profile may be corrupted.

  This is not quite correct. Netflix is responsible for the application and all problems associated with, if there is a problem after an update it's because of something they need to fix.
