Network connections of losing blackBerry Smartphones

After a happy week with my new 8300, my connections network repeatedly off today.  I followed all the instructions, and nothing has worked. Able to yell, but not send or receive e-mails.  Is it a network issue, and often?

Verizon had me remove the battery and reboot, and then they have reprogrammed the radio signal.  So now, it's all together, thx.

Thanks for your help. I decided to check with my Blackberry service provider, and they were able to fix the problem by simply removing and then reinsert the cell phone battery while it was connected to my computer. The old trick 'the battery '. Never thought of that.

  • Unable to connect to wifi blackBerry smartphones

Hello. I just bought the 9790 and I am yet to learn how to connect to wi - fi while disabling my data plan. so far, when I cut the data plan, I am unable to connect to wi - fi. any idea guys?

You cannot navigate via Wi - Fi with your Data Services disabled. Turning off your data Services disables all data on your phone, including data received by Wi - Fi.
On your home screen, click on manage connections > Mobile Network Options and turn on your data Services. You can then go back and turn off your Mobile network connection so only data traveling over Wi - Fi will be received by your phone.

    I hope that helps you.

As the name of the topic, says when I try to open my Windows Live Messenger on the Curve 8900, the white screen with the blue Blackberry logo appears and the charge takes 2 minutes or more. At the end of the load, an error message comes up saying that 'connection timed out '.

I live in Vancouver and I am with Rogers, I use the $25 unlimited email/IM, text plan. Is this something with the settings on my phone or something with my ISP? Anyone who has a solution?

    Thank you!

Hi I found what was wrong. I called Rogers and was told that the Windows Live Messenger icon preloaded in the phone is just a shortcut and the program is not already installed. Which means that I have to download the actual program. But since I do not have a web navigation plan (only for e-mail and instant messaging, and text), I couldn't connect to the internet to download the Messenger. I have finished downloading on a WiFi network, now it works fine.

  • Problem connecting USB of blackBerry Smartphones

I have a Curve 8330. Using Windows XP with the latest version of Blackberry Desktop (4.7).

Neither the computer or the software BB, see the curve connected. No error message, just no connection. Good ports, cable and also installed the latest drivers USB of Blackberry Web site.

    Any ideas, please?

    Hello.

Check the 8330 for debris or dirt in the USB port.

If it's clean, it may be a hardware problem. Take it to the carrier and have then try

to access via the USB port.

  • Problem connecting Wifi HELP blackBerry Smartphones

I just bought my blackberry "BOLD" 2 weeks ago, I've not always been able to use my wifi. It says that I'm connected, she named my connection next to the claimant but the wifi icon remains Gray and there is no checkmark beside the Tower wifi on the thing. When I go to the borwser this message always says "unable to connect to he internet, please try again." If the problem persists contact your service provieder. One of the reasons why I bought this phone was because of the wifi and now I can't even use it. It would be great if someone could let me know how to solve the probelem

    Help, please

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

I have a "BOLD" myself and WiFi may tend to be very tempremental but the best thing would be to try a hard reset on the device, but make sure that you back up all your information on the device on your computer before you do. Then go to Options > Security Options > General settings > "Button Blackberry" Menu and "wipe Handheld".

That seems to work for mine, even if it is a bit tempremental but if that doesn't fix it then I say back to the store and exchange it.

  • Internet connection Wi - fi blackBerry Smartphones

OK, this might sound like a stupid Q but when I connect my BB 9700 to my router broadband via wi - fi, are all data downloads run automatically via wi - fi, rather than through my network of the shipping company, or is there a setting somewhere that I have to change?

    Thank you

You are right. As soon as you connect to a Wifi router, your device, you can route all connections internet through the router, if possible. This will include the Apps if they support him!

Thanks for solving this issue. Can you help me with another question? How to transfer MP3s from my PC to my bb? Is there a configuration I need to do? At the present time, the phone is charging it is plugged into my computer laptop USB port. I used this cable to transfer files / music to another gadget, so I guess that this cable can transfer files. I tried bb desktop software > application > import files, but I continue we get an error saying there was an error importing files. No additional applications can be found. • Configuration of the browser for blackBerry Smartphones - does not

On older versions of blackberries, you go to browser > options > browser configuartion, but can someone tell me how to do it on the TORCH 9810, or can't you?...

I have a problem with my internet, I connected to a wifi at home but its still using my mobile internet that comes from my contract that I have to change all the settings, but could you tell me some time how do I solve this problem I didn't ant to my use of the internet and to pay more

On your home screen, click on manage connections > connections and networks > Mobile network.  Make sure that your data Services have the value IT.  Now, go back two screens and uncheck the Mobile network at the top.  In this way, you don't use all network data, but you will not receive also calls or texts.  If you leave your Mobile network connection on your BlackBerry should default to your Wi - Fi connection and should not use data from any network.

    I hope that helps you.

  • Browser blackBerry Smartphones bing says no network connection. Help, please!

I just updated my 8530, and now when I open my browser bing, he said: no network connection, but I have all networks enabled and I'm typing this from my blackberry on verizon service, what can I do to fix my phone, can I recharge the old software? Please help me!

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) return Service books (pre-BB10 only devices)

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones "Blackberry App World is had problems to connect to the server Blackberry App World. "Check your network connections, and then try again.

Whenever I try to access an application, appworld is a site of the company that send me to appworld I get this error.
"Blackberry App World is had problems connecting to the server Blackberry App World. "Check your network connections, and then try again.

I have loaded the bb appworld re have the latest version for my new bb bold 9900, but still the error and then lock up. Power off, and get a message that I had an unknown error.

People have had this problem since 2010. I never had this problem with my flashlight or my 9000 "BOLD".
Anyone know what is happening? I also have the latest OS on my 9900.

Found a solution! Laughing out loud! How delayed. I changed my email in bb code. For example, after changing from one gmail to another account, I changed it back and baaammmm! Problem solved, but do not know why it should be a problem in the first place right?

Good luck to you guys who do not have the possibility of returning to another email.

  • Unable to connect to the gsm network blackBerry smartphones

I've got bb 8320I think it's the phone from t-mobile usa, but I'm not sure. I would use this phone with the local water supplier. But a mobile network does not come when I rolled local sim. Under 'mepd' I see that sim has been detected and all services (SIM, NETWORK...) are disabled. I tried mep2 but nothing came of it. MEP2 does not work. Can U give me an idea?

    (1) is my phone locked or not? Why mep2 does not at all?

    (2) why mobile GSM network does not?

    It's a really stupid question.

    The answer is

    1. it is an unlocked phone. There's a reason why mep2 does not come and network under mepd is disabled

2 / manage mobile/network connections / changed on YOU. The phone works fine. I am able to make calls.

  • Priority of the Wi - Fi Smartphones blackBerry via network connection?

If I travel abroad, I am charged to browse the internet by using the network connection on my BB, but if I can connect to a Wi - Fi network (free) then there is no charge for browsing by using this connection Wi - Fi.  When connecting to a network should Wi - Fi I disable the network connection to verify that the browser using the free Wi - Fi connection?  Can I set priority somehow?

You cannot set the priority, but on the device, you can turn off the Mobile network and see that the WiFi connection will seek always to receive/send emails, etc..

By default, the device uses WiFi as the connection preferred when available, but to ensure what he done, turn off the Mobile network in manage connections.
