  You say that this computer is new, so it will be under warranty.  If it has never been able to start, I take it back to the place I bought it and tell them that they sold you a defective computer.  They must either fix it or replace it free of charge.  Alternatively, you can contact Lenovo to see if they can help.  New computers should not have these problems.  There's probably a way to restore it to factory settings, but methods differ from one to the other, so you can probably find that on the web site of Lenovo.

  If I want to run a script when I press a button that will check if a specific layer is visible. If so, it performs another function that shows additional layers. If the specific layer is not visible, it checks the next layer to see if it is visible. This continues until it checks all the necessary layers and is a visible layer.

  Firstly, the developer has created a function to automatically get the layer. I had problems to find ways to select layers, especially because the layers were nested in groups inside groups. This helped solve that. The function was this:

  You then set the visibility by using the following code:

  When I reply to a message, the original message is quoted

  When I thought about it, I realized that there were some subfolders that have unread messages. When I deleted them, I got the number zero. Sorry for my stupidity.

• I tried to update Firefox for months and it never properly ends the installation.

  I'm on a Mac of Yosemite and my Firefox has been slain to 37.0.2 for months. It continuously beeps at me saying that the most recent version is ready to install, but when I click above and of course - go and install - it seems to go through all the download requests then tells me that the updates will be installed when I restart Firefox, then it will never update and I'm still at 37.0.2. This has happened for months. I downloaded/installed/restarted Firefox and my computer a zillion times and never, he takes and keeps just bip me to install the latest version of Firefox.
