New disk hard recovery HP 2000 error

Hello, the value < br > I try to install the recovery disk. (Four discs) I'm on the second series of the hp discs. Both first and second set have the same problem when installing. All disks appear to load correctly, and then start the installation. After that some automatic restarts the system displays an error after the hp and Windows startup screens. Im guessing both sets of recovery disc may not even have install questions. I completely install ed Windows Seven 32-bit on this computer to see if it was a hardware problem. That's happened. No problems and everything worked, I'd rather go back to installing 64 bit Win8 however plant. I tried dozens of times to do. From a crashed hard drive 2 months out of warranty. This is what it says... the window welcome < br > < br > after the administrator an error Windows Installer window. Appears. & quot; Windows could not complete installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation. & quot; < br > you can press ok or close button. < br > < br > Ive tried several suggestions on the forums. Don't know how it ends correctly. < br > < br > any ideas. Please < br > < br > Willy

Hello:

I can't help you with why the recovery disks do not work, but I may be another possibility for you to try...

Here is a link to download an ISO W8 OEM 64-bit file, which should work with the product key in the BIOS.

It has a limited number of downloads per day, and as I type this, it is currently available for download. If for some reason it is not available for download when you go to DL the file, I would check several times a day and you will need to do in the course of a day or two.

Then use this tool to make the ISO bootable DVD or USB drive (4 GB).

    Hello

Drive HARD recovery does not work because Win 7 ran the Boot Manager and maybe the HDD partition has been affected.

I guess you want to roll back to Vista preinstalled Toshiba.

  • Disk hard recovery of corrupt or missing...?

    Hello

I gave my Acer Netbook to my son this weekend while he could reinstall everything again because I had some problems and he was running like a snail. However, he rang me yesterday and said that it is either without recovery or it was deleted or its corrupted.

That's what he says he did. It's above my head and I do not understand, but he said that might be the community. That's what he said below.

Looking in DiskPart there should be at least 4 partitions and there is only 3 so the recovery partition is missing. How it happened I don't know because my knowledge of fathers of computers isn't that wonderful. To him remove a hidden partition that cannot be removed via DiskPart because it is a hidden partition is a complete mystery.

Is there a recovery media that I can buy and reinstalled the operating system. Other than what I could do is own execution in DiskPart and clear as the HARD drive and I have a license Windows 7 Ultimate 86 and 64-bit. I could create a bootable USB drive and perform a clean installation. But I would need to download all the drivers for the netbook.

    * The Recovery partition is absent there is so no viable way to recover the Netbook back to settings factory because it no longer exists. Therefor, the only way of recovering or reinstalling the operating system is to me to either get in on recovery media or I reinstall a new installation of Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 which I fired disk so I can install it. But I need all the drivers beforehand, otherwise I would not be able to restore the Netbook to a State of normality.

How to get windows 7 edition starter on this system.

    Hi Dave,.

    Thanks for the updates.

I wish to inform you that there is a difference between the installation disc and disc upgrade.

However, there is a solution that will allow you to install Windows 7 on the computer.

Step 1: during the installation, when you get to the window where you enter the product key, uncheck the option that requires the product at the bottom of the window key. You can use the same disc of Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade.

This will install Windows 7 without product key, you must activate it later.

    Step 2: Activate the phone.

Check out the following link and follow the instructions in the section: Activate by using the telephone.

Activate Windows 7 on this computer

  • Problem creating the disk hard recovery Satellite A200 + touch pad

So I lent my laptop to my daughter until she could get enough to buy a PC.
Well, I got it back that only she has installed a bunch of stuff to the point where it is blowing on vista even after than my attempts to clean I decided to start the laptop using the creation of recovery disk came with the laptop.

But now, I used about 8 dvd discs, trying to create a good drive but I restart fr. with the disc in... nothing happens. I'm trying to spend directly in vista... and he says can not read the disc. I've recreated the disc several times and the same result and well, it was the only type of restore disc that came with the laptop]

Also as I've gotten at the time when I use the touchpad my cursor is jumping around, is that fixable?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Sorry, but something must be wrong in your post. As far as I know Satellite A200 comes with original Toshiba Recovery DVD. You should not create anything. New laptops like A300 do NOT come with DVD recovery and each laptop user, it should only create, but not with Toshiba Disc Creator. For this Toshiba application offers another tool. The name is Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator. It is not the same tool. So you have probably original Toshiba drive.

So if you have it please use this recovery DVD as described in this thread:

Unfortunately, now is not impossible to recover, image of hard drive, but with the only recovery disk. You can copy only to someone who has the same laptop with hard drive recovery record.

  • Windows installation disc needs for a new disk hard but is not available

    Hello

The hard drive on my PC HP badly shot - he tells me I need to check for consistency, but it cannot and will not run chkdsk on a restart and will not let me create a restore disk.

OK, I accept that I need to buy a new hard drive but I have no CD to install Win 7. The pc has a partition called "factory secctings" but it will not create a cd of Windows or a restore cd or a Sun.

Microsoft has said that it is not available for me because my serial number includes the letters OEM. I had a case created at HP, and a person called me and said I should get the CD of the os from Microsoft, or from the store I bought from (Staples). Staples said they have no CD for Win 7 and cannot make me a. They said get them from Microsoft or HP.

The number of cases is 3016271460

See that I get nothing from Microsoft, HP, or Stqples. I never got a CD with the pc because, I guess, it's there on the partition to factory settings, but with the failure of hard drive I can't use it.

    All have a suggestion?

Your hard drive can hold the DEFECTIVE SECTORS.

The only way to get windows 7 disc is to buy a new Amazon / similar online stores / service centres.

    You can try this:

  • HP G6: Windows 8.1 to new disk image recovery

I bought a new drive bigger and harder for my G6. I made an image of my old drive windows and I have a 8.1 windows installation disc.  I think that it is equal to a repair disc. It is in any other operating system. If I set the bios to the legacy that I can boot the disk windows 8.1 but it will not restore the image because it was made in efi mode and active legacy it says it's bios mode. The computer does not start the disk windows 8.1 in efi mode. I tested the drive in another computer and it starts. The computer will boot to a windows 7 or windows 10 drive but not the disk of 8.1. How can I do to restore that image I did?

Rethinking the computer was in legacy mode when I made the image. I feel pretty screwed by this experience of windows 8 CV.  I had planned to upgrade to windows 10 after that some of the bugs have been developed. Now, it's out of the question.

OK, I'll try that. I won't recommend the purchase of new laptops to anyone yet. Get a Thinkpad T series used with Windows 7. I know that you could still buy them last year. They last forever.

Start in safe mode, install SP2, SP3 install.

Reboot in normal mode, it should work. I think that it maybe an old cd rather than the last version supplied with certificate of authenticity.

  • Installation of Vista on the new disk HARD of DVDs of resettlement

    Hello!

Is it possible to use the reinstallation of Windows came with my Dell laptop DVD to install Windows on a new HARD drive for the same computer laptop?  I didn't upgrade the HARD drive of my laptop for something newer, bigger and faster, but I want to assure you that I will be able to use the reinstall DVD before investing in the new HARD drive.  I have not been able to develop a response straight yes or no from the comments I've seen online (something on the DVD works only with the original Dell hardware?).

    Here's my laptop specs:

    -Model: Dell XPS m1330

    -Age: 4.5 years

-OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit (I have reinstallation DVD provided with the laptop - one marked "already installed on your computer" - as well as the Dell drivers and utilities CD)

-Material: All material is as I received Dell - I did Exchange something out.

Thanks in advance for your understanding!

    Mariko

Resettlement is precisely what this DVD is for.  Dell offers a page of links to help owners restore their computers here: restore and reinstall Windows on a Dell computer.  For a blank hard drive, you must go to step 4: manual reinstallation.  Forum member Natakuc4 has written some pages with lots of additional information that might be useful, found here: install clean windows.

It is also possible to clone your existing HDD to shorten the time required to restore your computer, but with a laptop, need you also a shell of USB external hard drive.  I can't speak for all providers, but I know that Seagate and Western Digital offer a free version of Acronis True Image on their web pages to the owners of their hard drives.  This application allows you to transfer an image of your existing hard drive to a new hard drive in less than an hour (usually - depends on how much is on the discs).

  • New disks hard Hitachi does not fit on 8600

I got Hitachi 7200 RPM 60 GB hard drive installed on my Inspiron 8600 who died. I bought a new HDD Hitach 7200 RPM 200 GB but its interface is different, the pins would not fit! Am I missing something? This hard drive is not going with my Inspiron? I thought that all hard drives have the same interface, I'm confused.

There is a removable adapter at the end of the old drive (with a lot of legs/ankles) even it would not go with the new hard drive!

    The old interface looks like:

    I I I I I I I I I I I I (each a PIN)

The new hard drive has this type of interface:
