• Cloning Windows XP Pro to new Hard Drives part 2 (Sysprep.exe)

  As you can see, there is a new facet to my original question "cloning Windows XP Pro for new drives (ready to use to backup discs)". ".

  Through research, I found some information about "Sysprep" which paved the way for many other questions.

  (1) once my OS is installed and configured the way I like it, it is wise to do a disk with Sysprep image before using software such as Seagate DiskWizard to deploy on the other drives?

• Activating/Deactivating and CS and CC apps for a new driveI cloning

  I do not remember what safe computing precautions, I took the last time I cloned my internal drive to a new drive external larger drive and he swapped the internal drive I was cramped. I remember that I had no problem of this migration, however, so I must have done things correctly, or I got lucky.

  Unlike many people on the forum, I have no permanent need of any release to ID before ID CS6, so I think their uninstaller. They don't take up much space, and that they do not interfere with any work that I do, it is not necessary to get rid of them. I know there are questions about the installation of earlier versions of the ID when new versions are already installed on the same computer. I don't think I've heard the warnings on the removal of previous versions, however. I miss something important? After you have uninstalled previous versions with their uninstall programs, I know I can run the Adobe cleaner to ensure they went.

  I use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone operation, to create a clone bootable (no Migration Assistant.)

  After a successful clone operation, I restart from the new external drive. If it is successful, I'll re-enable disabled applications. Then I'll trade the new external drive to the internal drive.

  I forget something or there are unnecessary or reckless steps?

  Oh, Yes, I have a complete backup of MCM of time on a separate time Capsule drive.

  So, is it ID releases all downside of uninstalling earlier or to leave them in place, other than the GBs a few paltry they occupy?

  do not remove versions previous new times are installed unless you plan to reinstall the new also. They tend to get out of the common files, you will need.

  I'm on Windows, but I have never had a problem with Adobe software when replacing a drive and using an image of the former to implement. Saving HOURS of time.

• 6.4.1RC1 - new user interface part don't give any info to external drive

  I've just updated to 6.4.1RC1 and I love the new sharing of the user interface. Now, I get a lot of information on a single screen. Thank you! However, it gives no Info for the external drive. Even the size of the drive does not appear, while on the main screen, it is displayed correctly. How is it, I can't have everything much info for my external drive on this screen?   I'm not familiar with your model computer, but there are several ways to do so.  If the computer can accommodate multiple disks, you can install the new drive next to the former.  If she does not accept another disk, you can in these external adapters for about $30, which allow you to attach a bare drive to a computer with USB.  Then, you clone the internal drive to the new. Cloning is a special form of the copy.  It copies all files including startup system files so that your new drive is essentially identical to the first.

• New computer, old hard drive. Activation?

  I got an old compaq presario 5140 or something and it came with vista on a hard drive of preset. I recently built a new computer with parts and essentially have a new computer. I decided since my old hard drive worked well and was compatible SATA, I want to just install it in the new computer, too.  Now, windows tells me to restart my activation key is not valid, and I need to get a new (I him I had preinstalled about 7 years I have therefore had no idea here), buy a new key or visit support.
  So I ask here what I have to do. I need my computer today for a job if I got quick responses would be greatly appreciated!

  You cannot transfer a preinstalled license.

  OEM and retail licenses:

  If your computer is pre-installed with Vista, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.

  The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
  You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

  If a license of Vista at retail, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
  But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

  A single license is a single Installation.

• Cloning of a HHD to SDS

  Recently I bought an SSD and used Macrium Reflect to clone my HHD (Bootable with OS; Windows7) to the SDS. The process went well, connecting the SSD to the same port MB as the HARD drive has been connected, PC started and and works fine.

  I chose only the sector of the OS on the HARD drive to clone for the SSD (he had a partition D:\ Image factory; didn't clone because the image was Vista, and Desktop was Win7 upgrade... 32 bit..) the new SSD cloned with 2 Partitions... (the C:\drive SSD is a 240 GB drive)... the size of the OS Patition C:\ cloned about 224GB and the difference in a D:\ Partition.

  Since I only cloned Partition to the OS, is there a reason for the cloning process has created 2 Partitions? The D:\ is empty and usable. Tried to contact Macrium; they will not respond...

  It is not an API for this.  You can create a new chart that shows the splat on the top of your icon and the homescreen class allows you to change the icon of your application.

• New virtual local network not accessible from the vpn

  Cisco ASA 5510 helps static routes.  I created a new vlan internal and added the path correct for the ASA.  Internally the vlan is fully accessible, but when I connect to the VPN I can't communicate with the systems in this regard.

  Please let us know what kind of tunnel are you talking about:

  1 lan to lan tunnel

  2. site of tunnel site

  You must ensure that the new VLAN is part of the interesting traffic and nat is free.

  Add the new vlan interesting traffic will ensure that the tunnel is trigged for the new VLAN.

  Do the new vlan a part of nat exemption ensures that traffic is through the tunnel and natted not routed to internet and so lost.

  Also you can check if the program and for the tunnel decaps multiply or not when you try to move traffic from the new VLAN. You can check which form the "sh cry counterpart his ips."

• Reinstallation of Windows 8 on new SSD

  Hi, I have recently acquired a new SSD and a new hard drive after suspecting that my old hard drive was a failure. I tried to do a clean install of Windows 8 on the new SSD, but instead the clean install just erased from my hard drive and reinstalled the old hard disk. I tried the old hard drive to the OS on the new SSD cloning and booting from the SSD, but it does not work, how I go about doing that?

  I bought Windows 8 Pro online and downloaded later, I don't have a backup/install disk and I don't have any more uses on my key (it was 1 key/use only) this is why I did not format and reinstall.

  To install a Windows 8 upgrade version, you must already have Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP installed on your PC.

  If you have formatted the drive until the upgrade of Windows 8 version has been installed, you will not be able to use your upgrade product key to activate Windows 8. To activate Windows 8, you will need to install your previous version of Windows, and then reinstall Windows 8. Help with the activation process, contact technical support.

  So make sure that you do this first, then proceed to reinstall Windows 8 Pro and then again by phone:

• How do I know if a contact is net new on a form

  What I'm trying to achieve is to send an e-mail notification in the campaign activity to our partners only if the contact form is net new. I feel that this must be something achievable but I encounter some difficulty in finding a way to do this in my implementation.

  Now I'm routing from a form to a CDO. I am then send the e-mail using map data services. I was hoping to use the data search criteria to achieve by match the date of the creation of a date stamp I created during the updating of the data card but I did not succeed in the tests. With the help of a program is not an option I can say because the email that we send the notification is not the email to submit the form, but just another value on the form submission.

  For any help or suggestions would be great.
