  Hi dear all,

  Instead of LAN I use WIFI to connect PC and mobile. Read all communications and write operations are performing ok. But the only problem I am facing is that once I disconnect the network from a mobile phone connection my labview TCP read operation does not detect it and only timesout at the specified interval. Although for Bluetooth connection network if I disconnect mobile then BT read detects it as network conncetion closed in error by peer (66).

  Can someone help me on this.

  Hi Zdzislaw,

  The behavior you're seeing is expected for TCP as the device will timeout while it is looking for the connection close the connection.  This Wikipedia article explains how TCP protocol works in relation to a handshaking procedure four lanes running in order to close a TCP connection.  I hope this helps!

  Put the computer in a clean boot, and then try to install the driver for the fingerprint reader.

• HP pavilion dv6 fingerprint reader - 3163cl does not work anymore

  I loaded updates and the fingerprint reader does more.  in a possible solution using the Recovery Manager looking at my screen has no drivers and reinstall the applications.  There s/w and h/w separately.  under s/w, there is a Digital Persona Finger Print Reader for consumer in New Brunswick.  Not quite sure what exactly where to look the version, but I think it's the 5.10.175a version.  so - I'm not seeig HP Simple pass Ud Orit 2911 s/w.

  Thank you.  I've identified the Digital Persona Fingerpoint drive under the requests of s/w of Recovery Manager.  However, I thought that I would have a chance to uninstall it from there, and I hit reinstall it.  I then went through the restart and the fingerprint reader worked.  I wonder if I should do it again, because I had not uninstalled?

  I had to change my hd recently and I installed an SSD in my laptop. I also had to install W7 and I lost all my drivers and original software.

  I was able to get most of HP, but do not have the drivers for the fingerprint reader. The installation always stop. Maybe I forgot to install something before, or maybe I did it wrong.

  Can someone help me please?

  I understand that you are looking for the pilot of fingerprints for the computer, because the fingerprint reader does not work. I can certainly help you! Choose a driver to download and install, based on the operating system of your computer:

  Windows 8, 8.1 - fingerprints of validity sensor driver

  Windows 7 - fingerprints of validity sensor driver

  After that the driver will install and this should solve the problem, restart the computer. If it is not, please let me know the operating system of the computer. Thank you and have a great day!

  I upgraded Windows 8.1 Windows 8.  Before updating the finger print reader worked. I used it to connect to websites in any browser Firefox. I also logged into windows with my fingerprint reader and the screen unlocked the same way.

  I have updated all the drivers according to the instructions on updatig before windows 8.1 and after update.  I checked that everything compatible with windows 8.1 again by the instructions before putting up-to-date.

  After that update the drive light will not read the finger scan and the light does not illuminate. I went to the control panel to check the driver and he was later. I ran the windows driver verifier and on the HP site checked for validity sensor driver is up-to-date.  When I open simple passage it says congratulations you can connect in the window by the touch of the finger. When I go on Internet sites I have red cells connected with simle pass, he now seeks to connect with the password "master."

  Welcome to the HP Forum.

  Does the SimplePass asks your for your master password Windows means that the program has survived the process of upgrading to Windows 8, 1 - somehow.

  You can start with the following:

  • Create a Restore Point > create a restore - Win7 Point ORcreate a restore point Win8 
  • Close all your programs and shut down your computer
    • Unplug everything (little unifying for the keyboard / mouse external can stay)
    • Perform the Hard Reset for your laptop
    • Start the computer and connect
  • Check is SimplePass himself has sorted them.

  You can try to update your SimplePass program to the latest version in the series of version 6.x.

  Before you do this, read and follow the instructions to export your Webcards in your .tsd file.  Regardless of whether the Web site connections are working right now; you need this backup in case you lose your HP SimplePass program (thanks to the complete removal / reinstallation or if corruption).

  Then, consider updating the HP SimplePass program to the latest version 6 series.  If you are already using the latest version, consider other options in the guide, including the "Repair SimplePass" procedure.

  Open the file > click Download > click 'open in Adobe Reader.

  After installing Windows 7 x 64 on my brand new 8540p doesn't work the fingerprint reader.

• HP Envy 15-j140na: HP SimplePass fingerprint reader incentive is not to connect

  I just bought the HP Envy 15-j140na sound of HP. The laptop is fantastic, but I'm having a problem with the fingerprint reader. The computer comes with the simplepass 8.00.57 already installed the version of the software.

  The problem I have, is that once I implemented the simple passage fingerprint reader, it lead me to analyze my impression when connecting windows and I have to log on normally. I checked all the settings and it should be implemented, however there is no prompt. Just to emphasize that everything works fine. I can't sign in Web sites on IE no problem at all using the fingerprint reader. It can be a little frustrating because it goes against the interest of having a fingerprint reader.

  Any help to operate would be greatly apprecieted,

• Computer laptop 15-f211wm Mod #L0T32UA: USB external HARD disk and laptops not detected but used to be

  My USB ports do not seem to work properly.  I used to be able to plug in my external hard drive and mobile phone to transfer files, but now I can't.  In the DEVICE MANAGER of the laptop, nothing seems to be wrong, no red or yellow warning.  However, the USB ports DO not seem to power the devices, my cell phone goes into charge mode and my HDD Seagate you can feel it vibrate slightly.  There are two USB ports on the left side and one on the right, and all three can not detect devices.  Help, please.

  HERE IS a GUIDEto solving the problems of USB such as described in the post.  See if any of these help.  As you have posted in the notebook section, when you do that a single step to cripple, also remove the battery after the computer shuts down, unplug charger, too.  Then hold the power button for at least 30 seconds before feeding back.

  BTW: have you tried to delete all things under the rubric of the USB in the Device Manager, then reboot to allow Windows to reinstall the USB ports?

  I have improved my dv7 with windows 8 preview version and finger print reader perfectally well worked and when I have upegraded to pro it has stopped working. When I upgraded I lost a bunch of programs so can someone help because I loved using my fingerprint reader. Also I have upegraded of windows 7 to windows 8 Preview upegrading to pro version.

  I just had a battery go on my hp envy 15, I ordered a new, replaced the old, now my loading icon is an empty battery with a red on X. I tried to get out once again the battery and put it back, I tried a hard reset on the phone and I tried to re-install the drivers of battery for my laptop.
