  Given that you tell us exactly which product you have purchased, my best guess is that the splitter you bought is not really a video display device but a splitter that transforms a signal of monitor in two.  In this case the two screens will be duplicates and there is no way to force them to become different views.  You need a real display adapter that provides its own signal to do so.

  I'm not sure on this subject but in your case, I would buy an LCD with the same screen resolution.

  Also, don't forget that not all LCDs will be adapted so you should ask a service provider authorized in your country. Guys can order spare parts Toshiba and exchange it because that's not easy.

  I think that my problem with the fn brightness keys not working do not, is a driver problem. The only way I could do these function keys to work is to use a recovery for my laptop disk.   I'm ready to buy a new laptop, but can't decide between an Inspiron 17R with a Radeon HD5470 or a Studio 15 with an integrated Intel video card?  The video card on the Inspiron will offset the decline in the quality of the display?  Each system will have a processor i5 - 460 M with 6 GB of RAM.  I don't be gaming, but want a laptop better than my old Inspiron.

  I am a specialist in products with Dell and noticed you had not yet received a response to your message of the community and I wanted to help out let.  Although the video card helps to improve colors and balance on your screen, the cards will be tied for the most other than photo read/write use.  The determining factor should be whether you need additional video performance for games or anything else that requires drawing of 3D images or the calculation of interactions between the 3D environment.  Keep in mind that if you decide on an integrated card you will end up with more autonomy for increased mobility.

  Good question. You can reshape many parts of the Firefox UI, but I don't know about the Library dialog box. Because this dialog box is also used as bookmark Organizer, I'm not sure you want to remove the left column. Find how to refine just tweaking for downloads may take some time.

  As a solution, if you prefer the old dialog box, there is apparently a way to switch back. I have not tried myself. Check out this thread: am new version, want to come back to the previous download box, a new has no history and does not show the speed of download, how to get back?
