• Requirements for forms designed in Livecycle PDF reader

  HI guys,.

  I designed some forms of dynamic pdf which was developed using Livecycle Designer ES. These forms are fillable online forms and I will download on my site for my users can open these forms in a browser, fill in the form online and print it for their personal use. These forms are more like tools for users online. To do this, I also provide my users with a troubleshooting guide, so they can refer to it if they cannot open the forms or having difficulties to display the forms correctly. So I just now, I am working on the creation of this troubleshooting documentation and I don't want to give the wrong info to my users so some clarification and some doubts and I was wondering if you guys can help out me...

  (1) according to what I understand, I think that users must have at least a v.8.0 Acrobat Reader to complete these dynamic forms designed in livecycle designer ARE. This is right? So I think go on my memory, because I think I read this somewhere. would you be able to clarify that? I have the right version?

  (2) in addition, as a result, I understand that users need to have a browser Acrobat reader to open PDF files in a browser. So, I'll add a list of the different download links for pdf plugin for different browsers.

  (3) I was wondering, what happens if the user does not have acrobat reader installed on their computer? What are the other common pdf readers who use different users? I know there are tons out there, but I try to understand the more frequent than the majority of people other than Acrobat Reader use. I mean the mac or other OS users. These forms will also work in other pdf readers? Is there is a list of the different pdf readers and versions requirements so that these forms of livecycle to work?

  (4) other than the above, think that if I need to talk about anything that any other troubleshooting documentation? The points that I may have missed?

  You can set a password for the permissions on the form using Adobe Designer template (file > properties > Security PDF).  If you set the permissions to "do not allow changes", you must provide the password to open the PDF file in Adobe Designer.  End users, the form do not have to enter a password to open it for fitness to drive.

  Hi all, I work in a small company and would like to have a generic template that back to new users when they start. He practices the company base on internet usage, storage of base directory, login, etc... I want that last page of a form that I fill to contain their user name, password, telephone etc... I've implemented the shape makes a .pdf file and used the form designer to implement the fields I want to have active. Now I don't know what to do. I deally, I want save a copy of the file for each user in a network folder, with their information on this subject, and the form fields locked after I'm done. I've been playing with the distribution of forms and appear not to do what I want, looks like it creates a single file with all the different updates. I want possible, or can I just keep the shape of the United Nations distributed and open / save for each user and hope that they erase their data?

  Yes, for what you want to do create the form in Acrobat is the best way to go. Here are a few tips.

  1. to flatten the page that contains the form field, use the flattenPages method. It is documented here: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.466.html

  So to flatten the last page of a document, you should do something like:

  Convert fields on the last page to the other content

  flattenPages ({start: numPages - 1});

  2. to save the changes in a new document, you can do this:

  Trigger the menu item save as

  The Windows Form Designer-generated code is generated when you use the design view of your project where you see the user interface of your program.  When you drag the controls there and change their properties, the mode of creation generates the code in the "Windows Form Designer generated Code" section.  How did you create your UI file?  If you started from scratch with a VB NI Windows Application project and then dragged the controls on the design view, this code must have been generated.

  Forms created in the designer of the LC (XFA forms) can be saved as static PDF forms or dynamic XML Forms. While they opened in Acrobat/Reader, they are completely different forms developed in Acrobat (AcroForms) or PDFs of interpretation.

  You cannot change the structure of the static PDF (XFA) form or add new fields in Acrobat. You will need to reopen in the LC designer and work on it.

  I created a new IOM field based on 11g R2 PS 2 running on Solaris / Oracle database 11 g and I am able to connect and create new users using 'sysadmin '.

  However I'm unable to customize user forms. When I access the Forms Designer in the Configuration, the search options provided does not allow searching based on the drop-down list 'Type' to access existing UserForms OOB.

  The only available search option is the resource type, and your searches using this option returns empty rows.

  Not sure if there is that no post measures missed or no matter what another omission. Appreciate any help to identify the problem.

  You can only modify this form in LiveCycle Designer. Forms Acrobat and LCD are not interchangeable.

  (1) can we delete the custom or by fields of form of default process in the form designer
  
  
  The problem is that I deleted the form field to process custom in the form designer with unfortunately I deleted the default one that is * "UD_ADUSER_USERPRINCIPALNAME."
  After that the version is activated. Now, I add by default one by creating the new version, but it is not save and version no activation.
  
  I get the error like this during activation of the version
  
  * "A newer version of the form defined by the user does not contain all the fields are mapped to the reconciliation.: new version of the user defined the form does not contain all the fields are mapped to reconciliation." Update has failed. "
  
  If I go to the previous version, it also shows the same error and does not save and activate the version. I just did the above deleted operation and still, I'm trying to adding that fields with the new version, I'm getting the problem above

  This form is attached to a resource specific IE, for a definition of specific process of a resource.
  In this definition of process under reconciliation field mapping, the deleted column is always mapped.
  This is the reason why you get this error. If you want to remove any attribute of form, first remove the reconciliation field mapping in the definition of the process.
  Remove the column attribute / and activate the version.

  It is impossible with a form in LiveCycle Designer. Create the form with Acrobat and you can use all the tools in Acrobat.

  I have a few design questions about ISE v.1.0.4.573

  1. The ISE 3395 gigabit ports are supported on the aggregation of links?  How can I use all 4 ports uplink?
  2. When you perform an installation of 2 x 3395 HA, is there a connection of heart rate between the two ISE or they will use the same link to the network of pulsing and synchronization?
  3. I'm designing ISE with WLC. My setup WLC (5508) looks like 5 floors with different VLAN but same SSID. How can I do ISE authenticate in this scenario because WGB AP is not supported in ISE v.1.0. Is there a work around for this type of WiFi to the ISE configuration?
  4. Continuous configuration above, roaming from one floor to another floor after changing of Vlan, the user will be re - authenticate or use the same session?

  3. my suggestion is to assign your SSID, a group of interfaces, containing all interfaces belonging to your VLAN, on your WLC and set AAA replacement. And then, at ISE, create authorization profiles include the appropriate VLAN. Use the Called-Station-ID RADIUS attribute with your MAC address of the AP as a condition.

  I read an article which stipulates that, in order to view the XFA forms in Firefox and Chrome, you will need to turn off their built-in PDF rendering engine. However, this seems a lot of work for my end users. Is there a way to activate the form to open without turning off their PDF rendering engine built into Firefox and Chrome? Is there a setting somewhere?

  # Third for interactive PDFs of any kind is rare. I don't think that built-in player of the two browsers can handle XFA or AcroForms. Look at (Support XML Forms Architecture (XFA) forms · Number #2373 · Mozilla/PDF.js · GitHub) for more details. PDF is a complex standard, and most viewers have problems enough supporting the basic principles. Of course, you could look at following Adobe LiveCycle server, which allows the rendered HTML of XFA forms.

  In the console design, you won't see any form in the form designer until you install all of the connectors to the IOM.
