New wholesale Adobe updates due to end/uninstall Quicktime?

Last question, I've had with Lightroom was caused by QuickTime.

Now, Apple continues to Quicktime and recommend to uninstall! An urgent call to Action: uninstall QuickTime for Windows today -

So what LR without QT?

I suggest following this topic in Adobe official feedback forum: to be eliminated - Quicktime for Windows is no longer supported by Apple. Community customer Photoshop family.  The developers of Adobe products actively participate in this forum, this forum is essentially a technical support to users and low-level.

  • How to completely uninstall Adobe Updater?

    Greetings.

    I tried to completely remove Adobe Updater to my calculation machine, but I'm in trouble, as it seems to be stuck in there like a Gadfly on horseback ' arse. I uninstalled some toolbars very, very annoying in my time, and I deleted viruses that were much easier to remove than this thing Adobe Updater.

    What I tried:

    -Looking for an executable uninstall bloody.

    -Remove everything about Adobe somehow my computer.

    Needless to say, she always returned from the grave to haunt me. . How to purge this cursed software once and for all?

    Don't know what you're doing, but the AAMUpdater is just an entry in the registry. It won't go away, but you can prevent from ever launch. There is no other installation/uninstall. It comes with every Adobe App is trying to delete the files in the folder OOBE would be foolish and damage your Adobe programs...

  • Got a popup to install the new version of Adobe Updater - is legitimate, or software malware?

    Auto Adobe Updater wants to install a new version of itself.  Does not say what Adobe product, it relates to.  Everything I have on this laptop are the freebies - Reader, Flash, etc.  I don't know if there is an update, or several, one for each product.  I usually trust these popups, so I said 'yes '.  Then, I searched for "Adobe" C drive and found nothing newer than March 3.  My Updater version is still 5.  Nothing else happened, but while studying online, I found an update 'critical' to the reader was announced last month, and I have not yet.  So, I got manually 8.2.1, Reader then installed 9.3.1 later instead.  Called Adobe to see if these updates to the Updater are distributed, and they said «we do not support free software, go to the forums»  Therefore, even if my version is still 5, updater, never up to date me for an updated critical and I have no new files, I can trust that this popup was not for the distribution of malware?  Someone else do this popup?

    If you set up Adobe Reader to receive automatic updates, then it is this update (5 or 6) that opens like this.  Unfortunately, it doesn't tell you what update is about to download; only after download, it tells you what it installs.

    However, your attention is well founded; not sure if this is a legitimate process, or some kind of malware.

    Assuming you are using Windows, open the Task Manager and check if it really is the Adobe Updater that runs (AdobeUpdater.exe or AdobeUpdaterInstallMgr.exe).

    Adobe Updater guard popping up and telling me that I have some new updates. I click OK, I type my password, I watch the progress bar fill upward, but then instead of installing the updates, it keeps going back to the original window telling me that I have some new updates. I tried several times and restarted my computer, but it never ends install updates.

    I am new to Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, and I have two quick questions.

    1. Ctrl + K only works on 1 video, but not on the video 2, video 3, etc... Why?

    2. whenever I use Windows Live Movie Maker to convert video files, they import in the first half with superior video missing. I uninstalled security update kb2803821 and restarted my PC. It worked. But updates of Windows 7 all the time, so I will have this problem over and over again? And if so, how do I know what security update for every moment of the uninstall?

    I use the trial version of this software and want to know the answers to these questions before I committ and buy the complete thing. Thank you!

  • Inability of Adobe Updater

    I posted my frustration on the page Facebook of Adobe Photoshop because I couldn't find any easy way to contact Adobe about this.

    Among the people of support Adobe employs stranger "helped" with my latest updates of CS 5 - Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Lightroom 3. This online support person pushed the bad link to me and I ended up buying through the zone SET. (I discovered that after I found that I could not find a way to download my newly purchased files.)  BTW, which took about an hour to support online trying to help me find the download area, because I didn't have even a UID on the site of Adobe MIS. (I never should I have clicked on the link "help me" in the store.) I just wanted to know if there was a package update was more interesting financially that the manual update I already had in my cart!)

    Because I'm almost deaf, I'm afraid of using phones, except if I have to. Also, I had to try to raise the flag of support twice. The first 'partisan' would have made no sense with my purchase ID. It took the second person ~ 30 minutes until what they finally understood what had happened.

    Okay, finally all my products have been downloaded, and I finally installed.  (There were also a few complications with serial numbers.)

    Since then (near the beginning of this year), Adobe Updater continues to find updates for the products that I have, but when it tries to install the updates, it breaks down.

    I will try to join the .jpgs in the example of the failure window to THE.

    I do computer consulting to small businesses in New York City; This is often the kind of problems, I am constantly settle for my clients, but this really tops the list.

    I tried to remove 5 bookmarks and save a new bookmark, but it does not work.
    When I click on the bookmark star, stars in the bookmarks folder jumps, but does not record, it does not offer the possibility of filing in the subfolder right it me and the star is not awarded (there should be one filled with stars when the Web site is updated bookmark)

    Thank you for your help. I tried the maintenance of places without success. I have disabled xMarks, but it made no difference, I couldn't save all new bookmarks. I went on the site help above and deleted the "places.sqlite" file and recreates a new file, but it didn't work. I uninstalled Firefox full using IOBit Uninstaller and reinstalled, but I found this program does not delete the profile folder (used to have a checked during uninstall of Firefox, but it seems to have disappeared in the latest versions). The problem persisted.

    Finally, I took a screenshot of all my addons. Then, I uninstalled Firefox again, then delete the entire folder profiles (located very usefully described in the second link above https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Bookmarks+not+saved#w_fix-the-bookmarks-file )
    I reinstalled Firefox, reinstalled xMarks and connected and transferred all my favorites, I reinstalled all my previous addons and ALTO - it now everything works perfectly!

  • Window update: feedback from users - Suggestion of a new method of Update window

    Hello

    I would like to provide feedback on the method under the window OS update.

    I think it takes a lot of resources to update the window if the software must be reinstalled due to the change in disk hard of the PC or other reasons.

    It is expensive and takes time to download hours and hours of updates and service pack. The PC must be restarted over and over again, it takes a lot of time to do the job.

    I think the Update window should be more effective in the enemy better future customer satisfaction.

    Is is possible for Member States to change the current method of Update window?

    Maybe a well-designed Download Manager can be implemented.

    First of all, let check all necessary updates to the current operating system, let the Download Manager download all updates to an appointment. After that, the download manager should be able to decide what updates should be installed in the correct order. Let the Download Manager unzip and install the update at a time. The download manager should be able to reboot over and over again during this process without requiring the user to give directions.

    To reduce download time and cost, I would suggest that all the updates is in Zip file that could reduce the size of the file.

    To reduce the time to update for the whole process, I suggest this new design of the BONE that require less restarting the computer during the cumulative update.

    I believe that, with this new method of updating the window and change in operating system design, it could bring about greater efficiency of work at home and at work.

  • Impossible to uninstall Quicktime «a newer version of Quicktime is already installed...» »

    I have Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit with SP1. I tried to update Itunes and it told me that I needed to uninstall the current version and then reinstall. I did this several times without any problems. This time, when I uninstall it won't let me not uninstall Quicktime, Apple Application Support, or Apple update software.

    When I try to uninstall Quicktime I get the following message. "A newer version of Quicktime is already installed. This cannont installation proceed so that the most recent version of Quicktime is installed".

    When I try to uninstall the Application Support Apple and Apple update I get the message "the feature you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource."

    I installed Revo Uninstaller and it has removed a from there, but Quicktime and Apple programs are always in my programs on my computer. When I try to reinstall Itunes it says I already have a newer version of Quicktime and do not complete the installation.

    I'm completely frusterated. Help, please.

    We checked for the error message on the Apple discussion forums and found a similar question. users were able to solve the problem by manually deleting the existing components of iTunes.
