• Start window began to open randomly for no reason at all.

  I'm about 2 weeks ago and operating Windows 7 the start window began to open randomly for no reason at all. It remains open, then closes or it will close when I click on the screen what ever is open, BUT the start window could then reopen immediately.

  Everyone knows about it and how to stop. Should I go back to a restore point or is there another solution? Thank you!

• Important update fails several times for Service Enhancement Pack - gives "WindowsUpdate_00000783" "WindowsUpdate_dt000" with 783 an unknown error.

  Service Pack1, kept getting this error, should upgrade to service pack 2 (for Vista) - still getting this error. Somewhere, I found referance that this update has to do with some features of Internet Explorer. Could be as this box appears on occasion:

  I don't see any other negative effect of this failure of the update or the pop up box (they can not yet be linked).

  My partner is starting a computer business and computers it will buy will not have any OS. Should he buy a copy of windows on every computer? Or y at - it an exemplary single dealer that can be purchased which would allow to install windows on multiple computers.

  I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but since I did the update to 2015 CC from the CC app on the toolbar is constantly popping up for just... stupid stupid reasons. The most annoying is probably the internet disconnect reminders. Wifi disconnects briefly here and there (it's Comcast and we have already spent hundreds of hours waiting on the Tech support and goes to get the router replaced 6 times this year - so no, it is not best done) since the upgrade to CC2015 Adobe CC seems to have composed of frustration and to remember that the internet is out by switching me on the main Virtual Office , popping up and telling me it can't connect to the internet.

  Why it does this, and how it stop? I can just kill the process and prevent it from starting in the first place, but it's a pain in the butt when it comes to fonts typekit, synchronization, so ideally, I want to make it work if possible...

  Is it possible to have a shortcut on the desktop to launch a new window with several tabs? For example - home page is set to "www.google.com", but the shortcut opens new window with tabs "www.cnn.com" and "www.youtube.com".

  Then far,.../firefox.exe-nouveau-fenetre followed by the two URL in quotes will open two new windows. Entry - new-window "www.cnn.com" - new-tab 'www.youtube.com' will open two new windows if no instance of firefox is open, but if another window is already open, youtube will add a tab to the already open window, rather than the new window with cnn.com

• New windows created by links start not maximized

  37.0.1 on Windows 7 x 64, but this problem is currently using Firefox for a long time.

  When you click a link that opens a new window (IE a link using target = "_blank") the new window opens not maximized. For example on the http://www.protodave.com/tools/verifying-a-dkim-txt-record-and-key-length/ page when you click on the link "DKIM Key Checker" it opens the target page in a new window. The window opens not maximized. I currently Firefox custom displaying the bar title and Menu bar and I did not "open new windows in a new tab instead" checked.

  There is a workaround for this problem and that is to turn off the title bar in the Customize menu. When the title bar is not enabled then new windows properly open enlarged. The fact that Firefox causes the behavior expected when default mode as unwanted in the title-bar-enabled state title non-barre and reporting product behavior leads me to believe this is a bug or (hopefully) an obscure about: config option I was able to present descry.

  I prefer the active title bar and so I just live with the question, but it's no doubt aggravating. Help, please.

  Shift + click should open a window that has the same size of the window the link was clicked in.

  However, in Windows, if you move the window to the top right, it will automatically maximize (something to consider as a work around in the meantime)

  This issue is being tracked in bug 1005098, however there is no ETA when it will be worked on. It is proposed in the 38, but not implemented.

• Firefox opens new tabs in the form of tabs first, then move on to the new windows

  I'm running FF 14.0.1 and the problem has persisted through a number of versions.

  Initially FF will open new tabs... CTRL + t work, do a right click to open in a tab etc all work fine. Sometimes the tabs are now question and I can get maybe 20 or open several tabs. And then other times we seem to be an arbitrary limit, say 5 tabs, and then each new tab opens a new window. No external link opens in a new window, a Ctrl + t opens in a new window, all new windows are the only image, for example, you can have a number of windows each tell 5 tabs, just the original (for example) window 5 and then a series of windows with only unique pages in each, and which Ctrl + t doesn't open a new window.

  A full restart sometimes heals things and I can go back to have different pages in different tabs and then something... without obvious motive... launch us in the "new window only" mode after what even if I reduce the number of tabs in the original window many tabs, Ctrl + t opens only new windows.

  He's really starting to happen to me... I have searched the technical support information and wonder about a full reset or even uninstall and reinstall. places.SQLite is verified as valid and I also, have it reindexed all to no effect.

  • You can open the mode without failure of Firefox 4.0 + by pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

  Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

  If it's good in Firefox Safe mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

  Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I was not able to find this on the Internet or on this forum topic. I apologize in advance if it has been resolved.

  I have always go and often open my projects in my office.

  When I was Captivate 6.0, he would open a window and then, for each project, it would open a tab.

  After the update to Captivate 8, everytime I open a project, Captivate is still open in a separate/new window for each project!

  Is there a way to tell Captivate to ALWAYS OPEN NEW PROJECT in the current window, but the different tab?

  I tried to open a project in the menu bar (file > open > Select project), and still, it opens in a new window.

  In fact, I'm rather surprised to hear that any version of Captivate would simply open projects recurrence in the same instance, but in different tabs. New windows are what I fully expect if the plans to open by double-clicking them just from the office.

  I would never advise people to function in this way. My personal opinion is to open by Captivate to open first, then using the file > open (or Ctrl + O in Lilybiri jobs).
