Newb HDTV connection

Hello

I just bought a Vizio 47 inch LCD HDTV. I said that I can plug my Inspiron 9300 up to it to use the TV as a computer monitor screen. I have VGA cables that hang from the computer to the TV, but beyond actually hang them up, I don't know what to do with the settings-wise in order to take advantage of the TV as a monitor.  If it's important, I have a GeForce 6800 graphics card.  Thank you.

  • Newbie question: connect 260e for car radio?

My Toyota 2004 and 2001 Forester have not the input jacks audio that I could connect out the Sansa headphones in.

I thought I'd try to hack the radio and find a place that I could hack into a material, but that would probably be a nightmare because it would tax the limits of my electronics savvy and probably worse again, the process of removing the radios in cars is a buster knuckle real anyway.

Thus, outside of the option is not-very-acceptable to get a new sound system with Jack on the front panel, what are my options?

Both cars have players layer and I remember they used to be adapters autour who would take an audio input minijack and plug a fake tape in there and plays that way.

Any info on that? Any experience on this? All sources of these?

I suspect as it might be adapters that will take the output of the Sansa and will load on FM radio.

Any info or experience on this? All sources of these?

    Any recommendations? Suggestions?

    2603v1 with the latest firmware.

Get an adapter cassette for $3 on Ebay.

FM transmitters are much more expensive for much less useful. You need an empty space on your radio (tough in a town) dial, you need a transmitter that allows you to choose the frequency (some have certain fixed frequencies) and after my experience with a Belkin - same out in nowheresville - issuer derivative so that you lose the sound.

The cassette adapter is not as good as a direct AUX-in, but it's better than the transmitter.

  • Satellite P200 - no playback sound through Panasonic HDTV

Hi, I recently bought a laptop P200 and tried to read a DVD HD through my Panasonic HDTV, connecting the HDMI port from the laptop to the TV with an HDMI port cable HDMI and the connection of the headphone jack on the laptop with two audio jacks on the back of the TV. However, even if the image is very good, no sound is coming through the television.
I think I can be with view of something incredibly obvious, but someone at - it suggestions as to why can't no sound from my TV?

    Thank you!

    Hello

As much as I know using HDMI video Cable and audio signals will be sent to your TV. For this reason there is no need separate cable for the transfer of audio data. Please remove audio cable. Connect your laptop to the TV, use the FN + F5 key combination, and switch to the external device. Please use TV only.

Set the channel on the TV (HDMI port) and enjoy life. I have 32 Bravia LCD TV and everything works perfectly.

  • Big screen for the new Mac Pro

Looking to buy a new Mac Pro.  I like to work while sitting on the couch with my feet supported, but a laptop is not very good for usability, and my neck has had enough.  So, I think trying to upgrade a number of things and to combine the entertainment center with work stations, so I can do both comfortably from my couch.  Ideally I would love it if Apple made a gigantic Retina display, but as they do not have, my current theory includes a 48 "-52" class 4 K HDTV connected to a surround sound via HDMI system, which hangs in turn a blu - Ray player and a Mac Pro via HDMI.

If someone has done something similar?  I'm assuming that, unlike the old flat screen TV model at work sometimes I mirror my iPad on, a 4 K Pixelize text.  Is this correct?  Or should I still the same problem?  As far as the projectors are a pain, which is the only really good solution here?  Any other question, I would need to know that displays the parameters or incompatibilities if I went with the 4 K HDTV?

May be useful to take a look at http://www.macrumors.com/guide/4k-5k-displays-buyers-guide-mac/ which covers the 4 K screen with Apple hardware support pretty well.

You will encounter one of the limits is the HDMI output on the current Mac Pro supports only 4K at 30 Hz not full 60 Hz, which we are used to on most screens. You can watch a form of Thunderbolt to the HDMI connection for display to work properly at 60 Hz.

  • Pavilion 550-203na: what audio tracks are necessary

I have a pavilion PC 550-203na which has realtak audion HDTV connected to an AOC12369VM monitor that integrates speakers.

I have connected the monitor with a HDMI cable

When I right click the sound icon in the lower right corner of my screen it says "Realteak speakers high definition audio not connected."

Can I also connect a cable to the audio jack on the back of the computer? I tried this and didn't get any noise coming from the screen, speakers.

If I plug headphones in the fron decision-making then I hear of them and the sound icon shows "Realtek high definition audio connected speakers"

    I am now confused

    Hello:

If you normally can get her off the monitors with a HDMI cable, on your PC, you must go to control panel > hardware and sound > Sound (click on manage Audio devices) and select the exit HDMI AMD.

Sound comes from the AMD graphics card that has your PC via the HDMI cable.

The Realtek HD audio feeds a separate set of speakers, or you can plug the clear green audio cable to both the port on the back of the PC audio output and audio in port on your monitor (if it exists), stage monitors that would work a lot too.

  • Qosmio x 870 - 13v - steam & uplay late games when you only use the battery

Today I used my Qosmio test only to initially battery my HDMI with my HDTV connection.
With FAR CRY 4 on Uplay.
    But I've had shifts.
Then I tested it without HDMI and Holy, same problem.

My mothercard have been changed on November by Toshiba, I also changed my SDD for a Crucial MX200 Flash SSD 2.5 "1000 GB SATA III - CT1000MX200SSD1 internal drive...

I never played games before all these changes using the battery only, then, I wonder what are those slowing problem & gal.
When using the power plug, games work well.

Any ideas? HWWMonitor shows 7% on the State of the battery.

    TKS for the advice,
    G2MARS

After an internet search, I discovered that most laptops meet peformance same 'problem' with battery only. On top, the battery will be rejected so fast that it is useless to play all the games. Conclusion: find a plug or travel business only on the class if you want to play.

    Hello, Ridman12

How do you have connected TV? Are you using HDMI, VGA, S-video or Composite?

Depending on the connection type, your main monitors resolution may be too big for the TV to manage.

Try setting your monitors main resolution to 1024 x 768 or 640 x 480 and test whether clones it correctly or not.

    =====================================
Your new Sony XR155E is a hard drive camcorder... Film
Maker is designed to import via firewire mini-DV tapes.

    See the article by fpollowing:

    Windows Vista-
    Import video from a videotape

I guess the best way would be to download a video
folder on your hard drive, convert to a compatible format
with Movie Maker and then edit.

Or the Sony software might be worth a try:

  • Windows 7 Media Center can't find my DLNA certified DMP (an LG BD390 Blu - ray player model network).

I have a Player LG Blu - ray wireless connected to my home network.  Configuration of the network connection to the format Blu - ray says it is successful, and it is capable of downloading movies on the shared internet connection.  My management software from the network router (WRT610N model) Cisco Linksys® Network Magic Pro displays the Blu - ray player on its network card device.  LG Blu - ray player is a certified DLNA DMP (digital media player) device and the software supplied LG Nero MediaHome 4 (Server DLNA media graduate) successfully concludes the LG Blu - ray device when it starts.  So far, I've been unable to get the Windows 7 Media Center (supposed to be a media graduate DLNA server) to find my network Blu - ray player.  But the problem is more than just that the Media Center do not find my network device, even the 7 network and sharing Center window is not this network device when I select «View full map»  When I go to printers and devices on Windows 7 and select 'Add a device', it does not find my device of network Blu - ray player that passes by the Cisco Network Magic software and Nero MediaHome 4 software.  So what prevents the network of Microsoft Windows 7 software and Media Center software to my LG Blu - ray network player?

Media Center Extender technology owns and uses any DLNA.
I don't know why Umesh from Microsoft Support thought it was possible. You
will not be able to set up your Blu Ray drive as an Extender. You CAN use
Windows Media Player READ ON technology and streaming technology. You will not be
be able to use your new drive LG Blu - ray network as an extension inside the
    Media Center interface.

  • How to connect Equium A100-306 to HDTV?

    Hello

I was wondering if it was possible to connect my Equium A100-306 to my HDTV using a VGA cable component? The laptop has the chipset intel 945g.

    Thank you.

    Hello

You cannot convert only a RGB (VGA) signal to component (Y-Pr-Pb), since you will need a converter that transforms the signal vga to this component.

Which means that you also a converter for cable that could be very expensive. But if you've got components that you should be able to display an image on a device that has entry components. Don t think you will be able to run the HD-ready or full HD on a HD TV, since a HD signal requires an HD port on your computer and a disk hard taking supported system with better graphics chip and then a chipset intel.

    Welcome them

  • What kind of cable should I buy to connect my iMac (late 2009) on my HDTV?  It seems that I have a mini view port on the back.

I would like to connect my iMac (21.5 inch display on a recent model of 2009) on my HDTV.  I live in rural and can not get dish or cable TV.  I like to watch movies on Amazon on television.  The back of my monitor a firewire, mini display port and ethernet as well as USB ports.

Why not get an Apple TV? There are currently two versions available, the most recent being about $150, the previous version is on sale for $69 (was $ 100 until the new came a month or two ago) by Apple, maybe from a local retailer. You can then broadcast a wide variety of content wirelessly on your TV TV & film. I have a $100 models, and it runs great on my i - Mac.

    Hi gilbo225,

There are a few options you have, according to which ports are available on your TV.

    What is your TV? http://www.TigerDirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5687623

If it is your TV, so you can connect your PC using the "PC in ports", which are the VGA and audio port to connect to the back of your TV. He just use a standard VGA cable for the video, and then run the audio cable from the green line to the port of exit at the back of your PC in PC in audio port on the TV.

Then simply select PC as the video source on your TV.

You should still be able to get high-definition video via the VGA input as long as you set your display settings on the PC up to 1920 x 1080.

I have my PC set in place at home in this same configuration, but with a different brand TV. It works very well.
