Newb T61 ssd music glitch stuttering!

Hi all, new here, but read the posts on this forum for about 6 months, I recently replaced the hard drive, ssd, amazing difference and boots of machine in 15 seconds, however playback music from YouTube or the ssd in BALANCED power mode live there is an occasional glitch, say one or two times a minute just a quick Pépin in music that is quite annoying glitch about half a second at most, but enough to be noticeable and annoying! Even in setting HIGH PERFORMANCE through the Manager of power, but not in POWER SAVE mode? Why is this? Any ideas? Power saving mode, the problem does not exist. Very strange. What to do with when CPU stepping takes place in the other 2 as standby mode the CPU is located at 798 mhz, I look forward to some ideas, thank you.

Update, this issue has stopped? on all power settings, there is no other Audio interference? I have no idea how it came all sorry? Maybe the update of windows (win8) set something! Now I can use my laptop to mix again without fear of a glitch/stutter!

  • Stuttering bleutooth audio stream spotify on new IOS 9.3.1

Since a few days I experienced some very annoying problems with streaming audio of Spotify on my bluetooth radio.

The music guard stuttering and it's even worse when I use my iPhone at the same time, for example, when I'm listening to music and unlock my iPhone the music stutters. also when I do nothing at some point the music begins to stutter.

before I had no problem at all and that I could do whatever I wanted with my iPhone and always listening to music without stuttering!

I checked if the problem is on the other music applications like youtube and apple music streaming, but it seems to stutter only on Spotify...

normally, I'd say it's just the fault of Spotify and I'll wait for a bug fix, but the strange thing is that the problems started when I got the new IOS.

I tried with my old iphone 4 with IOS 8 and which works very well...

    Help, please

Edit: I have already searched the forum of spotify and discovered that more users (ios 9) have the same problem...

Have you ever force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo comes back again?

You won't lose data, but force the reboot can cure some problems after installing new software or applications.

  • Need help aligning the SSD to install Windows XP Pro (32 bit)

OK, I scoured the internet for help on this one - I'm a newbie to SSD - so having to manually align the partitions and find FITTINGS utilities to take care of the "Crusher" is all new to me - so the answers I found on the net were to "over my head" for my last neuron remaining cope!

The machine is an Asus Eee PC 901/XP - that belongs to a friend of mine. These netbooks have 1 x 4 GB SSD and 1 x 8 GB SSD - I installed XP Pro SP3 on the 8 GB and got to boot from it - only problem is not only slow, but essentially unusable in this same open my computer with no other progs running takes a good 30-45 seconds - and actually run the progs just cripple it.

After checking the CPU in Tsk Mgr was sod all, that there is plenty of available RAM (I upgraded to 2 GB = max mobo aura), I can only imagine that - now that I've done some reading on these SSDS - the (main?) cause of the non-existent performance is the fact that I have (in my ignorance) doesn't have to align the partitions before installing the operating system.

I got a 8 GB disk image - using a prog called 'Snapshot' - as I read it, I should be able to then use this image to replace the disk of 8 once I have the aligned partition (this image is now on the 4 GB drive), without messing up alignment - so no doubt I need to align the 4 GB drive as well.

So, after all that waffle that I would be really happy is a walk of models by using Diskpar (if someone can point me to a working bind it to d/l 1!) -or Diskpart, which I think I can run from my recovery disc of Win7 (from my Dell laptop) - I know that I've seen people talk about running it from a Vista recovery disk, so guess it of the same tool and can help me to do the same job.

I think I need to remove the volume (?) on the 8 GB, before I can do any alignment - then, as it is currently the only player with a job o/s on this subject, is it possible by booting from the recovery disc too?

Just for the record the Tech Support Asus was desperate - also, their support for the "Eee" family forum have been down for weeks - then were not able to ask people who have probably all done on this machine!

    Thank you

    Jon

    Hello

Unfortunately, this is not supported in computer ASUS; You should continue to contact ASUS for support.

In another thread on this forum I read that some users have solved the problem by actually uninstalling a windows patch, the patch "KB952287' (Vista users).
I don't know if it will work for you.

Can you please check that and inform us of the results.

By the way: have you noticed this behavior from the first day or a few days later?

  • Jump in the middle of an audio track streaming on various sites causes the stuttering and audio glitch

    Hello

Please refer to this thread for support on the technical support of SoundCloud forums. The thread contains all relevant information, including videos of the screenshots problem and console, made by myself and others. https://www.soundcloudcommunity.com/SoundCloud/topics/skipping-to-the-middle-of-a-track-causes-stuttering-and-glitchy-audio-chrome-Firefox

In short, when you try to move forward for streaming audio, there is a memory buffer/stuttering problem that prevents a correct reading of the track. This problem is confirmed on SoundCloud and Traxsource and other people in the support thread mentioned Mixcloud and other streaming sites. In other words, it is not the special streaming service fault or another.

The problem does not occur in Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer or Chrome. Well, to clarify, when the issue was published on SoundCloud support forums, Chrome was having the same problem. However, they made a version a few days ago thrust, that fixed it.

Here's my original on the SoundCloud support post (less), which has the relevant details. Note that we have updated both Flash and Firefox recently, so although I have mentioned earlier in my original post, everyone involved has since updated their browsers and Flash.

From now on, the only solution for the problem is to go back to Firefox 40.0.2. Thanks for any help =)

    Matt

    Original message =.

Jump in the middle of a track causes the stuttering and audio glitch (Firefox).

I am running Windows 10 Pro.

There seems to be a problem of caching that affect reading - I started noticing this problem three or four days ago. Previously, I could jump through my feeds at will, go straight until the middle of the tracks or mixes of listen seconds and determine if I liked the track. Now, I can't do it on Firefox 41.0.1. The problem is simply annoying on songs that are 3 or 4 minutes in length, as I must leave "cache" maybe ten seconds before jumping. Unfortunately, the problem is a game-breaker on mixtures which, for example, are 90 minutes long. If I jump to a point directly in the middle of the combination, nothing happens. The play button alternates between the 'Play' symbol and the symbol of 'Caching' ('... "), and so audio resumes, it is glitchy and consists of different parts of the track being played at the same time.

I've eliminated my internet connection as the source of the problem by loading on board. On the edge of 20.10240.16384, the problem does not exist. I can scroll down to any mix of 2 hours in my stream, click on the middle of it, and the audio starts right up. No caching, without stuttering or glitching.

I drove back Flash version 18 to see if it solved the problem in Firefox, but it did not. The problem persisted, so I re-updated to Flash 19.

Yes, I understand how all versions and updates to work. I meant it as a generation of powder magazine. My bad.

I consider this problem to be solved. Several different pre-release versions of Firefox have solved the problem; I have personally used both of them that work perfectly. A representative of Bugzilla stated that the patch will be integrated into Firefox 42, which will be released on 3 November.

  • streaming music in firefox stuttering and works in Internet Explorer

  • Bluetooth music stuttering - IOS 9.3.1 Iphone 6

This problem is with my Toyota 4 2016 runner via bluetooth only. Note that I can play with success of music via bluetooth with other devices, wireless speaker, etc.

This occurs intermittently when you play pandora, spotify or other radio applications, is the music stutters and jumps. The only way to fix it is to disconnect the bluetooth of my phone and reconnect, then it works. The Bluetooth worked very well in the car with the music apps in the last update of IOS. What I did to try to fix the problem:

    1. Do you have a factory reset and backup of the phone and IOS.
    2. The radio did a hard reset of the bluetooth for the phone connection, sense had the car audio system forget the device and find him. I did this several times before and after the #1 above.
    3. Did a hard reset of the phone several times, before and after the #1 above.

Phone calls and voice commands of the car work fine. It is limited to music via bluetooth applications only. Any thoughts on what is the problem?

The same goes for Ford Focus 3

  • Satellite C50-A-1 - drone & sound glitches, listening to music

    Hello

I became aware of a hum in the background when you listen to music on my laptop through my headphones and also sound glitches random when you browse the internet and listen to music.

Just wondering if anyone has encountered this and what could be the solution?

    Hello

Have you noticed this problem only using earphones or the audio problem appears also using speakers?

In my case, this has happened in two cases: speakers and headphones.
I noticed this while making and record music, but with a different computer from another manufacturer.

I studied a little and for most of these issues are related to the latency.
    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/latency _ (audio)

Audio latency is the time between entry into an audio signal and when it is clear a system. And if you set the latency on the lower level (low is better than the top) the CPU would be overloaded and this dirty gurgling noise would appear.

In my opinion you should not run and use too many applications in the background while listening to the music, because the CPU (Intel Celeron N2820) in this notebook is not the fastest, and 4 GB of RAM would be quickly blocked by other processes.

  • Please download a video on how to put a traditional HARD drive to SSD on lenovo t61

can someone please upload a video showing how to change a traditional HDD to the SSD on lenovo t61, help appreciated thanks

    Hi ghattiya,

Removing and replacing the HARD drive, assuming the same form factor, are shown in the Lenovo training videos.

To get advice on how to clone the drive or do a clean install, I suggest to start by searching the forum.

  • How to level a T61 HDD for one SSD without reinstall?

Hi all. I bought this ThinkPad, I write with back in 2008 (a T61 6465-CTO with Vista and Intel integrated graphics) and he has been working a lot to me since then. I had no problems with it and his equipment is still able to manage what I have to do. However, I wanted to move her to an SSD HARD drive is faster and snappier. I know that I have would be limited at SATA1 speeds with this camera if I don't want to change the BIOS (which I did not), but I think that even this would be a great improvement on the existing HARD drive.

To that end, I recently bought an SSD that their prices have dropped slightly (bought a new 120 GB SSD Samsung 840 for less than $100). I said SSD sitting next to me now but I did nothing yet because I want to make sure that I have the right to clone the old disk and swap in the new process. From what I understand instructions, I should:

1 turn on the computer, install the Samsung Data Migration Software
    2. connect the SSD to a USB port via a USB-SATA Adapter
3 clone the main for the SSD connected HARD drive using the software of data Migration
    4. turn the computer off, physically remove the old HDD and SSD in its place
5 turn on the computer and everything should be fact/same as before (with the exception that the computer has a new storage drive)

    Is this correct?

The HARD drive is encrypted so I removed the password for user/master I have to enter when it starts up, but what I have to do the same for the BIOS password that I am invited to when you turn on the computer? What the hidden; restore partition would clone too much or it would be lost. The HARD drive is in my opinion a 160 GB model, while the SSD is 120 GB but I have read that this difference in capacity should not be a problem since I'm using less of the new disc capacity (I have about 100 GB of free space on the HARD disk)?

Sorry for all the questions. I have very little experience when it comes to changes in the software/hardware and I really would like to avoid wasting it so I would appreciate any help from people who have knowledge fact how to do this successfully. Thank you.

The installation that you want to be cloning is optimized for spinning a player - not SSD - and you would have to align in a first time, disable the services later and again, you would not get the performance of a "clean" installation

You can use any disk Vista installation as long as it matches the version (Home, Pro, full) on your COA - the worst that can happen is that you would have to call MS and activate by phone.

I had the question why you want to the outdated drivers and other bloat Lenovo recovery partition on expensive SSD space as well, but it's your call. If you provision the reader - and I think you should - you won't initially that much space...

TRIM running manually is certainly a possibility, but not one that I'm particularly sharp, especially on a small disc of TLC as the Samsung you have. You will need to be on it for not to have slow down for analysis.

    Good luck.

  • Intel SSD 530 in T61

I think I have an Intel 530-series SSD for my T61 6466 - 5WG which I will put on Centos or Fedora. I know that this drive is a SATA of 3 classes capable of 6 Gbps, while the T61 is limited to 1.5 Gbps, it is very good that I'll later the SSD for a faster laptop.

Does anyone have a 530-series Intel running in a T61? The exact model designation is SSDSC2BW240A4K5 from Intel, a 240 GB drive.

    Thank you.

    Welcome to the forum!

Although I prefer the 320 series, 530 will work correctly in a T61.

There is also a modded BIOS (non-Lenovo) that unlocks the SATA II speeds on * 61 series.

Just like info - happy update.

Also, the blue light around the wheel turns and the new at the same time.
