  I'm trying to fix the old laptop from my brother. It's a Toshiba satellite p300-23f. The laptop did not work well, so he bought another. I think he might have a problem with the HARD drive, but I'm not sure about this and want to try to format the HARD drive and reinstall the operating system.

  To be honest I m P300 owner but not the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 is known as M96 ATI with DDR3 (1 GB) of graphics ram.
  I think that it s is not easy to say some details about the exact chip GPU clock speed because it of always different. It depends on the use of the laptop and the temperature.
  You must know that the performance of the GPU are controlled by the graphics driver and if the temperature increases to a critical level, that the pilot might slow down the chip so decreases the heat dissipation.

  The temperature of the processor and HARD drive depends on the use of the laptop too.
  If you run games high performance, then the temperature increases to a higher level and would be higher than the execution of only a few common tools such as MS Office Word for example.

  However maybe someone could put some values and details, it would be really interesting.

  Win XP drivers are OK but your laptop was equipped with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 graphics card and the driver on the page supports only Mobility Radeon HD 34xx/36xx chips graphics!

  I have some problem with my Satellite P300-161.
  He is running on MS Vista and I get random freezing with the computer laptop everything.

  By freezing, I hear every application that runs past to the mode "not responding" and it freezes for about 10 seconds, then after 10 seconds or so everything will return to normal.   At first, I must say that there is no difference between Vista Home Premium and Ultimate. All Toshiba tools are designed to be used for all versions of Vista. So if you install all the stuff from the download page of Toshiba you should have the same State as the original preinstalled Vista Home Premium. Tools and utilities are the same, and also features are absolutely identical.

  All that you have done is just. VAP is package and contains requests for follow-up:

• Satellite P300 keep gel

  Toshiba Satellite P300 kept freezing and Windows install did not work; then backed up all the files via the safemode, restored with factory settings but no 2nd partition.

  Everything went well with the new facility until went to IE, about 10th window IE it froze again, but Windows install at least worked. If hard, close, back to safe mode, restore factory again - same thing.
  I have no restore disks.

  Satellite P300 has been bundled with Windows Vista and the recovery image is recorded on the second partition of HARD drive in the folder called HDDRecovery.
