Newbie here... memory card question

Strange question, but here it is.  It will harm the card or device if it is left in the slot during the night or during an extended period of time (never more than a few days at most)?  Thanks in advance!

Thank you!  I am happy of my bad habits turned out be a good.

Hello ev1. Can a 32 GB SDHC UHS - I be used in the model 32 GB wireless flash drive? Did not know if the UHS - I would be a problem or not. I don't think it would be, seems sound compatible with all SDHC architectures, but I wanted to make sure. In addition, is the speed of the WiFi using the "n" Protocol for speeds. Somewhere around 30 MB/s? the 300 Mbs/s thank you for any response to this, it's appreciated! I think I bought the memory card, is a stretch, since it is rated @ 90 MB-reading / 80 MB / writing

Yes this card will work. the issue of compatibility only for the 32 GB model is with SDXC cards, because the 32 GB model does not support exFAT.

  • Smartphones blackBerry memory card question

I want to delete everything on my memory card 2 GB SD. How do I do this on my BB 8310 curve? And which will remove all the songs and the names of the songs out of the list of songs of music and media? Thanks for the help.

Use the Options > Media Card > Menu > command Format, and yes it will completely erase ALL the music on the map card. If you have music on the device's memory, it is not clear that.

Similarly, playlists, etc., are stored in the device memory. But after that you have the formatted card playlists should clearly where the songs on the map of support have been removed.

  • Question from Newbie blackBerry Smartphone memory card

I have recently entered the world of BB and am happy with my curve 8330 from Sprint. I am down encryption and have scoured all the online info, I can find as well as the manual. I'm barely scratching the surface of all uses and features, and while I am old guy when it comes to computers (50) and am not an expert, I'm not afraid of technology either and am eager to learn. I have a few simple questions (I hope) that I could use some help/advice for.

    (1) the BB came with a 1 GB card and I also bought a 2 GB card. If I want to change the 2 GB card, I have to do and what items/app will be affected by the swap? I'm not sure if the BB has an internal memory and the memory card, and what exactly is used to by the BB memory card. And what are the benefits to upgrade me to the 2 GB card;

    (2) If an email I rec'v has an attachment which is a video, I can't play (although no problems with photo attachments) is at - it an app I want to download on the BB for videos, and if so how can I do this and where to get the application? I've never downloaded an app on the BB before and am not sure exactly how do;

    (3) is at - he an advtage to connect to a Wifi hotspot from your mobile operator in some cases and my 8330 allows a wifi connection and how do I configure it if so.

Thanks for anyadvice and help that you can lend... I'm new to this but am fascinated by the possibilities.

If media files are on your device memory, it just load Media Manager into the Desktop Manager and move on.

  • Questions of memory card.

During the installation of memory cards, cards must be the same number of MB or can they be mixed? As in 1-512 and 1 to 256?

If the maximum memory card for my computer is 1 G, I can use 2 - 512 MB cards?

    Hi FredPoett,

Adding additional memory cards are totally dependent on the available slots in the motherboard.

There is no need to add the size of the cards that they can be of different sizes.

Your rocket will read any SD (up to 2 GB) or SDHC (4-16GB) card. Basically any micro- size card will work.

That is what do the adapter and do I need?

The adapter which come with a lot of cards 'micro' allow you to use the same card in devices that use cards larger size 'mini' & 'full' as digital cameras. Some computers (especially laptiops) also have a port for larger maps, so this adapter would directly connect the card to the computer to charge to the top rather than the Add/Remove while the card is in the reader.

    You don't necessarily need it.

You can load or remove music, videos, photos & while the card is in the "rocket". Simply connect to the computer. It will be recognized as separate the 2 drives in internal vs external memory in MTP mode or MSC mode. But if you have one of the above on your computer ports or a card reader, you can do it too much.

    Thanks in advance.

I use Windows 7 and my printer is HP PHOTOSMART 5520

I've done it before, and it worked fine, so I don't understand why it won't work this time.

I put the memory card into the slot, my printer is connected wireless to my laptop, can someone help me please

    Kind regards

    Hello

I understand you want to transfer your photo from your memory card on your computer using the printer, but at the moment, you are not able to.

Here is an overview of the steps required to make this work:

    Map the network drive

    (1) turn on the product and make sure that it is connected to the network.

    (2) Insert the memory card into the slot of the player card on the product.

    (3) find the host name (network name) from the network configuration page.

    "Printing a Network Setup Page"

    (4) on the Windows taskbar, click the Start button, right-click computer, and then click on map network drive.

    A network drive opens.

    (1) in the drop-down list player, select an available drive letter.

    (2) find the hostname from the network configuration page. In the folder field, type (without the brackets):

\\(The Host Name You found previously in Step 3) \Memory_Card

NOTE: Do not use the Browse button, or mapping may fail.

    (3) check box to reconnect to the opening if it is not checked.

    4) click Finish.

Now, the network drive is mapped.

Access the files on the memory card

    (1) the product must be on and connected to the network to access the files on the memory card.

    (2) on the Windows taskbar, click the Start button, and then click computer.

    3) double-click the letter and host name of the reader on the printer.

The images and the folders of the memory card will appear.

Please let me know if it works for you, thank you.

  • max 6 d memory card format

Don't know if there is an answer to this question. I see others asking also, what is the Maximum memory card format that will probably work in the 6 d?

I checked the manual, I checked store descriptions, no one seems to know the answer to this question.

Someone here has never used a map of 64 or 128g in the 6 d? What are your results?

    TIA,

    Craig

You don't have to worry about the limit, at least not with anything on the market today. The 6 d can read two FAT and exFAT format the card, so it should be able to see up to 512 TB of cards at least. But it only supports SDXC, so the upper limit should be 2 TB.

There are some people have already tested the Lexar 256 GB SDXC with the 6 d and it works fine. Here's a review: http://www.technologyx.com/pc-hardware/storage/lexar-professional-600x-sdxc-uhs-1-256gb-card-review-...

  • How to use your printer as a memory card reader

Have you ever wanted to open the files in the memory card reader, on the printer, with the (Windows) computer?

Is the printer connected via Ethernet or wireless?

    * If the answer to both of these questions is YES, then this is the solution for you.

First step: find the host name of the network printer

    • Print the printer Network Configuration report
    • In the upper field, more information, locate the host name of the printer

Second step: right-click on computer or workstation

Step 3: Select map network drive

Step 4: select an available drive letter

Fifth step: path or a folder, enter: \\hostname\Memory_Card , then press on finish or Ok

Now, you can open the assigned drive letter and find the files on the card memory or USB connected to the printer.

  • Remove the SDHC memory card on Clip + 8

My apologies for what probably sounds like a stupid question.

I recently bought a Sansa Clip + 8 and I love it. I also added that a SanDisk SDHC 16 card brand.

Here's my problem. My memory card is almost full. I got a few drafts more so I can pass the according to what I want to listen to music, but

I can't get the player card.

How all he does? I can barely feel the edge of the map. And when I try to draw it seems not to want to move. I'm afraid to raise as I don't want to break the card or drive.

    Thank you.

The delicate sod is actually spring-loaded (and it has a powerful spring - I lost a card 8 GB from there - so beware!). With the help of your finger or nail, press the card more (probably the opposite of what you thought), and then gently move your finger back - map should Gush. Given my chance sooner, I leave the card and location covered by my hand when I do now, in the case where the card pops out a little, uh, energetically...

  • RAM memory card compatibility

    HP Pavilion dv6-1230ec

    Windows 7 64 bit

    Hello

I would like to know if I could install in my memory card new of NTB (as described above), exactly "" Patriot DDR2 SO-DIMM 4 GB PC2-5300 SL "- features here: site manufacturer . "

Today, I have the original parts in Notepad. I would like to replace the 1 GB card for the Patriot 4 GB card and have therefore 6 GB of RAM.

The biggest problem in my opinion is, that the original maps are 400 Hz and the news is 667Hz.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks for the reply.

    Hello:

Your model supports 800 Mhz chips. Why there only 400 MHz chips in there is beyond me!

It's terrible. There is such a thing as a chip memory PC2-3200, but I have never seen one.

But to answer your question, 800 MHz memory will run at the speed of the slower memory chip in the machine.

This means that all 6 GB runs at 400 MHz, until you get another module of memory 4 GB PC2 - 6400.

  • OJ6480 am not able to import photos from the memory card inserted in the printer to laptop?

I can't import pictures from my memory inserted in my OJ6480 card.  I am connected with USB and nothing appears automatically after you insert card.  Also, I used the menu photo option and he doesn't want me to import.  Help, please!  Thank you.

    Hi cafahr,

I understand you are trying to print photos from a memory card.

I find the user manual for Officejet 6480 and found the following.

After taking pictures with your digital camera, you can print them immediately or save them on your computer. To save the pictures on your computer, remove the memory card from your digital camera and insert it into the slot for card memory on the device.

    To save your photos

NOTE: Use these instructions only when you use a network connection. If you are using a USB connection, then a dialog box appears automatically on the computer when you insert the memory card into the device.

    1. Insert a memory card into the suitable location on the device.
    2. press on the picture Menu.
    3. press the arrow keys and select Photo transfer and then press OK.
    4. press the arrow keys, and then select Yes.
    5. press the arrow keys and select transfer to computer, and then select the name
    of your computer.
6 follow the prompts on the screen on your computer to save the photos to your
    computer.

From what you described, the question is simple, the dialog box does not appear on the computer. What happens if you start it > computer or workstation? Do you see something here that looks like it could be the card into the printer?

Try to leave the printer and unplug the power cable (with the inserted memory card), leave the printer unplugged for about a minute and then plug it back. I want to see if this will push the communication to the computer.

Have you used this memory card in the printer before successfully? I ask because the problem may be the memory card or the memory card reader in the printer. Take a look at this link, memory card troubleshooting.

I hope it's useful. If the problem persists, please return with answers to the questions I asked, I'll gladly do some additional research and return with possible solutions. Please also let me know if you use a Mac or a WIndows OS.

  • Memory card blackBerry Smartphones

    Hi all

Not sure if this has been discussed before and I apologize if it has.  I'm looking on microSDHC memory cards for my bberry.  Someone had problems with one of these based on its size?  I thought to put in a 8 GB card, but the site says to be careful if your camera is capable of handling a memory card of this size.  I'm guessing that this isn't a problem, but shaped I spare me the penalty and fees if a card that large will not work.

    Thanks for your help.

OOOOO one more question.  Does anyone know how to change the text message tone?  ICAN not for the life of me find a way to do it.

    Thank you

    Alex

The media card size is depending on your OS. Read more here:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB05461&sliceId=SAL_Pub...

To change your SMS alert tone:

    1. Select the profiles icon

    2. a box will appear where you can quickly choose between Loud, vibrate, quiet, normal, phone only, and outside. If you like quick-change device profiles and select the one you want and get out.

    3. If you want to change the tones assigned to the applications in the device, and then select the last option, advanced options
(some older models and 'Advanced' OS 4.1 and below will not step - so advanced is not present go directly to step 4 below).

    4. Select the profile you want to change. (Loud, vibrate, quiet, Normal (default), phone only, Off)
Note: on the 8100, 8800 and 8300 models: do not click on the trackball. Instead of this, click on the menu button to the left of the trackball).
Note: The profile that is in use will tell: (active)

    5. you will now see a list of all applications that can have an assigned tone (browser, calendar, level 1 Messages, Messages ([email protected]), Messenger, MMS, phone, SMS, job ect..)

    6. Select the application you want to change the tone / notification for

    7. you can now edit the tones of the case and Holster / notifications.
    (a) select between: none, Tone, vibrate, vibrate + tone
    (b) select the range that you want to use
    (c) Select Volume (the options are mute, low, medium, high, climbing)
    (d) to select the number of beeps (the options are 1, 2, 3)
    (e) select Repeat Notification (options are None, flashing LED)
    (f) if value vibrator or vibrate + tone and select number of Vibrations (the options are 1, 2, 3)

    8. repeat a to e for each of the applications set out in number 5 above
