• Various Newby Questions on get Podcasts on iTunes

  I want to download podcasts (.mp3 files) to iTunes 2 Web sites that I administer - one is a WordPress ( http://www.hopeandpassion.org/?page_id=232 ) site and one is a non-WordPress ( http://www.norwinalliance.org/audio-links.php ) site. There are about 50 podcasts on the WordPress site and about 600 podcasts on non-WordPress site.  50 podcasts on the WordPress site are provided as links on a static page.

  I am new to the FEED RSS and iTunes.

  To the WordPress site, I figured out what to do for one of the 50 podcasts: I took the link for the podcast and published in a new blog, so I used the mechanical press to set up my RSS feeds ( http://www.cobwebinc.com/wordpress/feed/podcast/ ), I created a graph for the power and gave the link for it to power press I went to iTunes and downloaded the link RSS feed for assessment, iTunes has approved the upload and this unique podcast is now on iTunes. I have a few questions:

  Publication of 49 new blog posts for others 49 podcasts downloaded on iTunes?

  Do I need to go to iTunes 49 times and him give the link of the RSS feed appears each time I publish another blog article? If so, the RSS link is always the same. How iTunes knows that there is a new podcast?

  OK: it's important to get the right terminology, or we will go along in circles. Your links feed a podcast called "Cobweb computer Services Inc. The podcast is all 'wrapper' for the episodes; you have so far only an episode. Shortly, you will add more (as you say there is a lot on the site) and these should be called episodes, no podcasts. In order to add more episodes, all you have to do is add to food. No action is necessary. Subscribers will see the new episodes fast enough; Usually, it takes 1 to 2 days for new episodes to appear in the store. The store will recognize that there are new episodes without having to tell him.

  I guess you don't really want your podcast to be called "Cobweb computer Services Inc." since the site is called "Hope and Passion" so you can change the title in the "title" tag in the feed.

  Your stream is in your server, cobwebinc.com, in a folder (directory) called "podcast" in a folder called 'feed' in a folder at the root level called "wordpress". To make changes in the diet, you just need to change the details everywhere where you originally entered them and re-post the flow.   The other site seems to be exactly that, a site with no RSS service. You will probably need to use Wordpress or one of the other services or programs of creation of podcast and annotates them manually.

• Newby Question about downloading Podcasts and play on music video more

  I get my new podcasts from a variety of sites of English radio (six or seven), including CBC, BBC, NPR, etc..

  I use MS Vista with FLOW RSS to download.

  I noticed that some of the podcasts automatically from one to the other on my video play, and I noticed that some of them are grouped in the other subdirectories, and I have to fix each subdirectory to play these. What I understand reading this Sansa community site, my camera Clip done automatically for me.

  On my very old mp3 player, he would like to download all my podcasts in a directory and I play a podcast to the next, non-stop. For me, it was easy and without violin.

  If they are in the folder podcast on the player, they should all be available in the submenu of podcast. Some may be listed as unknown though, if their title tag is missing. When you navigate using the submenu podcast, this is done using the title tag. Why edit tags that may be missing or in error is a good idea.

  You could use the navigation in the files and play them all if there are no subfolders.

  However, the best idea is to group the podcasts in albums (with each file in an album with the same tag to album). Then you can read the album of podcasts as a series. The advantage of this is that if you read some files from podcast in the series, music, then turn off the player, when you return to the submenu podcast, the reader will remember what podcast file is changed during playback.

• BlackBerry Smartphones newby questions

  I just took a Curve 8330.  It's very different from what I'm used to, and so I have a few questions.

  1. I use Outlook Express to my main e-mail address.  It doesn't have a fixed schedule.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I should look for in a calendar that I can sync the BB to?  Is there a recommendation on a particular calendar?

  2. I probably exaggerated email accounts on my BB, but at this stage I am not prepared to cancel because of personal and professional e-mails on the BB.  Am I missing something?  Seems to me that I should be able, through BlackBerry Desktop Manager, go to my BB and delete e-mail messages using my PC.

  3. I can't use the Application Loader for the 8330.  The message is «BlackBerry Desktop Software has no peripheral BB software for the device you have connected to the computer...» "When I check updates is not one for the 8330.  I went to Verizon.  They say they get the BB site update.  Is there another way to get the update of the software?  Is there another way to download apps?

  4. I looked on the BB site for an email about these issues, but cannot find the link.  Where is - am I on it?

• MSA 1000 SAN newby question

  Hello

  I work for a small business with limited funds for the construction of a SAN infrastructure.  I currently have a HP DL380 G5 with 16 GB of RAM an HBA and 5 cards of network operating Foundation of ESX 3.5 update 3.  This server is connected to a Brocade Silkworm 200e which is connected to an MSA 1000 with a controller and a slot empy for a second controller with 14 72 GB drives possilble.  I backupexec, backup data and ESX Ranger backup of virtual machines.  I have an extra card to fiber to the server offline (I'm not worried about picking up the network to install a card failure) I have extra GBIC for the switch of fiber optics and additional optical fiber cables.  This server will host about 15 VMs - we are small and the e/s is not too.

  My question is what happens if the MSA 1000 controller module dies?  Do I have to files LUN from scratch and restore backups?  Can I put another module in the second span in an active/passive configuration?  Can I buy a second controller and the sill of LUNS will be there when replacing one defective?  Any information on the strategy here is appreciated.  We are small and need to look at the costs and are willing to give up high availability for a simple secure solution.  I hope I have ave givien enough informaltion.  Thank you.

  SPEX is absolutelly right, if you continue with a single controller and if it fails, you can just swap with a new and all information will be taken fron the disks, if you put another controller in your MSA, then I recommend Flash version 7 firmware controllers. XX which allows an Active/Active configuration

• iPad stylus newby question

  I confused directions to charge my iPad pen and it is glued directly on the lightning of my Air card; After two minutes I checked it and it was hot. I deleted and loaded with the adapter in the right way.

  Is there a chance that the pen has been damaged?

  I was surprised to see that after 10 minutes, she went from 25% to 100% of full charge. I hope this is normal behavior (and I've not messed up its sensors). It does not work as expected like a feather at least (so far). TX

  You are supposed to be able to charge Apple pencil directly from the connector of the lightning.

• Newby question about the Quick Selection tool

  I have what I think must be a simple background to remove a portrait.  This photo was taken near a white wall and a flash shadow was precipitated on the left.  The quick selection tool has no problem of selection of wall area in a mask.  The problem is when you try to register the shadow of the hood.   He has no problem with the hair.  There is a color difference evident between the hood and its shadow and its quite a different gray in the red channel.  Is it possible to adjust the tool quick selection to recognize different color or gray?

  Then return to this document (as in the screenshot), right-click on the selected layer in layers, "Duplicate layer", select the document target destination, press OK. Your layer, so that the mask is moved to the new document.

• Newby question Super base

  I have three items under my graph custom in a Flex application, a text, a label and another label that shows the current time. Flex is forcing me to place them on different lines for some reason any and requires each object be centered horizontally. But I want them all on the same line side by side. I do not see a property to adjust, can anyone direct me to where I can change this behavior?

  Because the provision of default Application is vertical, you must change this absolute property, allowing you to position its children explicitly using the x and y properties, or you may have used canvas using container in the application, which does the same thing.

• How to stop keywords being written to files?

  Newby question!

  I recently bought LR5. After importing my 20 or so thousands of images, I found myself with a list of keywords that have exceeded the limit of LR (1603 keywords?). So I embarked on a major exercise to reorganize everything in a list more rational, hierarchical... as Places > Europe > UK > England > Yorkshire.

  Obviously, tags like 'UK', 'England', 'Yorkshire' refer to an image, but 'places' is more convenient for me and I wouldn't have to be written to the file. However, even if I deselected "include on export" on the label of 'places', when I do Ctrl + S (save the metadata in the file), I find that 'places' is one of the key words.

  What I am doing wrong?

  You cannot exclude the metadata tag: this is the basis of LR to know how you have organized all (next to the catalog, of course).

  However, it will be excluded from the export. Save (Ctrl + S) metadata and export is two completely different tasks.

• not a valid client DSN storage

  Well, a newby question, I'm sure, but here's one.
  I inherited a Web site and now need to start the update and maintain.
  Has managed to connect the host to the DB and set up the fine of 100% of ColdFusion DSN - DSN verifies 100%.
  When I try to access the site on my development server, I get "the data source named"MyDsn"is not a valid client DSN storage."

  Have you created your client variable tables of data in your database? See creating client variable tables on the Client Variables page in LiveDocs. Or, define clientstorage = "cookie" in cfapplication, and try to use cookies for storing client variables.

  I am a new learner of Flex and action script. I just got a very simple question that, for example, if I have 3 HBox:

  Yes, a single instance of a component may have a parent.

  I was installing my 8330 last week and I was in a screen that allowed me to change whether or not I have check the deletion of an sms message or not, and in the same screen, I was able to define how to delete e-mails. I put it to ask to delete computer pocket and server or any handheld. Now I want to change it but I sure do think the screen again. Can someone tell me where it is and how to get there?

  On your device, open the main messages folder.

  Press the Menu key > Options > e-mail settings > Reconciation Email. Set each e-mail account you want to remove on server or handheld computer.

  You can also set a deletion confirmation message options > Menu > Options > General Options > delete.

  Maybe it's a rudimentary question but I really havn't still given an answer in my CCENT/CCNA studies.

  I can't wrap my head around the idea of links point to point with respect to the privacy and integrity of data through this link. I also have a framing of the question so bear with me hard time.

  1. I suppose that the best way of expression, the first part is are the links point to point as having a vpn tunnel or do you still need to use VPN technology it is various forms over these links to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data? I could see that it would be possible if you cross only a network of suppliers that connects geographically close branches, but if you had to go through another network of the supplier, who knows what they do with the traffic. HDLC/PPP don't really do anything to obscure the data contained in the right frameworks?

  2. that part of my question is not related to safety, but is an extension of the above question. Point to point links, which implies the word linking two relatively geographically remote, it isn't actually a gateway to the internet as a whole, correct? Would need a second service as a gateway to the internet?

  I apologize for the newbieness in these questions, but if you look back to the CCENT/CCNA self study materials that they really do not answer these questions, at least is not that I can find.

  (1) point-to-point links are usually considered safe because Your ' e traffic separate rest of all other traffic of customers. Note that point to point in this direction, can mean a physical point-to-point connection or a point-to-point virtual as an ATM virtual circuit connection.

  With point to point links you usually do not cross another network of suppliers, you use a network of suppliers to connect your sites.

For example, we have a dedicated Flex with BT circuit that gives us Internet activity. Is a point to point - Yes a sense because it's a dedicated link between us and BT.

  But I agree in principle that a P2P link would usually be between 2 geographic locations.
