  Public/retail value your folio and attach it with the free subscription you have created in iTunes. Folios that are marked as public/free will not appear up if the Viewer is a iTunes with subscription.

  I do a monthly magazine for the iPad with the Adobe DPS unique edition that comes with the creative cloud. This means that I can only make apps for a single question (1 question in the application) and I can't do multi-probleme apps (several questions in 1 app). My client is not ready to pay the tax of Professional Adobe DPS 'expensive' 3600 euros per year which is understandable, because my client is a medium size Publisher. So far, I always brought the last magazine issue on the App Store via a status update app (version 1.1, version 1.2, version 1.3, etc.). However, the problem here is that I have to wait for this app update be reviewed and approved by Apple. In the last 6 months, which takes 3 to 4 days. Now, he's already taken 7 days and the current issue of the magazine is a very sensitive time and my client is very upset about it (understandably).

  Short of paying for a pro or business account there is nothing that you can do.

  You can check other suppliers, but you will see that even if some may be

  less expensive there is no free way to handle this.

  We submitted an application multi-folio subscription for review, but it was rejected for the following reason:

  "2.3 we found that your application did not reach the basic functionality described in the release notes or your marketing material, as required by the App Store Review Guidelines.

  When the application is launched, all the available numbers can be downloaded for free. Although the user can buy renewable subscription automatically, buying renewable subscription automatically does not have any content.

  Could someone advise me on this? The situation is that we have a free and open application which contained a "sample issue" folio (not a complete problem). This folio has been set free and public.

  In-app purchase, we submitted it was a subscription 1 year renewable automatically, which has been set to "allowed to sell.

  My questions are:

  1. is it OK that argued us that a sample, no number 1 (I have been informed by a reseller DPS it's OK).

  2. If the app renewable subscription purchase is automatically changed to be NOT allowed to sell, this difficulty? My thought is that in this way, we want to erase only the subscription for sale once that question 1 is transferred.

  Yes. You have already published the free/public folio, and now you need to publish a folio of retail/public. When you publish the folio, you must specify the product ID. This product ID must match the product ID for no consumables in-app purchase that you set up in iTunes Connect. In this way, Apple can test your content at retail.

  A common error is to use the same product ID for all folios you post. Don't, don't. For each sheet of the retail sale, you will need to implement a different product ID in iTunes Connect. For best results, use the format com.mycompany.myapp.issuename , such as com.bobpublishing.nwscenery.20140601 for the June issue and com.bobpublishing.nwscenery.20140701 for the July issue.

  The folio of detail you post doesn't have to be finished. Apple just needs to be able to download something when the app is approved. Just make sure that you control when the app goes live during the presentation of the app.

  Note that you can send a whole bunch of in-app purchases to Apple for future folios retail. This so that you don't have to wait for approval from Apple to publish the folio. When you submit these in-app purchases, Apple didn't need to see the corresponding folio.

• Newsstand App with monthly issue and simple edition

  We have an application multi-probleme with iTunes subscriptions (retail) in kiosks. We currently publish monthly issues within our application.

  Recently, we also published a special issue in using this application to several subscription questions so that existing subscribers would see this special issue in detail Viewer. What we like.

  If I understand correctly, each application is relatively independent law. In other words, does not allow a purchase in one application to determine the right inside the other. Still, we're talking about two different types of purchase iTunes:-app against app.

• Frequency of Publication of issue?

  We are currently getting ready to build on the annual publication of the customer in DPS, for publication in Apple/Google/Amazon, and there have been a few questions to our Organization to see if there are obligations of frequency of publication for the various app stores.  It arises as the publication, we highlight is annual in nature.  We wouldn't put the publication out there and then, because of our long wait before the next issue, our current most removed from the list.

  Anyone know if there is a problem with one of the app stores?  In addition, editions old issues already published in a less interactive format (flat PDF) would help to solve the problem (if it exists)?

  For applications without a subscription, you can publish it as often or seldom that you care about. For applications of newsstand, Apple seems to need issues to publish at least quarterly. I don't know if this applies to non-kiosque subscription applications. You can ask Apple.

  Other stores do not need frequency of publication. At that time, DPS does not support subscriptions based on the store in other platforms such as Google Play and Windows.

• App magazine issues

  We had a magazine in the Apple app store for about 7 months now. The magazine has been free, but we need to do a paid app. I went ahead and changed the settings in the newsstand on iTunes connect (for 99 cents). I have a few quick questions:

  1. I made a new application to submit to the app store with the DPS app Builder. I changed the type of subscription "paid". Then he asks the subscription products 'product ID' and 'duration '. I pulled our applications product ID from the In - App purchase screen in iTunes connect. Is this correct? In itunes connect there we like 'type' as a 'free '. In "paying subscription" will change once I submit to the new app and it gets approved?   4. push notifications. I had trouble getting my push notifications works, but think that I figured them out now. Can I test this with the IPA file? I tried to send a notification by the producer of folio, but my test IPA did not. Does?

  You must also configure in-app purchases to your pages and add them to the subscription products in iTunes Connect to another existing folios will continue to be available for free. Then, you will need to republish them under retail sale slips. You can test if the subscription works in the sandbox by using your viewer developer by implementing of test user accounts in iTunes Connect. You will need to log out of the App store on the device with your regular account first. I think that push notifications do not work in the sandbox, but I'm not sure.

  There is one major advantage, newsstand on regualr app other than evolution of the screenshots without submitting it to apple?

  If I have a free multi-question with active membership application still do I submit in-app purchases to apple, although all the content is free to download when I add a new issue (on newsstands)?

  If you have a newspaper kiosk application, you can use push notifications to trigger a download of your most recent issue background when you publish. Your post shows also in the section of kiosk of iTunes and the newsstand on the device icon.

  I would like to publish our second number free magazine on newsstands. I have an app of several question with free membership.

  When I build the new second Folio Builder issue, can I use the same ID App Builder product like I did in the App for the Folio product producer ID generator?

  No, the product ID your specify in the application builder while creating the app does not relate to the product ID of folio/question at all. The product in the application generator ID is the ID of the subscription product and must match exactly matches the product ID of your free-subscription/self-renewing subscription in-app purchase in iTunes Connect.

  Whereas, the required when publishing the folio product ID is a unique product for all the folios/questions ID. No product ID two folio a question cannot be the same, unless it's a folio of restitution.

  In your case, since your second number is a toll-free number, you can specify any desired product ID. I suggest you use the opposite convention product ID: com.domain.publisher.issue

  Example:

  If field = www.mydomain.com

  Publisher = ABC Inc.

  Folio/question to publish = November2012

  Then, your product ID = com.mydomain.abc.november2012

• Can I continue to v23 use to my new folios on newsstands?

  1. I'll have to do a Update/notify our application that is currently on newsstands. App is built with v23. I push this update that still use the v23?

  2. also I will push a monthly 'new' issue, soon, in our multi-folio in kiosk application. Our active Viewer is v23. Can I continue to v23 use for this 'new' monthly edition?

  3. If I want to switch to v24, I have to re - build folio in App Builder and then re-submit to Apple for approval? We have a free subscription and NO product retail sales.

• Subscription to newsstand

  Sprint 20 and a viewer to the multi-probleme Viewer application with iTunes subscription, newsstand.

  The RSS has no effect on DPS applications at this time. Your application displays first Newsstand cover that you specify in the generator of spectator. Whenever you publish a new folio, one of the preview of the cover of the folio images replace cover image for the newsstand in your application. None of the pictures of the kiosk cover that you specify in iTunes Connect are actually used.

  No, this is not correct. You do not use the constructor of the Viewer to create the second issue of your magazine. You use the same Adobe ID you used to create the application (the 'Adobe ID for title' option) for you connect to the Folio Builder Panel and you create a new folio. When you publish this new folio, it appears as a new question in your viewer application.

  For your customers, allowing the application of booth means they'll run your viewer using the device of newsstand and questions will be downloaded in the background. For you, this means that you will need to create an app for the subscription set up push notifications (if you have not already done so) and resubmit your viewer to Apple.   I have some difficulty to do my ap work in the test phase of newsstand. Help, please

  You're right that each issue of your magazine is a folio, and the next edition is a different folio. And each needs a different product ID folio. I think the essential point, that you don't get is that you create product ID because the two folios AND subscription durations. A product ID for a folio in-app purchase is something like "com.ilex.photographers.oct11." A product ID for an in-app subscription purchase is something like "com.ilex.photographers.6months." That allows customers of folios, unique or a subscription that entitles them to a series of fact sheets to purchase.
