• TV 23EL933G - two things for the nex firmware update

  My girlfriend gave me this TV as a birthday gift and I really like it, but I have two things that maybe Toshiba can give us in the next update of the firmaware.

• What's NEX - 3N modifiable firmware?

  Please don't call me a fool. as I'm new here and new to these cameras.

  I just bought a NEX - 3N as a nice point at Best Buy and I love it! However, it came without cables, battery, manuals, etc., so I don't know the answer to this question. I also googled and disappeared through the SONY product page, which contains none of the firmware update. This means that you cannot update the firmware of this device. I find this hard to believe, since we are not talking here.

  My camera is currently v1.00.

  After recently trying to update the firmware on my NEX-FS700 2.0 that I discovered that the updater works on a Mac that is running a 32-bit OSX. Thus, anyone with Mountain Lion wanting to update will receive an error message saying that the update will not work on a 64-bit kernel.

• NEX 5N sweep panorama does not

  I have a brand new 5N (10 October 2012) NEX of Adorama with 18-55 mm lens.
  I used only the focal length of 18mm for sweep pano. I tried more than 100 panoramas of sweeping and only 3 came out. 3 / 100 attempts.

  I am a very experienced photographer. The error message is the same every time... "Moving camera too fast."

  I slowed way tried to hold the camera in different ways, gently, on many different outside and inside the scenes and on the tripod.

  Is there something wrong with this mode in this particular 5N.

  It will just work.

  Someone had the same problem? Am I missing something? Firmware fix this problem?

  I got this camera at a price of the rash and it's sold out everywhere, so I doubt I can get another if I return it.

  I understand that with Panorama Sweep, you will need to move the camera slowly in the direction that the arrow is oriented. In fact I was experimenting with the device and I have to move slowly in the direction of that the arrow was pointing, I would say that anywhere from 45 to 60 degrees where I was. It took at least 4-5 seconds for the panoramic image to be accepted OK. I was also using the 18-55 lens. By the engineers, Practice makes Perfect so there may be some adjustments to make when you use Sweep Panorama. However, if you have time try to put the camera to an electronics store that sells the camera or one nearby NEX models and compare the Sweep Panorama with your camera. • Frozen opening control and shutter button after the firmware update.

  I've updated my sony nex 6 to the latest version of the firmware 1.01. After that, I noticed sometimes my camera froze. The opening is indicated as - and the shutter button does nothing. I have to remove the battery and put it back to make it work again. Sometimes with my zeiss lens and more often with my goal of 18200LE. Not sure how to work around this problem and what is the problem. I've reached a point of almost fed up with my camera. Need help!

  The exact model is SEL24F18 zeiss 24mm f1.8 on the latest firmware. Camera and the lens are on the latest firmware. Sometimes, the camera shows the f-stop and I have to remove and replace the battery to operate.

  I have a laptop Asus UH56e which became more and more incompatible with my NEX - 5N.   Yes, it shows USB MTP Mode, but it does not connect to Mass Storage. By clicking import images and videos results in no new pictures or videos found on this device, despite the fact that there are pictures in the camera. Click Browse files and media then, however, shows the folder and clicking on that, I can see the image files and copy them to a folder on my hard drive. If not, how I'm able to get the camera to disply the menu in English?

  Hey yliess thanks for the comments. It's what the English user manual said, so on the right track... in the menu of the camera is in Japanese, it is a challenge to follow in English. Went on to translate the instructions below for Japanese but could not match the characters. Assuming that the menu options are in the same place, please let me know how many choices for scroll down in the 'Menu' then? 3? up to "Setup" then? 3? up to "Main Settings" then? 2? Up to "language".

• My NEX - L 6 freezes after I turn it on, then press the film. Need to remove the battery.

  I have the NEX-6 with a 16-50 lens and it freezes when I turn it on then press the movie button. If I wait longer before pressing the button, it seems to be OK, but if not, the goal remains unretracted and start and stop again does not help. I have to remove the battery and restart the device. It took me a while to understand why it was freezing upwards, and there is at least one situation where I seen it happen on a regular basis. Does anyone else have this problem? I hope an update of the firmware wouldn't be now, but have not seen.
